I'd give this store zero stars if I could. The staff in here are rude AF....especially the person working the fitting room during our visit on 4/13/23. She was the worse one. I asked her two questions and each time she gave me a rude response. I felt like I couldn't even ask for help because they acted like they were being bothered. Damn, isn't that their job? Sorry I came in to patronize your store. Anyway...I called the day before to hold two dresses for my daughter and explained that we are over an hour away. I was told by Kim (who was helpful - that one mandatory star is for her) that it was no problem and that they can hold it until 5pm the next day. So we come in the following day and guess what? They put them back on the racks. Thank goodness the sizes my daughter wanted to try on were still in stock otherwise it would have been a waste of time and gas. The store manager needs to give their employees an attitude check and some training in customer service. read more

I came in a few days ago to return a dress I was hesitant about wearing to my brother-in-law's wedding. Before I explain why I'm giving this Windsor location 5 stars, I have to explain what happened when I bought the dress. I purchased the item at the Great Mall location in Milpitas. At the time, I was desperate trying to find anything that would fit nicely and compliment my curves. I liked it but I didn't love it. Before buying the dress, I asked one Windsor associate what the return policy was on this dress and she told me to return within 14 days for a full refund. I went to the front of the store to purchase the dress and confirmed with the cashier what the return policy for the dress. She agreed with what her fellow associate stated earlier, so I purchased the dress as a backup. I continued to shop around for another dress and found something I actually loved from a different dress store. I decided to go to the nearest Windsor location to return the item because it was the most convenient. With that being said, I came in and was immediately greeted with a smile and warm welcome from Abby. She welcomed me in and informed me of the promotions going on within the store. I told her I came to return a dress and she stopped what she was doing to come over and assist me. She asked the usual questions upon returning, asked for my receipt, and stated she could give me store credit and consider the return an exchange. At first, I was confused because I specifically asked twice about the return policy on the dress at the Milpitas location but received a different answer here. So I was a little frustrated to have to hear that I would only be getting an exchange. I wouldn't mind an exchange; however, I'm more of a plus size woman and not all Windsor stores carry my size. Getting an exchange didn't make sense because it limits what I can buy because of my size. Moreover, I felt it was unfair to have to settle for an exchange. I pleaded with Abby and explained to her what the Milpitas associates told me about the return policy. She partnered with her manager, Heather, and she was able to make the final decision. She let me know it would be a one time exception. I was soooooo happy to hear those words!!!! They offered me a full refund. It had something to do with a tag missing from the dress that prompted the misinformation at the Milpitas store. Overall, that's what I call exceptional customer service. Taking all situations case-by-case, hearing me out and giving me the best customer experience. Although I didn't purchase a dress from their location, they were happy to help. Abby and Heather are rockstars to say the least! The Windsor location at Oakridge is in great hands with this duo! read more

One of the best experiences I have had shopping ever! I walked into the store and I was immediately greeted by a worker. She complimented my nails which was very sweet of her. I came in looking for something for a friend's wedding and she was very helpful and actually found me the perfect dress! It was this green satin dress with a slit and it was literally exactly what I was looking for! I didn't get her name but I noticed she had a lot of ear piercings. Months later and I'm still shopping here on the savage DL. I've recently fallen in love with Ellie, one of the managers here. I came in a few weekends ago and she was holding down the whole store by her self. It was impressive to watch and I felt this tingle of pride watching her work that situation. I've come in several times after and she's always helping me zip dresses up, find pieces that flatter my body type and had even gotten me into things I'd never wear but looked great in. I adore her and hope everyone that shops here has gotten to interact with her. I'm really sad to see her go. I'm surprised to see negative reviews for this place. Fortunately, my experience here a few days ago was enjoyable. I was in the mall looking for a Dapper Day at Disneyland outfit. I was getting frustrated with the poor customer service in every store I walked into, as well as the poor selections. I walked past this store, which I had never heard of nor noticed before (I found out later that it's been here for about a year.) A light blue Cinderella-like tulle skirt caught my eye. I walked in and wandered around; an employee named Kia greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I explained to her what the occasion was. She provided some suggestions, and offered to start a fitting room for me. She came back to check in with me and retrieved some different colors and sizes. Overall, I was initially hesitant to buy from here because it seems to be geared towards a younger crowd. Some dresses are very cutesy & would be perfect for a high school prom. However, they do have some contemporary items that could be appealing to a woman in her early-mid 20's. The prices lean toward the expensive end of the spectrum. But the service I received was super helpful. Although they have sales goals, I never felt pressured into buying anything. I ended up buying a crop top for ~$7 and the Cinderella-ish tulle skirt for ~$34. read more

One of the things I most appreciate from a retail store employee is their ability to make every customer feel special - and that is exactly what Haley showed me when visiting Windsor at Oakridge Mall. Haley's personable attitude and focus on my need to find the perfect wedding guest dress was beyond superb. She asked me questions about my style, what look I'm aiming for, what I am comfortable in, and pulled dresses on her own from the floor for me to try on. Haley is a master at her job because two of the dresses she brought me I have already purchased previously, amazing! Haley even waited in the dressing room area so I could come out and model the dresses and gave me honest, sound advice on the fit, color, length, what shoes & accessories to match with, etc. Haley basically acted as my personal stylist putting my stressed and last minute mind at ease by finding me a beautiful outfit. I noticed Haley looked at not only me but each customer walking through the door as an important client and does everything she can to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. Zero Ratings for the Oakridge Mall (San Jose) store. Terrible customer service and return policy for online purchases. It takes almost a week to get the clothes, then couple of days to try and ship back immediately. When talked to an employee in this store, we were assured that if we miss the window we can exchange them only. Went to the store and were confronted by the store manager that refused to do the exchange (brand new with tags). It looks like the manager and employees have different polices or just no training. Especially these days with the Covid situation the return policy needs to be longer. Other stores have at least a 30 day policy. We will skip this store in the future. read more

This store has so many great items and pieces but sometimes the associates are just not the most welcoming. I went in about a week ago shopping for a graduation dress and was grabbing anything I was remotely interested in to try on. While doing that an associate came up to me to check if a tag that was on the floor went to one of my dresses, but instead of asking me, she was touching the dresses I was carrying in my arm... Awkward. Then when she got me a fitting room she made me abide by the item limit, which I have no problem with. Except for the fact that the customer that went in before me was able to bring in as many as she wanted. I work in retail at the same mall and I just found this particular associate's demeanor extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming. Also, to top off the experience, the dress I purchased was damaged and they only gave me a 10% discount and made the item final sale. I then got it home to realize that it has mystery stains on it. So the battle continues as I have to try and return my final sale item because it's unwearble. Overall my experiences here have not been good ones. read more

At first the ladies asked for help and i said no. My fault. It took me another hour to look in other stores before i came back here in desperation. One of the girls (dark skinned, skinny, long black hair) i think she might be a supervisor asked me again if i needed help and she could tell i was frustrated. If you don't mind being threatened by the assistant managers, this is a good place. I was told yesterday I could make a return today. When I asked to return she was mad. They didn't want to give there names so I took a photo and offered mine to them. I think this place needs to replace or retain there staff. Being called a bitch by the assistant in the tan jacket was way to far. It was a return on a $10 item. Why would they go through this much? I will never shop here as well as my family and friends. Monday 09/07/15 2:30pm - I called ahead and asked a worker to put one item on hold, came 2-3 hours later to pick it up and it wasn't even there. -__- I would've gave her a piece of my mind, but was told that her shift was over before I got there. I should've known the dimwit couldn't do her job when she didn't even ask for my name to place the item on hold. I honestly don't know how some people get hired when they can't even do their job right.. One star for the effort that the manager put out to help me search the store. She told me to leave my name and number in case that item gets restocked probably as a nice gesture... I honestly feel she didn't care about the store or customers because she didn't even put out any effort to find out who the employee was who made me waste my time driving all the way there for nothing. Probably asked me to leave my number just to get rid of me. It's funny cause I had to be the one asking her for the stupid post-it, when if her-half ass really gave a shit about an angry customer she would've got to the bottom of it or immediately handed me a pen and paper instead of me having to REMIND her. This place is great! More a boutique feel with a variety of casual, club, and evening attire. I bought two mermaid style gowns for my company holiday party, both made well with a flattering mermaid style cut. One gown was a standard 179.00, and the second was a STEAL for only 39.00 bucks! I half expected the cashier to do a price correction at checkout, but I walked out with two evening gowns for less than 230.00 bucks. Aside from the gowns they carry loads of skirts, jackets, tops, and dresses. Quality is not superb, but the price makes this place a winner. Staff is attentive, but my favorite hands down here is Karen. She is insightful, listens to your needs, and has a great eye for pairing up items for a great look! This place has the worst customer service I ever experienced by far! When I walked in the store no one bothered to greet me or asked me if I needed any help. I finally found some pieces and wanted to try them on at the dressing room. I stood there for 2 minutes waiting for someone to direct me to a room. No one was there so I decided to take a number for my items and go into an empty fitting room. The woman I believe to be the Store Manager wasn't at all nice or friendly. She just seemed very self important. When I went up to make a purchase she didn't even smile and ask me how are you? She had no interpersonal skills what so ever! I was helped by a really nice young lady i didn't catch her name , but was blown away by the customer service i got from ALYSE! She not only picked a few dresses for me but asked for my shoe size and picked my matching shoes for me ! Going above and beyond! She help me narrow down my options and pick earrings. I came to return something and there was two people in front of me who took forever. I ended up waiting ten minutes in the same spot which I understand isn't the employees fault but I was already a bit irritated because I had to wait so long. When I got to the counter one of the employees kept looking over at me multiple times like I stole something. The lady that was helping me had a tone that wasn't welcoming at all. I want to give a shout out to assistant manager, Abi for working so hard and holding down the store yesterday afternoon. Indeed it is the time of the month to shop for Valentine's Day, Galentine Day, and the season to shop for prom dresses! The line to the fitting room was quite long, but this is when I first noticed Abi. She is probably one of the most friendly and efficient person I know! Just as the clothes are coming out of the fitting rooms she would make sure they went back to the racks where they belonged. When I went to go pay for my item, she was the one checking me out. While checking me out she noticed a customer in the corner of her eye struggling to reach for an item up high and offered to bring the item down for her when she had a chance. When I asked if she was the only one working, she said a new girl came in not long ago and she hasn't trained for returns yet so she's assisting with the fitting rooms and another girl had called out sick. Wow! I was so impressed. She had amazing customer service skills while multitasking on a busy shopping day. Whoever is reading this, please give high recognition to this wonderful human being! This store is nice and always clean. Outfits are always nice and good material. For the most part employers are nice. I'll get some days where no one greets me or asks me if I found everything ok. I wanted to make a return out of the 3 dresses I bought. I had made the purchase 10/04/19 and made a return on 10/07/19. The girl helping me with the return that day was nice, I tried making small talk but she didn't seem interested. Today when I walked in no one seemed willing to help me. I get it we all have bad days, but don't bring personal problems to work. I did want to make another return from the same receipt Elizabeth was her name I believe told me I couldn't do the return for the same dress. I told her it was a different on then she told me we are only allowed to make on return per receipt. I told her where on the return policies does it say that she wasn't able to tell me. Her manager Stephanie told me the same thing. I told her I'm still with in my days, dress is unworn with tags thats al that is stated. She still told me no. I called customer service and Dora the young lady that help me was so helpful and nice. She made sure my return was processed. If it wasn't for her I would never shop at this store again.
