The Chè (5/5): The dessert menu strikes a fantastic balance between classic sweetness and rich texture. The Ha Noi Mist stand out with fresh ingredients--rich coconut milk, perfectly chewy tapioca, and sweet jellies that aren't overwhelmingly sugary. Everything tastes fresh-made daily rather than artificially pre-packaged. Service & Staff (5/5): The nhân viên (staff) are exceptionally warm, welcoming, and fast on their feet. Even during busy peak hours, the service remains attentive and patient, whether you are dining in or grabbing a quick order to go. Ambiance & Cleanliness (5/5): A cozy, clean, and bright spot to hang out with friends or grab a refreshing treat after a meal. read more

The coffee was pretty good, very nice taste, service was kinda bad, they were pretty stingy. The ambiance was normal, nothing special.

Food: 5/5 * The Pandan Waffles are perhaps the best in the Bay Area. The pandan jelly & coconut sauce elevate this beyond the usual recipe. And they're prepared hot & fresh, worth the short wait! * The Sa Pa Delight is cozy & satisfying. I'm not accustomed to corn in desserts, but I still enjoyed this. * The Sweet & Salty is a very good Vietnamese coffee drink, with just enough salt to accentuate the other flavors. Ambiance: 5/5 * Cozy & well-decorated, with nice decor. * Sufficient seating, plenty of power outlets, and free Wi-Fi. Service: 4/5 * Reasonably fast and friendly. Overall: 5/5 * Highly recommend for Vietnamese drinks & desserts. * I appreciate the wide hours, meaning you can come here for a morning pick-me-up or an evening treat. read more

It's quite a wait for your order and the che itself and drinks are average. They cost more than other places and it doesn't meet the expectations. I'd only come back when they have deals or would rather go to Bambu or pho places for it. There Che misses on some ingredients too from what I've ordered at others. read more

I've been to Co Ba several times, and the first thing I ever got was so good I've never ordered anything else off the menu. Which is slightly regrettable, but I think also speaks to how good the Ha Long Sunset is. I love the combination of the fruits and other toppings make for interesting textures and a mix of sweetnesses that, combined with the coconut milk, make for an excellent dessert! Drinking a whole cup of coconut milk is almost certainly not great for you though, so I try to be careful with going too often. 50% sweet is also very sweet already, i don't think I could handle 100%. The store itself is quite nice inside, there's a fair amount of seating for a small shop, and while I generally get mine to go, it can be nice to eat yours fresh inside! read more

Great service and food! Vibe and seating area are plenty, love coconut here and area!

My favorite place for a refreshing drink! My go to all day is the Saigon Pearl... which includes pandan jelly, red pearl, young coconut, grass jelly, chia seeds, longan and coconut water... for the most part healthy and refreshing, with 25% sweetness. There is a long wait sometimes because this place is so good and popular so make sure to order ahead if you can. Parking is slightly limited but I never had a problem finding parking. Place is clean, cute, and cozy. Customer service is excellent! read more

The husband and I stopped by Co Ba and really enjoyed their drinks! We ordered the Coconut Cloud, Matcha Bliss, Ha Long Sunset, and Ube Waffles. The Coconut Cloud was delicious and the Matcha Bliss was super refreshing. I really didn't know what to expect from the Ha Long Sunset, but ended up enjoying the sweet dessert. Lastly, the Ube Waffles were yummy, slightly crunchy with a mochi-like texture. All in all, we really enjoyed their drinks and desserts. The shop itself is cozy. Atmosphere was pretty busy and crowded when we were there with limited seating. Staff was friendly and service was quick. read more

Really good dessert. I would give the Ha Noi Mist with 50% sweet a 10/10 on flavor and serving size. The wait was 20 minutes with 2 groups of 3 people each ahead of us. If you're here with friends, the time goes by quickly, but if you want an in and out pickup, order ahead. There is plenty of seating, and the place is really clean, fresh and cool. I think there's nothing too special about the dessert I ordered, but I will come here again to try the more non traditional ones. read more

This place serves Vietnamese dessert chè with a modern twist. It was pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon. I got the ube waffles. I liked the chewiness and the coconut and pandan jelly inside. The Ha Noi mist reminded me of Che ba mau. It comes cold in a large cup. You get a generous amount. It was $10.50 which is on the pricey side. Also got the vung Tau serenity. A modern twist to chè troi nuoc. It comes warm. I love the ube filling. It's really good with the coconut cream. Really good dessert. On the pricey side but worth the try! read more

Some of the best che I've had in the area! The shop is almost always busy, yet the staff are very helpful and attentive. I usually get the Ha Noi Mist which is such a classic and refreshing dessert. I've even gotten it to go and they package a separate bag of ice to make sure it doesn't melt and get diluted on the way home! I tried the Hoi An Imperial (warm) which was also very delicious which strong coconut components. I loved the warm taro chewy pieces in particular. Theres actually ample seating inside and outside, kept very clean. I want to come back to try the dessert flight, but it's almost always too busy for me to stick around for a table. read more

After eating at this one Chè place in SoCal and honestly being obsessed w/ it, I've been searching for one in NorCal that taste somewhat the same, and I finally found it. YAY!!! Vibes: 10/10 it's clean and pretty cute inside. The music is obv Viet music, but I'm Viet so... Service: 10/10 the cashiers were nice and attentive. I was greeted as I walked in and as I left. And they were more than happy to help me answer any questions I had. Food: 10/10 I got the Ha Long Sunset without the lychee jelly for $10. I only got one drink this time unfortunately. Trying to cut down on my sugar intake :(((. But it's SO DAMN GOOD. The coconut milk is just the right amount of sweet and taste awesome. The toppings inside are so fun to eat, and you have the option to remove any topping you might not like. Overall: 10/10 The service is great, the inside is clean (bathroom included), and it's the perfect place for Chè. No more needing to crave for the chè in SoCal :3 read more

I've been to Co Ba twice now and had a great experience both times. I was looking for a reliable dessert spot open late that serves desserts on the lighter side, and che fit the bill perfectly. Both times I've gone were half an hour before closing and the store was packed. The first time I got the Ha Noi Mist and the Lychee Rose, the second time I got the Ha Long Sunset and a limited stock warm specialty dessert with pandan and ube dumplings in a ginger coconut sauce. The Ha Noi Mist's ingredients sounded the most aligned with my personal preferences and I got the Lychee Rose to try something different but refreshing on a warm summer night. I was hesitant to get the Ha Long Sunset since I'm not a fan of jackfruit but Eric voted for it, and also the dumplings since a ginger coconut sauce sounds weird but he said that's what he wanted. Sipping che through a straw definitely beats spooning it. Make sure to thoroughly mix the drink and crush up the ice a bit before indulging. On my first visit I didn't notice the kiosk and ordered with the cashier so I was confused at how I would know when my order is ready because I didn't get a number or a receipt, but I later noticed the screens displaying that information on the wall. I'm a big fan of pandan jelly. The red pearls can be good but can sometimes have a bit of a crunchy chew in the center. Young coconut has a good flavor but a texture that isn't my favorite. I did not like the jackfruit in the Ha Long Sunset, but the flavor wasn't strong enough to ruin the whole dessert. I feel like che is a dessert that is not necessarily expensive or time consuming to produce, and the milk tea/fruit tea prices here are definitely on the pricey end given their component ingredients. Yes I would revisit, especially when I need dessert late, but I feel that making che at home could be the cost-effective alternative. read more

Wow!! I've been wanting to try something like this when I saw something similar on social media! We don't have any of this in Las Vegas! I had to make it over here! I got the Sai Gon Pearl since that was popular. Oh my goodness! How yummyyy and light! I love all the mix in the drink with the pandan jelly, grass jelly, Logan, chia seeds. It was tasty but healthy in a way. I didn't get mine sweet at all which was perfect. I love having the options of having it 25% sweet. I also wanted to try the warm dessert as well. The Da Nang Supreme also hit the spot! That homemade purple yam was sooo goood! I only had 2 pieces though ;(. A little too much cassava for me but it was still good. Service was pretty quick despite how busy it was. Ambiance- love the coffee vibes and decor! I absolutely love this place! Ya'll need to come down to Las Vegas. I originally visited Co Ba for an Elite Week, but it was so good we had to come back! This time in February, the staff were just as helpful, the desserts and ambiance were still on point! New menu item: Taro/Ube Dumplings was my favorite. They came with a generous portion size that could be shared by 2 people as a small dessert, with the chewy dumplings dumped in a ginger syrup/broth. Everything else pictured was also great, really enjoyed how authentically SE asian/Viet this spot is! read more

I was curious to see if this place was any better than Bambu. Their focus is Vietnamese desserts. Their chè selection sometimes is slept on, but I'd love to try it next time since I notice a lot of people come to order them. There is good variety on the menu too. From desserts to coffee and tea. I ordered the Matcha Bliss, which was refreshing from the coconut juice and something different than my usual matcha latte. It is bit healthier compared to other sweet drinks. The shop is clean with a modern interior and cute artwork. They do their best to replicate the artsy cafe style in Vietnam. I loved the wall art of the girl wearing a traditional Vietnamese dress when you first walk in. It's definitely Instagramable. It's a great spot when you're craving something sweet. Came in on a Saturday around 10:40pm and was able to place my order right away using the self-service kiosk, which was super convenient. Co Ba Dessert is located in a spacious plaza with plenty of parking, so getting in and out was easy. The interior really stood out to me. It's bright, clean, and filled with greenery that gives it a fun, tropical vibe. While you're waiting, you can watch their display showing different desserts and how some of them are made, which is a nice touch. They offer a wide variety of Vietnamese desserts and chè, and the ordering system is very organized. Once you place your order, it shows up on a TV screen so you can track when it's ready. What I ordered: -Ha Long Sunset: I loved the mix of textures, especially the pandan jelly and red pearls. Every sip felt a little different, which made it fun to drink. It wasn't overly sweet and had a nice balance from the coconut milk. Definitely something I'd order again. 5/5 Service was fast and friendly, even though we came close to closing. We got our order within about 5 minutes. Overall, Co Ba Dessert is a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving something sweet, refreshing, and a little different. read more

Was craving a sweet treat so decided to come here after dinner. The restaurant is open until 10:30pm on typical weekdays -- there are people studying inside or groups just enjoying conversations with one another, honestly great vibes. Despite it being late on a weekday, all but one table were occupied, so luckily we were able to get a seat. There's also some outdoor tables outside if needed. The parking lot is on the smaller end, but not to the point where it's impossible to find parking - people are constantly pulling in and out of the lot so your parking chances are good. The interior is on the modern looking side, with a mural on the wall and somewhat dim lighting. I got the ube waffle, which takes around 10-15 minutes to prepare (since I ordered with the worker instead of the kiosk, she had warned me about the wait time) since they make it as you order. Indeed after 10 or so minutes, the waffle came warm and fresh. I was expecting a waffle with slightly ube flavor, but the texture and flavor exceeded expectations! The ube flavor was more prominent than not, and there are pandan jellies and little coconut flakes inside the batter, which made the waffle mochi like and chewy. Would get again! read more

I came here last night after having dinner for my cousin's birthday. We were all craving a drink and ended up choosing Che (vietnamese dessert). We actually tried to come here New Year's Eve but they were closed haha. We came during the last hour before closing and they had a bit of a wait because there were a few parties inside. I ordered the vung tau serenity because my cousin told me it was the closest Vietnamese dessert that they have to Che ba mau (the 3 colored one). My boyfriend ended up getting the Thai orchid because he wasn't craving dessert. 4 drinks and our wait time was about 10-15 minutes on a weekday night. I personally liked and enjoyed my dessert drink because I was craving for something sweet. My boyfriend didn't really like the Thai orchid because he said the taste was too strong. I think the Thai orchid was Thai black milk tea so maybe it had coffee? I ended up trading him because he kept sipping my drink then sighing at his. I forgot which dessert drink my cousin got, but he gets it all the time from here. Our other friend got the avocado smoothie and said it was just alright. I would come back to try their hot items like the hot desserts and the banh kep (waffles) next time. read more

This is cute little coffee and tea spot in a small strip mall. I am no stranger to a Vietnamese coffee but this is my first time trying Vietnamese deserts and I was excited to try their desert flights. Let me start off by saying I love Coconut. I went in knowing that this was going to be a treat, as this is a desert spot. So everything I had was sweet and delicious. Upon entering your eyes will immediately go straight to the beautiful large art of a woman on the wall. I loved the decor, colors and greenery. The shop was smaller than I thought. It had a few tables, a small high top facing looking outside and a bench/sofa seating up against the wall with a few tables. I did notice there were outlets and charging ports in the seating which is nice if you come here to do work, but the tables are small and round so there isn't much space. There are several tables for outside seating as well. What we ordered... Moments of sweetness flight This was served warm and came with a flight of Sa Pa Delight-Sticky Rice, Corn, Pandan, Coconut Sauce Da Nang Supreme-Cassava, Purple Yam, Pandan Jelly, Phu Quoc Paradise-Taro, Ube Sticky Rice, Coconut Sauce I recommend you share this. With the portion size, this is totally sharable, especially if you're ordering tea or coffee. My first try, I thought it was yummy and of course sweet (hence the sharable) My favorite would be Phu Quoc Paradise. I could see myself ordering that again. As far as the price, it was $22.50. Which I thought made sense considering 3 people could eat this desert. Pandan and Ube waffle. These are made to order so there is a 10-15 min wait. The texture was perfect. The waffles are not too sweet and have coconut and pandam jelly inside. It is served with a side of coconut sauce, so that will add more sweetness for you. Matcha paradise. My daughter is a matcha lover so according to her, she enjoyed. Coconut cloud Vietnamese coffee. The salted cream on the top was delicious. You can adjust the sweetness to this drink and next time I would probably make it less sweet. Overall it a delicious treat. Lychee rose- if you love lychee this is a refreshing drink Like I stated before, This is a desert coffee shop, there are a few simple things on the menu such as espresso, but expect many items that will be a sweet treat. My 5 stars was for the service and quality of the items. read more

Love me some Co Ba Dessert Tea & Coffee!! "Co Ba" translates to Aunt #3, and here, Aunt #3 puts a modern spin on your typical authentic Vietnamese desserts. They pride themselves on using quality ingredients that are natural. Menu offerings range from: warm desserts, cold desserts, hot teas, iced teas, milk teas, & an assortment of Vietnamese coffees. Smoothies, cakes, & even dessert flights are available [easily allowing you to sample a little bit of everything]. Items that I've tried: * HOI AN IMPERIAL * PHU QUOC PARADISE [highly recommended!] * SAI GON PEARL * PANDAN VIBES * LYCHEE ROSE * MEKONG MAJESTIC I can't recall any major disappointments when it comes to my purchases. All orders are made fresh and drinks can be customized with add ons or adjustments. Desserts have a subtle level of sweetness and lots of yummy textures found in each bowl. Anyone who is familiar with Vietnamese/Asian desserts will understand. Drinks, however, tend to be on the sweeter side even after I've adjusted the sweetness level. The main disappointing factor for me are the red pearls. Be advised that red pearls are not red rubies [water chestnut bits covered in tapioca]!! I made the mistake of assuming and ended up being letdown when there wasn't the expected chewy, crunch combo. These babies are essentially boba but red in color. Another tidbit that I would recommend is having the purple yam dumplings contain more of the yam/taro flavoring. While the purple yam dumplings satisfies chewy texture loving feens, the taste is very bland and boring. The standout dessert for me was 100% Phu Quoc Paradise simply because of the chunks of taro provided- this gives off sweet, nutty notes that balance out the che. 4/5 stars. Co Ba Dessert Tea & Coffee is a solid joint to satisfy sweets cravings or quench any thirst. Above all, staff is friendly, hardworking, and extremely helpful. read more

I stopped by on a weekday afternoon. The place was not busy. I went for their dessert tasting flight - Symphony in Three. That was three of their top selling cold drinks. Tastes were exotic, but I thought they were delicious. It was perfect for 3 people. All drinks had overlapping tastes. Ha Long Sunset was probably my favorite with a very slight edge over the other. Sai gon pearl was a relatively light drink, as it was mostly coconut water. Still very refreshing. Ha Noi Mist was also delicious, though it was slightly less flavorful than Ha Long Sunset. read more

I think I found my new favorite Vietnamese café and matcha spot in the neighborhood! Their Cloud Matcha at 50% sweetness absolutely hit the spot. The location is kinda odd being in a plaza and next to all the tech buildings. When we first arrived, we thought we had punched in the wrong address. We ordered the Che flight and was surprised about the price! I think it's too overpriced for the size since each Che can only have a splash of each ingredient before the cup becomes full. The names also confused me because they literally don't mean anything to me.... As Vietnamese people, we literally did not know what we were ordering from the description of each until we tasted them and was like oh.. it's this. I don't see the harm in putting the actual name of the Che on the menu, even if it's just in the description of them. We would rank them: 1) Che 3 mau 2)che Thai 3) Che suong sao hot e. The cup is too small for even mix them without it spilling over the edge. The tiny spoon is also useless for eating it as it did not pick up anything... Given that this is a flight, I feel like it should represent the best Che they offer, but they all fell short. Then given the price, I would honestly just order 3 full sized ones to get a more balanced flavor/mix. I don't think we would come back but if we did, we would only get the Che ba mau. read more

I've gotten chè from here twice -- to-go and dine-in. I like their chè bắp, Ha Long Sunset, and Hanoi Mist. The corn in the chè bắp is crisp and not too mushy. The Ha Long Sunset reminds me of chè Thai and wasn't too sweet even without any adjustments. The Hanoi Mist was an interesting variation of, what I'm assuming, is chè thập cẩm. The Hanoi Mist was my favorite because it wasn't overly sweet along with having yummy purple yam, which I hadn't seen before. Service was fine. We ordered on the screen and they diligently brought everything out but we put it away ourselves after. The actual space itself was cramped, in my opinion, but doable. The chè flights were so aesthetically pleasing but it felt cramped on our table. Regardless, I still recommend coming here to try their chès as it was consistent when I got to-go and dined in! read more

The best place for Che and Waffles. I had this place book marked for a while but never got around to trying it until recently. I got the Sunset with less sugar and side ice. I really like that they let you customize the sweetness and ice level as i feel like other che places always puts too much ice. The toppings all have really good texture and feels like higher quality when compared to places like bambu After trying it, I couldn't stop thinking about it the rest of the week and had to come back to get more! The waffle is also surprisingly REALLY good. I was hesitant about the waffle at first as the price point is a little steep but it's just too good to pass up. The outside is crispy and the inside texture is chewy like mochi and there is also strands of coconut meat. Highly recommend trying the desserts here you won't be disappointed read more
