SAVERS PRICES THIS NON AUTHENTICATED WATCH FOR ALMOST 3k. Savers stealing poor people's money.
Alex C.

Lol i have no idea what type of education savers taught their employee but this watch was priced for almost 3k with no authentication. Employee who priced did not say anything how she got the price or if it's real.

Sony CRT that could be sold, but instead will end up in a landfill.
Robert C.

I've stopped by a few times since my last review, every time just a huge disappointment. The store has a funk, they're still splitting up items that should stay together and since getting self checkout has cut down on the number of people helping in the store. Compared to other savers in the area this one is a travesty of things randomly shoved on shelves, clothes that are not washed prior to going on the floor and items being sold at eBay prices.

A $4 sheet!

I always donate here but one comment said that the workers go through bins before items reach the store is this true?

Nope :// but you can exchange items within the next 10 days. They do no accept returns only exchanges

Do they take futon bed?

I believe they will, but they aren't taking any donations right now.

Are the prices very high or mediocre?

Prices are way too high for used merchandise, most of which belongs in the trash.

Because 82% of their money goes directly to operational aid, 1.64 of the $2 electric toothbrush is going to directly help people. Meanwhile, Savers is for-profit (lame), even though I might go there for the bigger selection of costumes and games. Salvation Army often has less overhead and doesn't make their exclusive items available for auction, so everything from those pacifiers to those brown and yellow boxer shorts are a little cheaper, plus their CEOs make less money. On God. I don't think there's a dedicated drop-off spot in the back, but at least the doors open automatically, so it's easy to carry in those broken VCRs, CD players, landline phones, typewriters, encyclopedias, and Puff Daddy Bad Boy Reunion Tour 2016 shirts.

You enter through the main doors like any other shopper, and the donation area is located to the left. Update --- I saw the reply from the Salvation Army. Just to clarify, I personally visited this store to ask about the donation drop-off location and was told that donations should be dropped off inside the store. It's possible the person at the front desk was not aware of an alternate drop-off area. If there is a designated back-door drop-off location, it would be helpful to direct donors there. This would improve the experience for both donors and customers shopping in the store.

Plenty of shoes, bags, and jewelry, too. They still have lots of vintage items and they didn't seem as overpriced as they did a year ago. Nice sets of dishes, collectibles, milk glass, knick knacks, and books. I found an Eileen Fisher sweater in my size for an excellent price. What a nice surprise. The cashier tipped me off to a second one in green on the rack, but it wasn't my style. I appreciated her thoughtfulness, though.

This is great because, in the past, there were times when there was no one available to open the door for donations due to space constraints. Since employing these helpers, the situation has improved significantly. They do a fantastic job merchandising and often have high-quality items, sometimes even collectibles. Anything they don't take or that we drop off, they send to Savers. They accept new or gently used jewelry, clothes, purses, shoes, decorations, glassware, dishes, vases, books, DVD/CDs and small appliances, but not electronics, curtains, or large furniture. I highly recommend supporting the American Society by donating to the Discovery Store as much as possible; they are a nonprofit, unlike Savers, which is a for-profit business. Parking is super easy. If it's your first time donating at the store, call for the donation hours; they're slightly less hours and entrance than the store hours.

Donations When I did my last drop-off about a week ago, the gentleman running the donation area rushed over to help me with my bags and then gave me a receipt that was already filled out with the date/signature. The entire process took about 30 seconds - easiest donation drop-off ever. Shopping I've found so much great stuff here in almost every department (clothes, furniture, home decor, etc.). It's also more reasonably priced than other thrift stores in the area, and more organized as well. Customer Service The donation drop-off guys are really friendly and efficient - they go out of their way to make it an easy process. The store employees are equally amazing. Every time I go up to the register with a big pile of stuff, I'm apologetic and flustered about how much ringing up they have to do - but they're ALWAYS super nice and helpful. They literally never have a bad attitude or get annoyed, even when I take a bit of time to pack up my items or change my mind last-minute. I also appreciate the fact that they go out of their way to help me organize my stuff so I can get to my car easily - I'm a small person with some big purchases haha, so I really appreciate that extra effort they put in to make my life easier. Truly 10/10 customer service all-around!

Strolled through the woman's clothing and spotted a leopard pattern, it was a new blouse with tags from the Avenue. second find was a dress new with tags. Price was a bit high considering that it's the Goodwill. They were new so in the cart they went. Also found an awesome jumpsuit from Lane Bryant new with tags in a beautiful color. And if you been to Lane Bryant you know their clothing is not cheap. Regular price was over $100.00 and it was only $15.49 great deal. Too bad the fit wasn't right. I should have taken a picture, missed opportunity. Next walked the house wear isle and found a few good items. There wax a good verity of vintage goblets in different colors and styles. Found some milk glass egg holders but they were a bit pricey so I passed and now I wish I would have bought them, ugh. Did get a milk glass goblet and hope to find more in the future for a total of 6. Found a great wire basket with copper handles to hold all my recycle and shopping bags. After a mistake was made with my 10% senior discount (most seniors come to the store on Tuesday for the same reason), Brisa explicitly agreed to rescan my items. I spent time unwrapping everything to make it easier for her, only for her to return with a hostile attitude and refuse to honor the discount because I 'didn't tell her beforehand.' When I held her to her word, she became incredibly rude and even threatened to refuse me service. Ironically, Brisa mentioned she is currently studying Forensics. You would think someone in that field would value facts and integrity, but she completely went back on her word. She certainly has the 'bad cop' interrogation style down - she failed the basic test of honesty, integrity and professional conduct. Truly 'Bad Will' at this store today - 3/10/2026.

Like other local Goodwills, this store has removed all fitting rooms. People are lined up to try things on in front of two mirrors, and then DEFINITELY not taking the time to return unwanted clothes to their correct area, so the store is a complete mess. For example in a section labeled women's size Medium tops, there are probably only 50% M tops. The rest are other sizes, jeans, Men's clothes, etc. I really enjoy thrifting so it's really a shame they can't figure out a solution for fitting rooms - I'll be going to HopeThrift instead from now on.
