Cold Stone staff did not ask me if I wanted a lid, but every time I am here, staff always asked me. I have been ordering the Oreo layered sundae whilst Gavin enjoys his cotton candy flavored ice cream. I've had their chocolate and peanut butter, rocky road, brownie ice cream, even bought an ice cream cake here once. I have not had a bad experience here. Pretty bad customer service here. Arrived at 9:01 and was told they were closed when on Google it said 10:00. I told the employee that I had driven from a ways away under the impression that it closed at 10. She literally laughed under her breath, turned away and kept scrolling on her phone. They let you sample the ice cream and many times it's more then once! So they're very patient with those indecisive customers haha. They have a 24 hour policy when it comes to custom ordered cakes, but if time becomes an issue, they also have a freezer filled with cakes ready to be bought! The cakes in this specific location, in my opinion, are very very neat and well decorated. You may have a message written on it right away and free of charge too (I mention that because I know some places charge for writing.) Numbered and regular candles are available as well. This Baskin Robbins has indoor AND outdoor seating, so it's nice to enjoy an ice cream cone outside on a sunny day. Everytime I do come here it's for a new flavor that they come up with. The last time I actually came here was last year for their MIB flavor of the month, which was soo good, they need to bring that flavor back. I see commercials for this new flavor they had, Jamoca heath. Oh man was it goooood. I love this flavor of this month. It has bits of pieces of Heath bar, and it goes very well in a waffle cone. This location gets busy or so it seems. Their register is almost by the door so people wait in line and it goes all the way outside instead of the line being inside because the place is narrow and they have tables and there is no where to stand but enough room to walk around to see what flavor ice cream you want. The issue I have with this Baskin Robbins in particular is that the hand packed pints are always filled to a different capacity. Half the time, they do not pack the ice cream down, so you don't get a full pint. The last time I went, mine weighed 3 ounces less than my husbands and had large empty areas in the ice cream. I started weighing it when I noticed an obvious difference between 2 pints. Not happy about this at all. We are now going to the one on Brahnam next to Safeway. My bf and I recently went here for the first time and it was family scoop night on Tuesday (5pm-10pm) which was awesome because the price was cheaper! The people are nice and they're really attentive to your needs. The icecream are pretty good! However, I have two problems. 1) The shop is way too small and there are barely any available seats to sit on so a lot of people ended up standing and blocking the refrigerator and all the icecream! 2) My boyfriend ordered a strawberry cheesecake flavored icecream and there was a strand hair in it... I got a scoop of quarterback crunch and the boo got two scoops of wild n reckless. My quarterback crunch had the tastes of old stale freezer burn ice cream. I threw it away immediately. Too bad I was no longer in the area to go get a new one. The crunch in ice cream was no longer good to eat. I am so disappointed, but happy that is was on sale and I did not pay regular price for it! The staff needs to check on the ice cream because I probably won't be back for a while. The waffle cone I got was soggy and did not taste fresh. For those who are thinking of having to need for a cake, ice-cream cake at Baskin Robbins is the best. Hehe I ordered a double sheet they made sure that the theme could be spanned across the ice cream cake. Calling their decorator and assuring us that this could be done didn't make for sparse, oddly proportional decoration. It turned out beautifully! I went with their classic chocolate and cookies and cream ice cream cake and everyone was very happy. The frosting wasn't too sweet and there was a good even layer of cake and ice cream. Hold over time was a good fifteen minutes before we started to seen any real melting action occur. I appreciate the staff giving me and my friends that info so we could plan our trip accordingly. Not: when buying an ice cream cake of such size, be sure to let it sit out for several minutes so you don't put in too much effort cutting it as I did. read more

So after 37 years of never having baskin Robbins, my wife and I decided to give it a whirl, craving some ice cream after a quick dinner in the area. Now I understand why I don't go. Let's start with the generic stuff - ice cream flavors are the 31 most boring flavors possible, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised with a mass market generic ice shop. That would be made it at least a three. One made it worse, is that I got the wrong flavor (wanted mocha almond fudge and got mocha) - one bite into my ice cream I noticed it was missing the "almond fudge". When I expressed my disappointment to the folks behind the counter he looked at me and said, "you said the coffee one, I thought you meant just mocha." First things first, the only coffee flavor I tried was the mocha almond fudge. So if I ordered a flavor that doesn't exist in coffee, shouldn't you either a) clarify or b) make the right leap that it's probably the flavor I tried, not the one I didn't? Regardless, I said, no it wasn't. At no point does he offer to remake my "small" ice cream with the flavor I really wanted. This place reinforced why I have never been and why I'll never go back.
