And I'm not even a fan of feta. Could eat this all day - Empanadas: comes with 3 empanadas per order. We were each able to try half of each one. Flavorful - Pork belly: my friends enjoyed this dish - easily shareable amongst the 5 that ate it - Spicy handroll dip: little bit on the smaller side, but tasty. - Cinnabiscuit: this was unique and delicious. We shared amongst 6 of us, but could easily be consumed by one person based on the taste Miscellaneous: - Indoor and outdoor seating available - Good for small and large groups - Food is a little bougey for kids, but we had a kid with us and he enjoyed the French fries - Dishes are definitely meant to be shared - Casual ambiance and a little loud (could still hear each other) since there are a lot of tables inside

I visited with a few friends (party of 5) on a Sunday morning at 10am and we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table inside. The ambiance was very lively, and it was a great environment for us to hang and catch up. I ordered the chicken & waffles, which was quite good with fluffy waffles and juicy chicken. My husband got the breakfast burrito and while it looked amazing at first glance, it was severely lacking flavor and tasted like there was absolutely no salt...

I usually get the same item at Basquia Bakery: Korokke, a Korean style fried bread with a crispy panko exterior, filled with savory mash potatoes. For $3, it's a good deal for a snack. Some of Basquia Bakery's baked goods are not labeled so I would have totally overlooked their Korean mochi bread if it weren't for TikTok. Last fall, Korean sweet potato mochi bread (goguma ppang) went viral. For months, the commercial frozen ones were sold out at Korean markets. The supply has since been replenished (along with frozen kimbap) but if you can't commit to an entire bag like myself, then this is for you. Plus, this may be the only bakery in NorCal selling freshly made Korean mochi bread. M E N U Along with mochi bread, Basquia Bakery sells cakes (slice + whole), roll cakes, fruit tarts, cream puffs, bread, buns, k corn dogs, etc. For drinks, they have non-caffeinated lattes (e.g. black sesame and beer). M O C H I B R E A D Available in pairs ($4) or a variety box of the five flavors ($9). I went with the latter. Visited Saturday morning around 9:45 am and the had about a 50% supply left. Can we talk about how adorable these are?! The mochi bread is shaped based on their flavors. The mochi "bread" is mochi with a chewy exterior filled with a mashed filling. This is my personal preference but I like mochi that has more of an elastic, bouncy QQ chew which this didn't quite have. The texture did improve after air-frying the leftovers. Flavors: * Sweet Potato // 4 stars Looks and tastes exactly like the real deal with sweet, fluffy mashed interior but hits different with the slight gelatinous chew. Tip: Eat this with kimchi. It's adds a delicious tang and heat to contrast the natural sweetness. * Corn // 4 stars Enjoyed the creamy corn filling with kernels for texture. * Potato // 4 stars Savory, creamy mashed potatoes. I wanted to pair this with a steak. Lol. * Chestnut // 4 stars I love roasted chestnut but this has cinnamony, chocolatey notes from the dusting of cocoa powder + cinnamon. There were chunks of roasted chestnut. * Kabocha // 3 stars Again, tasted like the real deal but too sweet for me. Overall, glad I tried this cute novelty at Basquia Bakery. I'm now convinced to buy a bag of the commercial frozen ones, yanno for taste test comparison purposes. ;)

We were able to add ourselves the the list and were seated within 10 minutes. Both broths were very flavorful and rich, the noodles were just chewy enough, and the thin slices of chashu was nice and tender. The chicken karaage wasn't breaded too thick and was extremely tasty. Service here is so friendly, I believe it's family run if I'm not mistaken. Do be preapred to wait, and the waitlist can only be joined physically from the store. This broth doesn't make me sleepy or have excess sodium. It's smooth and almost milky. The flavor packs a punch and the noodles are so fresh, almost like a butter melting in your mouth. So proud to support Hajime and hope they stay in good business for many years to come!

A healthy alternative for brunch! Then menu has many offerings to suit most every palette. I appreciate how most of the ingredients are listed in each entree. It would be even better to have the ingredients of the batter listed somewhere, though. I pre-ordered ordered the Avocado, and I received a message that my order would be ready in about 20 minutes. I arrived six minutes early, but my order was ready at that time. The ingredients were indeed fresh. I could smell the veggies - a good sign of freshness. The crepe was big, cut up and placed in the container in two layers. The crepe batter was fluffy and not dried-out, and the lemon tahini sauce provided a nice touch of lemony flavor that was not overpowering. To say that the flavor was bland is not really accurate, as the flavor was organic - I could taste each vegetable without the saltiness. For some people this may be bland. But for those of us who need to watch our salt intake, it was good. I am happy that this establishment caters to those with dietary restrictions. Nowadays this seems to be more and more of an important consideration when choosing where to eat. In that respect, Crepe Bistro does not disappoint.

We checked in and were seated right away, and the setup was absolutely beautiful! They brought out our tea first, which we enjoyed while waiting for the pastry tower to arrive. Once it came out, they told us to eat from top to bottom, so that's exactly what we did! Each bite was delicious, everything tasted freshly baked and made, and I especially loved that the pastries weren't overly sweet. Although we enjoyed eating the tower from top to bottom, next time we would probably go from bottom to top since we like to save our sweets for last! Of course, we couldn't leave without getting more pastries to bring home. They have plenty of classic pastries, like croissants, along with more unique specialties, like their croissant cube. Everything looked and tasted so fresh, with that perfect flaky, crackly texture. The pastries are a little pricey for bakery items, but in my opinion, they're definitely worth it for the quality and freshness.
