I learned about Five Below several days ago when I saw someone with an adorable purse charm who said she got it there. It was a fluffy little monster she made into a charm with a kilt pin, and I wanted to see if I could find one, so I stopped in there this morning. Five Below is like a dollar store, but most items are five dollars and below. They have lots of toys, craft supplies, beauty products, kids clothes, and candy. Their demographic is teens and tweens. It was crowded with families and kids when I arrived. The store had lots of Easter items near the entrance, as well as toys. I walked quickly around the store, checking out what they had to offer. I didn't see the fluffy monsters. The candy section was huge and they had a good selection. I picked up a few of the Ghirardelli dark chocolate bars I like to keep in the freezer and some Pocky Sticks. I meant to buy a bag of strawberry KitKats but got distracted and forgot. On the very last aisle I found some of the monsters I was looking for, but they didn't have the specific one I wanted. That's okay, I'll buy it on eBay. I'm not sure I'll be back to Five Below since it doesn't offer much for me. read more

Since we were close by, we stoped to look around. I saw an add advertising clothing hangers, which I needed. We looked through the whole store and couldn't find any. We tried to ask for help but there were no employees around. I did get a few hand sanitizers. At the self checkout there was one employee that had no clue if they had clothing hangers. Why advertise items you don't have in the store? I ended up ordering some on Amazon. read more

I stop by on my breaks to grab my 2 little girls goodies, but was told if they are not with me, other parents and kids can jump in front of me, 3 older teen girls that drove themselves were even told to jump in front of me. Not only me, but another mom obviously in scrubs so on her break too were pushed out. One of my girls birthday is in 17 days, wanted to get her a giant dumpling, but missed it because all kids & parents grabbed them that were allowed to jump in front of us. I live the limits, but not the allowed cutting. Sorry some of us work and can't sleep in & wake up late with our kids to hunt. I had a great experience at Five Below on Cottle Ave thanks to Ross Cem. He was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient. The customer in front of me was honestly very demanding and had Ross helping her for nearly 10 minutes, but he stayed calm, polite, and smiling the entire time never once showing irritation. He acknowledged me with a "I'll be with you in a moment" look, which I appreciated. When it was my turn, he apologized, even though he had nothing to apologize for. It took me years before I came into this store, but when I finally came in I was kicking myself for waiting so long. They have it all! Snacks, toys, drinks, clothing, gadgets, etc..... Now, I frequent Five Below for the candy section. Their selection is pretty consistent and I love that. They are also a great spot to hit up for travel sunglasses. I like to get cheap sunglasses when I go on trips. That way, if I lose them during vacation activities, I don't have to be sad about wasting a bunch of money. Ha! I hate coming here. I come here before they open to try to get stuff before it sells out and I'm not talking about the squishy stuff that everyone wants. I came here for a five below tent that I know I saw before and just didn't get it because I didn't need it and then when I needed it and come in the morning early nothing's restocked. INSIDE is like an elevated Dollar Tree store. This was my first time in one of these stores. I had to stop myself from buying a bunch of stuff that looked cool! I ended up buying some wrist weights that I use on my ankles instead. Some Ferrero Rocher chocolate bars, mints, and some other random workout items. I posted this directly on google, but im gonna post this review again because i am so upauled. Absolutely unacceptable, unhygienic and disgusting, I will be boycotting this location!!! I asked to use the womens restroom and there was fecal matter on the wall next to the toilet and absolutely no running water to wash my hands, there was only soap. I didnt take a picture because first of all nobody wants to see that kinda shit and also because i didnt want my phone to get dirty and yes i had to go #2 too to be blunt and no i did not touch anything, i used a wadded up piece of tissue to touch the door handle. They shouldve put up a not in service sign for that restroom if that was the case. Luckily the lady at the self check out has some sanitizer. read more

This was a fun experience to be had for sure! They opened this up a while back, and I've been wanting to shop here for the longest time, but I never had an opportunity to do so. Recently, my husband and I had some time after shopping at target and because it's in the same shopping Center we decided to come here real quick. Upon walking in, there's immediately merchandise right there maybe 3 feet away from the door. I have never really looked into what sort of place this is so I really didn't know what to expect in regards to what the name meant, but I was able to confirm upon looking at the prices. Pretty much everything in here is five dollars or below, for the most part, things are marked on what their prices are, and they are sometimes these random Prices that you wouldn't normally see in big retail stores but it's interesting because it made me think that I was spending less or that this business was being more honest in the fact that they had these odd prices. When I say odd prices, I just mean like I would see an item, and instead of being marked as $3.99 or $3.50, you would see the item marked as $3.75. My husband and I walked around the entire store and we kind of had to hurry because apparently we did go there closer to closing time, but we still enjoyed seeing everything that they had to offer. A lot of what we saw you can find at like the dollar store, or in more niche mom and Pop shops. There was quite a bit there that I wouldn't find in target or Walmart so it's an interesting contrast to the usual stores we frequent. Towards the back, I noticed larger items at different prices that are higher than five dollars but there was nothing that made me think "that's too much". My husband and I actually ended up getting quite a hall from here, even though we didn't really anticipate shopping, but we found quite a bit that we were interested in and we thought our kids would be interested in as well. They did have some dog toys, they have regular toys, they have some clothing items in the back right, they have cosmetics And holiday stuff, they have candies and a little bit of prepackaged foods, there's some fun entertainment items in the back left, all around. It was a very diverse selection, and it was enjoyable just to walk around and see everything. When we were done shopping, we walked to the front and realize that there was actually no teller to go to, it's all self check out. They do have an employee there that immediately comes over if you are experiencing any issue whatsoever, we did actually scan something twice by accident so as soon as we looked up, he made eye contact and he came right over. I think the prices overall are very reasonable, there's some things that aren't super cheap, you would probably see it at other locations and I think the price was relatively the same, but there's other things here that you could find, and be surprised that it's located here at a reasonable or much cheaper cost For those who are into anime, because I am, I did actually find a decent anime inspired selection here. I got a couple jujutsu Kaisen bobble heads, and they had various other items, but I was really focused on the jujitsu ones. Overall, I think the prices are reasonable, the selection is great, and I would recommend coming here if you're trying to find some every day items or even gifts for others this holiday season, but not trying to break the bank. read more

I love this store! So glad I don't have to go to SoCal for it. This is a collector's item's dream for $5 or less. This store is fun and has unique items. A hot and new store in the area. The unit has been vacant for some time. During the holidays, Spirit Halloween would occupy the space. Although it is Five Below, but many of the items are above Five. They have a decent selection of accessories for technical devices. I bought a Type C - 10 feet silver cable for my MacBook Air for $5.95. Can't wait until they get more accessories in. The store is new and shelves are not stocked to the brim yet. I believe with time, the store will receive more inventory. For those Daiso and Dollar store shoppers, Five Below might be another avenue to explore and have fun with. Give it a shot. Pay them a visit and see how you like it. read more

I stopped in to Five Below over the past weekend to check out their new store. The family wanted to see the Knick knacks because they have a variety of products. The store has a good quantity of different items like sporting equipment, candy, and electronics, but clothing area was a little scarce. We liked one of the designs of the shirts for $5, but the last one of that pattern was not in good shape. The store is brightly lit and most things were neatly in their place. We ended up picking up a few things and tried the self check out machine. I tried the Venmo pay option, but couldn't get it to work. The cashier attendant moved me to another self check out machine because she thinks it should work, but in the end it did not. I ended up paying with credit card which was fine. Maybe they will have a different variety of stuff later and we will come back to check out the new goodies. read more

This business is a complete disaster. It is extremely disorganized with products everywhere and no one caring. No employees reorganizing and putting stuff back. Product inventory is non existent. What you see on the website is not even close to what they have in store. You might as well just order online because you won't find it in the mess or they don't stock it in the store. If I could give 0 stars I would! The associates are very helpful, but the manager Maggie is horrible. When I went shopping there, I seen her tell a young associate to go do some tasks assuming the manager would assist her, however, she went to the back office and never came out to assist her associate. I also heard her gossiping about other employees and yelling at an associate about bagging even if the customer does not want a bag and to make sure on the feedback after paying to put 5 stars if the customer does not do the feedback. I shop at this five below here and there I stopped in yesterday to browse around, knowing the store and what I was looking for was in the back where the larger items would be as I'm looking for items to decorate with (more like shelves and decorative teen stuff.) As I was browsing two of your employees very obviously were checking to see if I was stealing. I understand having to do your job but both of them walked up to the aisle I was browsing till they saw me and literally just turned and "looked" at the shelf I was looking at. Tell me you have no cameras without telling me you have no cameras. And it's just obvious and rude. I didn't wanna shop afterwards and bought two small items just to try to appease your employees because I honestly felt hella awkward. Neither of them looked me in my face or even said hi welcome in. But walked up on me twice to check me. Train your employees better honestly. I've worked retail before and there is a more respectful stealthy way to keep eyes out for thieves. I purchased an exercise item called a 2 stepper. I opened it and not what I expected. I went to return it with my receipt and unfortunately the receipt stated that once the item is opened, it cannot be returned. This is ridiculous! How do you know if the item is suitable for your needs if you don't open it to try. Cautioned to everyone that before you open anything you purchase from this store or is exactly what you want. Before I purchased the item I ask a sales person if I can return it if it doesn't work for me . All she said yes you can (but failed to mention that once opened can't be returned) and I have 14 days . So Please Please be careful. I don't think I will ever shop here again read more

Came here recently after the hubz and I saw they officially were open. We were excited for the new store since we heard about it from some friends. Upon walking in the store it appears more open and bright. They have lots of interesting little toys and crafts. The tech section was full of lots of RGB products. Their clothing area was a graveyard. Hardly any shirts and most of the clothes were for a size small. They did have a wide selection of candy. Overall I would say this place reminds me of an American Daiso. Some products are great especially for the price, and others are just gimmicks. I definitely plan on coming back once they are more settled and see what merchandise they carry throughout the year. read more

This is definitely one of that saddest Five Below locations that I have been to in a while. I understand that they are fairly new to the area, so its understandable that they are working through their minor issues still, but to be open to the public completely and still have so much empty space on the shelves, doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I would have preferred it more if they would have took the necessary time to make sure they were operating at 100% before opening to the public. there was a line to get in as the store didn't open on time and when the doors open the customers screamed with glee. one lady even came all the way from Modesto, ca to be there. At first I thought the people were there for a job fair. I went inside and those customers were going crazy running for shopping carts and jamming the small aisles to scoop up t-shirts, anime items, snack foods, Halloween decorations, cell phone accessories, you name it. one lady went crazy spraying perfumes. myself, I came away with 3 shirts featuring hello kitty, Jurassic park and Ghostbusters. they had Beetlejuice too but the design looked smeared. snagged some soda hi chew for the win and a few books. cool store. was mainly a self check out system. read more

It is almost like Dollar Tree but it's $five dollars to below. They have awesome stuff to shop. I meant everything. Toys to clothes to posters to techs. I like this store. Some are not in stock. All you have to ask the staff for it. I suggest you NOT to shop online. They will refuse to refunds your shipping costs that you paid for. They took advantage of it. Only your items that's it. The company keep your shipping costs money. smh. On their website they did mention this, So do avoid shopping online!! Go in person! You'll find lot of fun stuff there. They have great prices and a great selection to buy from but the only thing that bothers me is that they force us to give them a 10 on the rating scale when we have to pay, one of the workers came up to my machine when i was checking and gave himself a 10 on the scale and didn't let me choose! A couple days ago when I walked into the store, I see baskets EVERYWHERE. The store manager shows she is incapable of not cleaning up the store. Five Below has unwrapped items placed randomly throughout the building. As I was checking out, I asked Maggie, the store manager, for help. She responded in a distance shouting back at me.
