Garden Owls - $23.99

"Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination."― Oscar Wilde I might've been a little hard on this place at the outset, but after coming here off-and-on again over the past few years I've kinda grown to like this place. Kinda like how one grows to love a tick bite, but love is love. Quick refresher, this place essentially gets returned and out-of-season Costco items and sells them at a (sometimes) deep discount. Basically, if Costco sells it, it just might be here. Here's a Good, Bad & Ugly: The Good: -They have a great selection of clothes for outstanding prices. I've picked up Lucky®, Calvin Klein® and Buffalo® brand jeans for well-below $20. The Kirkland™ brand can be had for less than $10. Occasionally they'll have additional 20%-off clothing but it's not always advertised. -I like the guy who's been running the front as of late. He's nice and will haggle with you and give you additional discounts if one asks, of course. -Large selection of stuff from food and clothing, to TVs and housewares. You kinda need to come in often to checkout the selection. The Bad -Store is still terribly organized and just way too full of stuff. Walking around is a bit of a shit show―esp if there's other patrons about. -The prices aren't always that much cheaper than Costco. So be aware of how much things actually cost. -Avoid buying electronics; especially if they appear to have been opened. They do give a 30day warranty on that stuff, but I'd avoid it in general personally. Too many bad experiences... The Ugly -This place can be disgustingly hot in the summer and bitterly cold in the winter, due to it being a warehouse. Overall a fun place to shop for bargains and treasure hunt. And don't be afraid to ask for additional discounts if you see any little bit of damage; they'll almost always do 10%.

REVIEWER # 17 Talking about a bargain steal deal!? I found a place where you can literally spend a day in here and come out with great deals! Costless Brands and I go way back in relationship. I knew this store when it was called HD Electronics and although they have a name change they are still the same store they just got 10x better. The owners of this store are Vinh and his wife and I have to say, anyway possible I can support them I will! These people are so down to earth and amazing! They really care about making their customers happy and it definitely shows. They have awesome workers who truly love the people and it's such a welcoming place to come in to. The location can be hard to find but its right across the street from the fairgrounds. Located in a warehouse with tons of stuff! Costless brands sales mostly Costco items that has been not open or bought, returned, damaged and unwanted items. We all know that prices at Costco can be sometimes shocking to look at but once Costless Brands has their hands on the item the prices drop dramatically. Prices range from less than $7 all the way to no more than $60. The sale canned and boxed foods, TV, Bikes, Home Décor, clothing and Kitchen items. I recently bought a Bike here and the originally price at Costco was $700 and Costless Brands sold it for $125 to me! I can't beat that! If you are in Union City, they also have a location there. I tend to go to the Union City location more than this one because its closer to my house but both locations are great but sale different items at different times and I believe this is because each Costco is different. Items here do not last long so you have to come routinely to be able to find some good deals. There are weekends where I walk out empty handed and times where I walk out spending tons of money. But this place is my favorite way to begin my weekend! I would recommend you check this place out as I truly believe you will find some great deals that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere! Costless was fun to go through for bargains. From clothes , toys, to tool boxes. If you like bargain hunting come check it out.

Bargain hunting! Oh yea. What is it trying to save here and there looking for a good deal on quality items? Well if you like new items but don't want to pay retail come check out cost less. I got a stainless steel tool box for under 300. A carhart work jacket for 18. A kids bike helmet for 9. Chevron fuel injector additive 1.99 3 pack of led flash lights 11 My mom a new full length winter coat 35 Common and see for your self. Good stuff like under armor, calvin Klein, lucky, and more stuff.

Lots of things to buy for less. You need patience.. and a good eye to shop.

Loved this place. You have to go see for yourself. Great deals but if you dig to look for stuff, you might end up with merchandise on the floor. So worth it tho. Go see.

Every thing is piled up unorganized. Of course they are all returns from Costco. Can't tell if items work or not.

Prices are good and selection is extensive for a clearance retailer. Worth a visit to see their inventory. Many items come from Costco.

I learned about Five Below several days ago when I saw someone with an adorable purse charm who…read moresaid she got it there. It was a fluffy little monster she made into a charm with a kilt pin, and I wanted to see if I could find one, so I stopped in there this morning. Five Below is like a dollar store, but most items are five dollars and below. They have lots of toys, craft supplies, beauty products, kids clothes, and candy. Their demographic is teens and tweens. It was crowded with families and kids when I arrived. The store had lots of Easter items near the entrance, as well as toys. I walked quickly around the store, checking out what they had to offer. I didn't see the fluffy monsters. The candy section was huge and they had a good selection. I picked up a few of the Ghirardelli dark chocolate bars I like to keep in the freezer and some Pocky Sticks. I meant to buy a bag of strawberry KitKats but got distracted and forgot. On the very last aisle I found some of the monsters I was looking for, but they didn't have the specific one I wanted. That's okay, I'll buy it on eBay. I'm not sure I'll be back to Five Below since it doesn't offer much for me.

Since we were close by, we stoped to look around. I saw an add advertising clothing hangers, which…read moreI needed. We looked through the whole store and couldn't find any. We tried to ask for help but there were no employees around. I did get a few hand sanitizers. At the self checkout there was one employee that had no clue if they had clothing hangers. Why advertise items you don't have in the store? I ended up ordering some on Amazon.

Discount Located at…read morethe former OfficeMax and (seasonally) Spirit, in-between the Home Depot & Target at The Plant Shopping Center. For those who've never been, dd's is like a ghetto version of TJ Maxx, with deeply discounted (hence "dd") discontinued and seasonal merchandise. Current hours (8/1/25): Friday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Sunday: 9:30 AM - 9:30 PM The Good: *Discounted clothes and shoes *Small selection of toys *Kitchen stuff *Small selection of food and drinks *Prices seem very reasonable from what I could tell. The Meh: *Currently only open three days a week, per the website. I'm sure this will change as they're still in a soft opening mode. *Not the biggest store The Ugly: *The Plant is not the safest place with lots of low-lifes and crackheads milling about. Basically, lock your car and make sure no valuables are in sight. Conclusion: Interesting place to check out occasionally, as the stock is always changing.

It's honestly nice that this dd's opened up. Ever since the Toys "R" Us went out of business like…read moreeight years ago, that whole area has been a ghost town, and the homeless population really started to take over. I have to say, it's a nice change of pace. Lately, I've started popping in here before I hit up Target, and I've found some surprising stuff. I actually found a doorknob here that Home Depot had for like 3X, and a new hose for the house. My pre-teen daughter has even come around on the clothes, which is a miracle in itself, and she's super excited about the beauty section. My only complaint is that I found a new shirt here for the exact same price as a used one at the thrift store, which felt like a complete foul on my part! But other than that, it's a solid place. They have tons of clothes and a good selection of household items. I hope they stay because they seem new and busy right now, so fingers crossed!
