I'm writing to express my frustration with my local Krispy Kreme location. Unfortunately, this has become an ongoing issue. Multiple times when I've visited in the evening--typically between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM--the store either appears closed (with signage turned off) or has already run out of most of the main donut selections. Most recently, on 4/13/2026 at around 8:30 PM, I arrived after checking online, which stated the store is open until 11:00 PM. When I got there, it looked like the store was closed, with no clear indication that it was still open. I do have pictures documenting this. I eventually walked in, and someone came from the back to assist me, but I felt rushed during the interaction, which added to the overall negative experience. I completely understand that inventory can run low toward the end of the day, but consistently running out of core items hours before closing--and creating the impression that the store is closed--causes confusion and frustration. It takes away from what should be a simple and enjoyable experience, especially when bringing family out for a treat. I kindly ask that this issue be looked into. Better communication of actual availability, consistent operating hours, and improved customer service would go a long way in improving the experience for customers in the community. I normally love Krispy Kreme. This particular instance I placed an order to be ready the following morning. I was so excited to pick up donuts and surprise my coworkers. I walked in and said I had a pick up order the girl at the counter looks less then thrilled to help me. She informed me that the store didn't get my order due to not having internet and that they let me know. I check my email and see the email was mailed to me 10 minutes before my pickup time as i was driving to the location. No one thought to try to call me either?! I made sure I would be refunded and left empty handed. She did not offer to make my order and charge me while I wait for the other to fall off or anything for the inconvenience. They can sit on your counter for Day or 2 and not get hard and crusty like other doughnuts which I'm thankful for because there's no way we're gonna get through the dozen soon- just gotta love them! Got a reward of a free donut, so I got my favorite donut ( favorite from other place: maple donut l) it was WAY TOO sweet.

I do love independent shops, but Krispy Kreme is such a classic. It doesn't hurt to have a dozen donuts, or 2, every now and then. From time to time, I drop in to grab some for family and friends. They have fun decorated donuts that changes from week to week (I don't come often enough to know how frequently these changes, but they definitely have holiday and specials event ones). I like to get a mix of traditional glaze donuts as well as the decorated donuts. They are really sweet, but I still enjoy getting the filled donuts. Sometimes it can be too sweet though. The custard-fillings are more liquid and less sweet than the Kreme-fillings. I appreciate the funny events they have and how the company engages its consumers.
