SAVERS PRICES THIS NON AUTHENTICATED WATCH FOR ALMOST 3k. Savers stealing poor people's money.
Alex C.

Lol i have no idea what type of education savers taught their employee but this watch was priced for almost 3k with no authentication. Employee who priced did not say anything how she got the price or if it's real.

Sony CRT that could be sold, but instead will end up in a landfill.
Robert C.

I've stopped by a few times since my last review, every time just a huge disappointment. The store has a funk, they're still splitting up items that should stay together and since getting self checkout has cut down on the number of people helping in the store. Compared to other savers in the area this one is a travesty of things randomly shoved on shelves, clothes that are not washed prior to going on the floor and items being sold at eBay prices.

A $4 sheet!

Did not venture inside the store, but dropping off for donations was easy peasy. Was also given a 20% coupon for in store purchases.

Nope :// but you can exchange items within the next 10 days. They do no accept returns only exchanges

Do they take futon bed?

I believe they will, but they aren't taking any donations right now.

Are the prices very high or mediocre?

Prices are way too high for used merchandise, most of which belongs in the trash.

IMHO Interesting…read moreplace. Finally got a chance to check it out after reading about it. I'd read that it is really cramped and unorganized. I found that there was enough room to move about and aisles were clear. Yes, product is stacked high but not dangerous to navigate. There was one gentleman working, and we said hello. He said if we had any questions, to just ask. We had no idea what to expect or what we were looking for. You really have to take the time to slowly walk around and look high and low. I suppose you can find great bargains if you know your prices and are willing to spend some time there. They had tons of bedding, kitchen appliances, light bulbs and fixtures, huge rugs, weighted blankets, shoes, Water Piks, name brand luggage, and a ton of clothing on racks and some piled to be picked through, plus a bunch of other stuff. I even found some packages of pepperoni, but they were just thrown on a shelf. I guess they're shelf stable... All of these items are close-outs or returned to Costco, or just out-of-season (like the Christmas trees and wrapping paper I found.) If you like going on a treasure hunt, this is your place! I'm sure I'll go back, one day...

Went thrifting this afternoon and my first stop was Black and Brown. I'd never been there before…read moreand wasn't sure what to expect. Wow, what an amazing store. They mainly sell vintage and modern secondhand clothes, bags, and shoes for women and men, but they also have new pottery from a designer called Familiar. The store is spacious and carefully curated. There is no thrift shop smell and it looks more like a cute boutique than a secondhand store. You can sell your clothes there, too. There are two floors of women's clothes and a separate men's shop across a little courtyard in the back. Most of the customers when I was there were young adults of both sexes. The store was busy on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Fortunately, they have a dedicated parking lot behind the shop with plenty of spaces. The staff welcomed me immediately when I walked in. I was interested in looking at purses and they had quite a few vintage and newer ones from designers like Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Dooney & Bourke. I didn't buy any, but enjoyed checking out what they had to offer. I didn't pay too much attention to the clothes, except to notice that women's pant sizes on the second floor only seemed to go up to size 11/12. If they had bigger sizes, I didn't see them. Overall, I was impressed with Black and Brown and would like to go back.

It took some time to find items that interested me as I looked through the entire store (two floors for women and one for men). Some items were over priced but you can find some good gems here. IMHO Today's Black…read moreFriday deal was 40% off on donated goods! We weren't sure which items would be considered donated, but we figured we'd find out if and when we found a "treasure" to take home. I found a box of picture hangers but there was no price on it! This happens way too often here, unfortunately. It wouldn't hurt to ask at the register, so I held onto it. My husband found a bag of 12 pairs of work gloves for $5. He grabbed two different bags. Before I could even ask at the register, the friendly cashier had already inputted $5 for the box of picture hangers! That was the most I was willing to pay, so I was very happy. With the added work gloves, and minus 40% off the total, we got a great Black Friday deal!!!

Death Restore Honor…read more One of three Restore locations in the Bay Area (Oakland & Concord) that benefit Habitat for Humanity's mission of building homes throughout the US and the world. The Good: *Huge selection of used furniture *Used appliances like refrigerators *Friendly service *Also sell lots of brand-new and used construction supplies like paint, tape, light bulbs, and other miscellaneous stuff donated by contractors who had purchased too much of one thing or another for their project(s). *Rewards program *Accept CashApp, as well as CCs *Keep an eye out for 50%off items The Meh: *No delivery options available *No clothes, books, or kitchen stuff like a traditional thrift store just furniture and construction supplies. *Area is a little sus, so make sure to lock your car. The Ugly: *We stopped at another Thrift store beforehand, and Restore's prices are a bit higher than the average. Conclusion: Great place to get slightly used furniture at decent prices and help keep more stuff out of the landfills.

This place is huge,…read morewith plenty of parking, although parking fees have gone up $10 on Saturdays and $20 on Sundays. From what I understand, they're open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are lots of food trucks and plenty of seating throughout the market. It can get pretty crowded at times, especially on Sundays, but overall it's manageable. The restrooms have always been clean whenever we've visited, and there are ATMs available on site. You can find almost anything here clothes, household items, snacks, and more making it a fun place to spend a few hours with family. There's also a large produce section with a bakery right in the center, which gets very busy but is worth checking out. Overall, it's a lively spot with plenty to see and do, making it a great place to spend time with family if you don't mind the crowds. The value is decent if you plan to spend a few hours browsing, grabbing a bite, or making some purchases, though the high weekend parking fees do bring it down. One thing to note: we've occasionally encountered teens and sometimes older men approaching people asking for money, claiming they need it for food. Later, we've seen them gathered in small groups. Just something to be aware of stay alert and mindful of your surroundings.

Absolute gem of a thrift shop!…read more Well curated and the volunteers went out of their way to help me navigate the giant hula hoops I discovered. The prices are beyond great if you love vintage clothing and know fabrics. I may have found my favorite dress of all time here for a whopping $14 (because it's a two piece set of decorative vintage fabric) it was in the premium section and the volunteers were adorable making sure I knew why it was priced this way. (I couldn't afford a yard of this fabric retail I'm giddy about a vintage two piece set that I can customize). To then discover that the proceeds go to support women's scholarships was the ultimate bonus! My grand total for everything was $54 and I happily gave my change to the donation bucket by the register. If you are in the area and love unique vintage items this is a must explore. I had to resist the urge to buy several of the tea cup collections. I'm a sucker for vintage tea sets and they have several that are stunning! Great shop, fantastic volunteers who are donating their time to support a wonderful cause.
