The pumpkin chai latte with almond milk crossed off my seasonal quota for pumpkin flavored drinks. It's pretty sweet so I would take the latte home and add more almond milk to dilute the flavoring, which is an unintended plus for me because then I get to have 2 drinks for the price of one. It's pretty noisy and busy even on a Monday so I wouldn't choose this spot to get some work done but it is adequately air conditioned so it feels nice to escape the heat. read more

I went in for a pick up order that I put in on Uber Eats and the app tells me the orders ready, it was a large order of 4 drinks. So when I walked in a see a big bag and I try to look in the bag because it was the only big bag order on the counter so as I'm trying to glance I'm able to see it has my name on it so I start moving the bag closer and one of the younger girls snatches the bag from me and tells me "this is for Nate" and runs off before I can say that was me. Then I wait a bit and attempt again to grab MY bag to put my drinks in and then the only old lady that works there runs up and snatched the bag out of my hand, then at this point I say "that's for Nate right? That's my order isn't it ready" and she says "yes" then rips the order receipt off the bag, takes out the cup holders and puts them back and folds the bag to put it away and walks away. So I had to grab literally the same cup holder that she just put back and load up my drinks and leave without a bag. Luckily the guy there making the drinks at the time was polite and had a good vibe. That one young lady needs way more training on customer service and that very old Filipina lady really should not be working with customers at all, she was very rude for no reason. read more

We used to love this place. The staff is so nice but sadly we will not be back. They literally have two chairs in their coffee place that are comfortable, and the rest of the seating is not comfortable. Last week I was reading my book at a table and I pulled in the chair across from me to just put my toes up because I needed some more back support. I had removed my shoes. Then a manager comes by and tells me to put my feet down and it was really embarrassing. Then she went in the back and I wanted to have a conversation about what had just conspired but she wouldn't come out and one of the workers told me on the phone later that they're very concerned about hygiene and that that was unhygienic? They allowed dogs in their restaurant so I don't think that's hygienic either, but anyway. I will miss the employees but I won't be back. Finding a new coffee place. read more

The most screwed up service and food today. I used to come here alot but never again. I ordered two coffees. One drip and one latte . Latte came first, when I asked about my drip coffee , she said it's coming . I waited and waited to only get decaf. Then when I questioned the guy he said it was decaf. So I asked again for regular . The sandwich came all soggy and wet , coffee was also cold No more peets . Quality and service has gone down the toilet big time read more

I love this location. The baristas are always so timely, friendly and knowledgeable. Shout out to Diego today for being so kind and patient with my birthday reward! I order from DD everyday and pay $9 for a cappuccino. Their baristas are so inconsistent with how they make it. The WORST when you look forward to a very expensive cup of coffee and it tastes like crap. As someone who can't come in in person, it genuinely sucks. Hire better talent. read more

Peet's Coffee is located in San Jose, Ca off of blossom hill rd. My Peet's order had been placed online for in store pickup regardless of location where I am in. Coffee is strong taste. Not much staff interaction but, if having to interact with customer service associates of peers employees I'm primarily communicative spoken in English only. Oddly ever since the remodel drinks have not been good. The staff is nice enough but gosh the drinks always disappoint compared to other locations. My matcha latte tastes mostly like oat milk and the color is light. I'm not about to pay more for flavor when at Starbucks I can add as many scoops as I want for no up charge. The lattes tastes off too. Do I tell them? No, because no matter who makes them they just don't hit like at other locations and I've been to a few. Maybe they're too busy to make things better but I've been there at different times with different staff and level of busy. I stopped going here a while ago but recently came and remembered why I don't frequent this location. read more

First time trying Peet's and unfortunately it was very disappointing. I got an iced matcha latte and it had no matcha flavor, it just tasted like sugar and milk... the Carmel frap also just tasted like blended sugar and milk. Not worth the $13 :( read more

Not much of a line on a Sunday afternoon, but lots of people already enjoying their coffee. Ordered their Cold Brew Horchata Latte with Oat Milk. Not bad- consistency was smooth, lightly sweet but I have a demanding sweet tooth, so I wished there was more sweetness coming from the cinnamon sugar. The cinnamon sugar kicks in during your first few sips but the medium roast flavor kicks and totally wipes out the sweet taste. Fast service for a decent price of $6.50 for a medium coffee. read more

I found this Frappe to be better than the ones offered by the competitors, so from now onwards I will stick to Peet's Coffee and tea . It is my Go-to-place. I really like this location. Staff are friendly, the indoor area is quite spacious, and you are right next to Whole Foods. It is quite convenient! That said, parking can be a bit tricky, especially on the weekends. It can also be a little confusing as to where the line starts, if you've never been to this Peet's location before. You start in the left and then wait for your order on the right. I've had the cold brew, Horchata oat latte, and it's really good! I could potentially ask for a little bit less sweet, but it's a nice treat! There are some seats outdoors as well. read more

This Peet's customer service is very bad. After spending money on 2 drinks, I asked for an iced water and she refused to give me one unless it was on a paper cup. She already seemed irritated before I even asked for water so I left. If you're unhappy doing your job please don't give your paying customers your negative attitude. read more

Went here to grab a protein bar and a shot of peets espresso and I had a good fill! I like to stay clean and lean so a great cheap pick me up. I am on for like 4 hours! Peet's never disappoints either. One station for order and one station for pick up. Covid safe and met with a friend to chat, this is definitely happenin place during covid. Awesome and nice staff, great locals and that's all I want when I go out. Pure awesomeness. Almaden area rocks! So clean and somewhat diverse, but whatever stand up for yourself! Peet's Coffee really got my attention when I saw they have a whole plant based section on their menu for not only coffees and teas but food items! And it's not just a bagel with avocado spread either. They have a plant based breakfast sandwich - The Everything Plant Based Sandwich - everything bagel with beyond sausage, just egg and vegan cheddar. It's not spectacular BUT compared to another big coffee chain, Pete's has a wider variety of plant based options. As of now this is the only plant based sandwich option but they also offer a vegan muffin and a vegan brownie. My favorite item on their menu is the Matcha Latte with brown sugar and oat milk. I'm usually hesitant to get matcha at chain coffee shops because the matcha quality isn't always the best but at Pete's it's actually not bad! I love that they sweeten it with brown sugar syrup too. I'm a sucker for the sweeter things. I have also tried the Horchata Cold Brew oat milk latte and that was delicious. It definitely felt like Christmas in a cup to me because of the cinnamon in the horchata. I love the staff at this location, they're always friendly and service is quick. It's always clean here with tables being wiped off and the outside tables are clean as well. There's never trash everywhere. Every location I've been to has been consistent with service and cleanliness. Definitely check out their plant based menu next time you're looking to try something new! read more

Hit a bit of a busy time at 3pm , but was able to find a table for my friend and I to sit and chat. Ordered a matcha latte with almond milk. I like the fact, the cashier asked me if I wanted it sweetened. I said yes and added almond milk. I sprinkled a little cinnamon on top and I have to say I like their matcha latte a little more than Starbucks ( Starbucks is very sweet!) Had to write these names down to remember their excellence: Helen, Alyssa, & Nick with Amy as the shift. All I can say is, "Wow." (In the best way possible). Today my office had a very last minute coffee order and I went to place it in person. I walked in to see a pretty busy scene & was nervous that I might be there a while or that I might get a drink messed up. The experience could not have been more opposite! The person working the register took my order of about 15 drinks without any issues, got all my sizes, milk preferences, syrup amounts, & other edits punched in perfectly without any hang ups. She communicated everything with her coworkers working the drinks and away they went! I borrowed a pen to get the receipt figured out & watched while this team perfectly maintained the flow of helping the other customers while simultaneously getting my order underway. It was really cool to hear how motivated & happy to help they were. I was so impressed! As the drinks started coming out, I saw that even went as far as writing the names of the drinks & their modifications on the lids & let me use a sharpie to add coworker's names to avoid any confusion back at the office. So helpful! Within about 15 minutes from ordering, I was walking out the door This staff absolutely exceeded my expectations and blew me away today! Their teamwork behind the counter was seamless as they poured shots, finished drinks, & got EVERY DETAIL of my complicated drink orders correct in the FIRST TRY (all while helping the other customers at the same time!). The only thing I regret is not being able to leave a bigger tip on the company card I'm amazed. I've been coming to this Peet's for years but have never ordered more than a couple drinks max. Helen, Alyssa, Nick, & Amy the shift lead knocked it outta the park today. Thank you so much! Management, PLEASE recognize your staff for being so skilled and efficient at what they do! read more

My neighborhood Peet's! I have several coffee options in the neighborhood but come to this location for several reasons- it's centrally located in the plaza right next to Whole Foods so I can grab a latte and run errands, super easy parking situation with lots of spots, very COVID friendly with a big inside + outside seating if I want to sit and enjoy my coffee or meet with a friend. It's only appropriate I write this review now because I'm waiting for my husband to wake up so I can get my Sencha tea and their yummy egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I completely forgot to take a picture the last two times I went, but I will definitely take one today just for yelp! I just love Peet's Coffee! I'm a tea person, so there are so many more options for me here than other coffee places. I really like that you have the option to have your tea in a bag or loose leaf. Also their egg and cheese is perfectly toasted in their 7 grain and every bite has the perfect crunch. Also, you can order in their mobile app so you don't have to wait at all. Okay, I should just wake my husband because writing about it makes me want it even more! read more

The raspberry matcha special had a pleasant raspberry punch but it was too tart overall for my preference. It can get quite noisy, including in their new indoor/outdoor seating area. The line outside can look daunting but it moves quickly. Service was great! We paid about $28pp total. Would love to try the rest of their menu!

The menu is a bit hard to read--some items are on a big hanging letterboard, some are on a laminated printout, others are in a standing letterboard, and some of the items lack descriptions (would you know what an All Nighter drink is without having to look it up?), which made it a bit confusing to order. There are some interesting food options, and the menu is on the limited side which assures me that each item will likely be or a higher quality. The prices make sense for the portion sizes as well. I think the coffee is better than the food--the All Nighter was very interesting, as the coffee flavor was pretty strongly fruity compared to what I am used to with Vietnamese lattes (this item was described as the cafe's take of one). I would love to try some of their other flavored lattes, which they profess are made with house-made syrups. The ube waffle was okay--it isn't better than anything I could make at home with a storebought waffle mix, and is not served with any condiments or toppings. I am curious about their other food options but am thus far not particularly awed. I like that they are pretty coffee-forward and that their drinks are not overly sweetened, and I would recommend it. I plan to come back to try their other offerings.

They do not have any dedicated parking and you will need to rely on street parking, but from the times I have been there, it has been pretty fruitful. When walking towards the reserved area, you are greeted with very mystical decor, with hanging fake wisterias, and decorated in floral. The menu has a good amount of items to try from, and they do have seasonal drinks. When I asked the last time, they did mention they stock their pastries from Manresa (if you are a fan, you might want to order a thing or two!) The service is very friendly, and I waited max only 10 minutes for my drink. Despite it being completely outdoor, there is ample seating, and while I might not recommend it for studying or working from home, this is a cute spot to catch up with friends or even read a book outdoors. The last few times I went, I got a lavender latte (and it did not blow my mind nor differed from other places), but despite that, it still fulfilled a need. I also have ordered a seasonal orange cardamom latte (only comes iced), which had subtle floral notes and a mild citrus flavor. It was delicious. I wish it came hot, but that is just preference. A great local spot! I will continue to come back if I am in the area.
