Had a great time windowing shopping with a friend! It's a giant store with second floor with lots of home decor from rugs, dining ware, and so much more. It's neat and organized that you can easily get lost in there. The staff were so friendly and approachable when I had questions about finding some items for Christmas! We stopped by TJ Maxx to look around and I found quite a few nice things. They were busy but it wasn't too crazy inside. They have a ton of Christmas and Halloween items in the homegoods section. Upstairs is the TJ Maxx, which is where we did all our shopping today. I found some really nice fall and winter sweaters that are perfect for an evening out and for Christmas and New Year's Eve. My husband found three pairs of comfortable slippers. I was really surprised at the variety of items they had in each department we shopped. The prices were also decent. We decided to checkout on the second floor since the line was short. The associate helping us was so nice and packed all our items so nicely in the one bag I brought with me. TJ Maxx is located in the Almaden Shopping Plaza which has plenty of parking available in this large plaza. My mom wanted to look for some cookware here. This is the first time I've ever shopped at this location. It's pretty jammed packed in here with aisles and merchandise so conveniently close to one another. Though, this location has a 2nd level with mostly clothing & apparel. The checkout reminded me of how Fry's Electronics used to be setup. You enter the checkout line and watch the monitor to see which checkout number station they call you to. Or if you are next in line and the stations in front of you opens up, then you can see the cashier motions to you, then you proceed to that checkout station. read more

I love that the layout separates the HomeGoods section from the clothing and accessories, making it easy to focus on what you came for (and, let's be honest, discover a few things you didn't plan on buying). There's also an upstairs area I haven't explored yet, but even just the main floor is packed with great finds. I rarely walk out empty-handed--more often, I leave with exactly what I was looking for and something unexpected. I think I've been shopping too much. Between not having enough space for more stuff, learning to restrain my spending, and having been in too many stores like TJ Maxx, this store just fills me with ennui. I have reached that certain age when I've purchased most of the things I need so the rest is a few choice items. I tried to spot some bargains, but alas, the TJ Maxx price failed to beat Costco. The kitchen section was nicely stocked. Unfortunately, I had most of these items, some with significantly higher quality. The rest looked like frivolous items that could only be used for one specific reason ( unitaskers). I don't have room in my kitchen for these tchotchkes. The rest of the store was filled to the brim with holiday decorations. There are times and places where I would approve of holiday decorations, but TJ Maxx is not the place. My overall impression was tacky, tacky, tacky. I went to the beauty section, hoping to find something, anything that would attract me. The only thing that met with my approval was the lip balm from Bert's bees. I was hoping to find maybe a shampoo or conditioner from a brand that I liked. No such luck. Don't mistake me, the place was loaded with, well, stuff. But none of it was my go to brands. Checking out the clothing, was an exercise in futility. Once again, none of my go to brands, unexciting selections. They did have a few interesting items, but let's just say that particular style doesn't go with my body. Now I have been in TJ Maxx's where the selection excited me. But they've either managed to hide their stuff from me or they just didn't have my stuff. read more

This is my favorite TJ Maxx. Why? Every time I go it's always well organized and I come across some amazing finds. Whether that be in the accessories or skin care. They have it all. I particularly love gift shopping here. I have found purses here in pristine condition that are 30% of the brand's retail price. Korean skin care products that are 50% or less from retail prices. That being said, you can't come here on a tight time frame. In order to find the good finds, you have to be willing to search through the shelves and racks to find what you are looking for. This was a pretty convenient TjMaxx with lots of different sections. There's many decorations and home items. We have found great deals in terms of decorations, picture frames, organizers, and travel items. You can definitely find yourself roaming every aisle and pretty trying to buy things you didn't originally come for. Plenty of spooky items that I love! I really like their spooky pasta- having cooked it I can say it's absolutely delicious! Tons of Stitch spooky items this year which are ALL adorable. Employees are everywhere stocking shelves and manning registers. Bathrooms are very clean and well stocked. Wide variety as always of kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, pet etc. items. I think for how unique a lot of these items are the prices are worth it. In my opinion it's more about 'do I want to spend the money on this today' VS 'this cost too much'. read more

5/11/25 I visited this TJ Maxx location around 8:30 PM, an hour before their 9:30 PM closing time. Despite still having 30 minutes left to shop, I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable by the staff. Employees repeatedly announced the store closing every few minutes, which is understandable, but the glares and passive-aggressive behavior I received while walking down aisles felt intentionally unwelcoming. What really upset me was when I walked near the fitness section upstairs and two male employees (one with glasses and one with a dress shirt) made loud, pointed comments about how it was "unbelievable" that people shop at night and how customers "can't take a hint" while looking directly at me. It was clearly aimed at me and felt inappropriate and humiliating. I was simply trying to browse within business hours. I usually enjoy shopping here, but this experience left a really bad impression. I hope management addresses this type of behavior and reminds their team that customers are allowed to shop until the store closes. read more

This location has lots of variety for most things and is really well organized. In particular, the toys were all neatly lined up on the shelves and systematically sorted and categorized so that there was practically no need to touch any of it to see the whole inventory. The toy section is huge compared to other locations. The girls' hair accessories were also well stocked. This week, towards the end of August, there were lots of costumes for Halloween. read more

Was making a purchase and cashier, extra tall female ringing my items. Whole this is occurring this extra tall cashier was having a full on conversation with another employee who wore glasses. The conversation had nothing to do with work and more about going out or meeting up with someone. Not one time stopping to wait till our transaction done. I could've rang my own items up. When the extra tall employee was done that is when I got some interaction with " cash or card". Lots of chatter and giggling. Poor customer service. read more

The store selection was good, but the staff and security was terrible. I came in nice an stoned ready to kill time while my partner was at a drs appointment. I was not disheveled, no oversized jackets, pretty well put together. I spent like 15-20 min browsing the first floor, decided to get a cart when I spotted more than a few things I was looking at buying. They dont have a cart carrier on the escalator so I spent another 10 min circling the store looking for the elevator up. Since there was a sign saying for carts to use the elevator but no sign saying where it was. Gave up trying to find a worker to help me after another 10 min since my anxiety was starting to get to me, decided to just ditch the cart and hold my few items and check out the purses upstairs for a bag I have been looking for at other Tj's and Marshall's. I get up stairs and while browsing I noticed a couple coming out of an elevator! So I figured if I take it down I'll know where it is so I can bring a cart and not have to hold my stuff anymore. At this point I could feel workers following me, I could hear management radioing other members saying "right over here" while not very discreetly staring at me and security following me around the entire time. The first tactic they teach for loss prevention is to ask the person of suspicion if they need help. Making presence known is a good starting deterrent. If yall were so worried why didnt you just ask I needed help even once. I clearly looked confused for 30 min circling the same floor. If anyone had offered help to me I would've explained I couldn't find the elevator and saved me almost 30 min of aimless circling and back tracking that looked sus. You have no staff to ask if I need help, but plenty of management whispering about needing to follow me around to protect your expired make up? I found a pair of cute loafers that were still expensive but a good deal and plenty of small gifts I wanted for vday, but ultimately just abandoned my cart and only took 3 out of the cart full of things I wanted to buy down to check out. As I leave the cart, management and security swarm the cart to go through it before I'm even out of earshot or immediate vicinity. I felt so targeted, so obviously unwelcome. I go to multiple TJs all the time and this was the first time I've had such a terrible experience. No one helped, but followed me around everywhere in such an obvious and rude way. Retrain your staff to spot actual LP issues and not someone just enjoying a stoned shopping trip that could have used help finding an elevator that was tucked away with no signage as to were it is. Such a horrible experience for a store that's not exactly high end, staff needs to act their wage. Yall ain't protecting precious gems and luxury items, its overstock out of season items with good discounts, its a name tag not a cape bro. read more

There is a lot of changes in this store recently. Everything is properly arranged and added lots of new stuff. They also opened new check out center on second floor, which means shorter lines. I liked the girl's accessory section with many options for hair bands, perfumes, variety of combs, hair clips and lot more. I usually shop for kids stuff and they have everything from dresses, sippers, new born stuff, car seats, high chairs, swaddle cloths and books. They also have American Princess dresses for girls for just 20$. Whoever wants some good stuff for lesser price, do shopping here you will not regret it. read more

Just warning people about TJ Max's merchandise credit card from here. They issued a card for me in 2019. Says on the card that there's no expiration so I just kept it in my handbag until today. Tried to use it at their sister chain, Marshall's, and they said it's deactivated. The manager at the Marshalls I was shopping at called the card company and they said it was deactivated in 2020!! I knew for sure I was holed up in the house since 2019-2021 due to Covid! So basically, despite the card saying in writing that it won't expire. Apparently, it does!! So Beware folks. Manager at the store can't do anything about a deactivated card. I have to call customer service and deal with corporate. How super sucky is that?!? read more

My mom's favorite place to buy home decor as this store provides such great variety. With the Holidays over with, they're starting to roll out all those Christmas reefs and home decor, which you won't be seeing until the next year approaches. This location is pretty disorganized as it is packed with random items in every isle I feel like. Yeah some isles looked like they all belonged to each other, but I feel like the employees could do a bit of a better job cleaning this place up. They have a second floor, so this TJ maxx is pretty big. Like I said they have such a great selection. Price wise, some things are a bit overpriced, but there were some pretty great deals. read more

If I can give no star, I will do it in a heartbeat. Yesterday, I returned some items. One of them is a diffuser. I used it once but decided to return it for health reasons. The cashier's name is Gabriela. She called another staff named Guadalupe. I understand it was almost 5PM; however, this Guadalupe was so unprofessional & sarcastic, telling me right at my face that the diffuser is used and cannot be returned, while pointing out at their return policy. "This has a strong odor, we can't accept it as a return" except the cans in their aisle actually smelled and were dented and broken and are always like that. The cashiers have a weird cultish attitude where any return is suspect and they have to call over the manager for every single one even though every other TJ Maxx I've ever been to has been polite even when they refuse a return. The attitude they have is that you are dirt, your selections from their merchandise are trash, and the sooner you hand over your money and leave the better. Things are arranged throughout the store as neat as they possibly can be. Of course, once the day winds down, after shoppers have plowed through things, it can get a little bit in disarray. The store is 2 level with housewares, gifts downstairs and clothing upstairs. I like the separation while shopping. There is an escalator or an elevator if you need to take your cart upstairs. There is staff constantly replenishing the shelves, especially during this season. The lines can get long, but, it is run very efficiently with each cashier numbered and an automatic call out once the checker becomes free. It helps keep everyone in one line, until it's time to check out. Located in a a shopping plaza with other shops, See's, Barnes and Noble, Pet smart, Buy Buy Baby, Costco, Trader Joes and a bunch of restaurants, it's a great place to go for one stop shopping. The parking lot is huge with plenty of parking. Definitely my go to place to find something I am looking for or a unique item. read more

Clothing wise this is one of the saddest TJ Maxx's I've ever been to! It's conveniently located on top of HomeGoods, but the selection here is much more sadder! I don't shop at these chains often because it's hard to find the style I like and especially in my size, but from time to time I'll come here with my mother to kill time. I normally don't like coming because although I like the idea of a good treasure hunt, I just don't have time to sift through articles of clothing on end. Although the clothing assortment here is small and rather pathetic, I did however see that they revamped their beauty and personal care aisles and it actually looks organized and more professional now!
