Baskin-Robbins saved our day! Icing on the cake is our usual go-to, but apparently they were unable to manage the recent storms and never contacted us about the cake that we ordered. On a whim, the night before our daughter's birthday party, we reached out to Baskin-Robbins. Given the short notice, they were unable to customize the cake, of course, but were able to write happy birthday and address it to our daughter. The cakes are not cheap, however, they taste awesome. And, who doesn't like an ice cream cake? It turned out to be a hit at our daughter's third birthday party. The sales clerk told us that it would not last longer than 10 minutes out of the freezer, but for us, it lasted probably around half an hour or more outside of the freezer. This location satisfies every need we've ever had when it comes to a fun ice cream outing. As of 9/15/22, it appears they have adequate staffing since there were multiple (very helpful) people behind the counter. This place is immaculate when it comes to cleanliness. It's been years since I've been to Baskin Robbins; a friend and I went to celebrate a birthday. The ice cream was standard, and hasn't changed since I was a little girl. However, there is much better ice cream available now and gelato is even better. But, the main reason, I am writing this review is due to the experience we had. Upon entering, a young male and female, behind the counter were talking behind the counter. And when they were not talking and flirting with each other, they were on their phones. All awhile, we were the only customers, and the place was so dirty. All of the seating and tables were dirty, not just 1 or 2, all of them. I had to pick one to be able to sit down, so I had to use a napkin to clean the benches and tables to even sit. I would have left or have eaten in the car, but my friend really wanted to sit and have ice cream together. In addition, I was shocked by the attire of the female worker. She was wearing super short shorts like "Daisy Dukes". I think it is fine for females to wear shorts and a Baskin Robbins shirt in an ice cream shop, but this was entirely unprofessional. There was an older woman in the back; I don't know if she was the owner or the cake decorator, but she said nothing to them. If you are the owner, please train your employees to look and act professionally and keep them busy by cleaning the store. Have always had a great experience here. Ordered a cake, per request of 12 year old birthday boy, and was disappointed that all the frosting was whipped cream. We've ordered many cakes, for many different occasions, because Baskin Robbins ice cream cake is top tier (duh!) but also because we love the buttercream frosting. Turns out, the decorator at this location prefers to decorate with whipped cream. I wasn't aware that this location no longer used the buttercream, or I would have ordered from a different location. We walked into this BR location at around 9:35 PM on a Tuesday night, and knew we had more than enough time to place our order without forcing anyone to stay a minute passed closing. To our dismay, we were treated rudely and were given attitude the entire time we were there. From a quality perspective, the ice cream at BR will always be solid no matter where you go. That said, it is pretty hard to ruin one's experience unless you get bad service. We were actually celebrating a birthday, and Mimi who helped our entire party managed to treat everyone that ordered with rudeness and major attitude. Someone from our party actually asked Mimi why she was being so rude to our party, and she responded with, "It is almost 10:00 PM!" If orders need to be placed 30 minutes prior to closing, please post signs to let customers know of this new rule. Otherwise, rudeness and major tude are unacceptable at any BR prior to closing.
