Had a great experience this morning. The young lady that helped us was so nice and very knowledgeable. She gave us samples for the road. We will be back soon!

This is a 1.005 lb retail custom mix box.

I came in on Friday, Oct 18th at around 1 PM and was helped by Athena. Athena helped by: -A friendly greeting and a sample. -Asked what chocolate(s) that I preferred. -Put together a box for me. -All while answering questions. -Lastly, I received a few samples for the road. Excellent customer service and experience!

Arrived at 7:30pm on a Wednesday to see this. Why do you need a 15 minute break 30 minutes before the store closes? Such a waste of time...

Done with these overrated slouches. I was in a rush to buy a chocolate box as gift half an hour before store's closing time and was met with the sign "sorry on a break"! Waited 15 mins for someone to reopen the store and she took her sweet time for another 9 minutes to take care of the customer ahead of me. I won't waste time ever again waiting on these guys. They have no sense of time.

Things that I liked when I stopped by today... The older lady who helped us was super nice. She offered to gift wrap the boxes that we bought...for free. Nice perk! She gave us free samples as well. Not the world's best candy but they certainly have a good formula.

They gave me a box that was dirty. Literally stained with funk.

If I could give zero stars I would. Walked in and there was a couple infront of me. Girl working said I can help who is next. They were not ready and asked me if I wanted to be helped. I walked to the display, girl turned back and made 9 boxes before I said I wanted to be helped. She turned around and said some bs about being "spaced out". Bull. I ordered a pound of candy. She put puts it in a paper bag. I am like wtf this is a holiday gift dont put $32 in candy in a effing paper bag. Iask for a box like the other employee working is putting orders smaller than mine in. No joke. Takes 5 mins to get it boxed (other employee helps 3 other people in this time. Box is ripped, no stickers and literally dirty (see pics). Didn't notice untill a few mins after while walking to exit the mall. Walk back and they are closed when I get back. Have to tap on window to ask to other to get me new box cause they gave me one that looked like a football player punted it. Other employee said "dont yell or complain". She reboxes it, stickers it and condescendinly says "you want to open it to check if it's ok". I paid 32 bucks for a box that was dirty, ripped and not taped (also this was LITERALLY 2 days before xmas). It wasnt one that was missing stuff so the comment was back handed. So if you want to deal with employees that pay no attention to customers and are condescending when they make a mistake than your narcissistic butt should come to this location. Oh, everyone else got a sample. I'll let you guess who didn't. This guy!

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2017 See's Candies has reopened in Westfield Oakridge Mall in the same exact location that it was in previously (see photo of my receipt which was taken today on 07/20/17). After five years of being gone from the mall it has finally returned : ) This is a great addition to the mall. They have a great selection of chocolates, truffles, lollipops, sugar free candies - such as sugar free peanut brittle, sugar free chocolate bars, sugar free chocolate covered almonds, seasonal candies for every major holiday, their signature truffles, the list is endless. Came here today and purchased two boxes of lollipops and one box of chocolates. The entire shop is clean and neatly organized. See's chocolates are made with Guittard and if you're a chocoholic like myself you know that Guittard is the best. Guittard was founded in 1868 and their quality is exceptional. This will be my go to spot for chocolates and candies that I purchase for family and friends. Noelle's Notes See's Candies has reopened as of July 2017 Great selection of fresh candies Good customer service Free samples

A pricey little box, but for this quality, it's to be expected. I sampled Vietnamese coffee and raspberry yuzu. I much preferred the tartness of the raspberry yuzu. The Vietnamese coffee was more on the dense and darker side which I wasn't really feeling. I ended up getting a custom 6-piece box: raspberry yuzu (x2), rose water saffron (x2), and sesame praline (x2). The raspberry yuzu was extra yummy with the chocolate this time. The bitterness and tartness went well together. The sesame praline was interesting. The filling had a more crispy and gritty texture as a result from what appears to be sugar crystals. The sesame was nicely incorporated so that it wasn't overpowering. I really liked it. The rose water saffron was interesting. It definitely had floral and earthy notes. This is among their most popular flavors, but it just wasn't for me unfortunately. It slightly crossed the floral soap threshold for my taste buds. No matter, I know I will be back for the raspberry yuzu and sesame praline someday, and I hope to try other unique flavors they have as well.

I ordered my favorite, dark chocolate almond clusters, as well as English toffee, chocolate peanut clusters, almond bark, and chocolate hazelnuts. It was delivered quickly and everything was nicely individually packaged. The two squares of English toffee I ordered were like two bricks. Massive and covered in powdery almond pieces. They tasted good, but were too hard and thick. I prefer smaller pieces of toffee rolled in larger pieces of almond. I wasn't too impressed with the almond clusters or bark, either. It tasted okay and had lots of almonds in each bite, but the dark chocolate was overly sweet and tasted like the type of chocolate used in grocery store candy bars, even though they make it right there. The dark chocolate peanut clusters were the best item. They had a wonderful touch of salt that was so delicious. I would definitely go back for more of those. Next time, I'd like to try a caramel apple and chocolate dipped strawberries. Both look scrumptious on their website.
