    Service here was pretty sad. Let me first say that the cashier was very nice. The "manager" on duty, however, was rude and dismissive. My sister-in-law and I went to the store to return an item that was ordered online. The Old Navy website says that items ordered online can be returned within "30 days from DELIVERY DATE". Saturday was day 29 so we knew we had to get over to the store. Upon requesting the return to be processed, the employees said that the manager used the order date to calculate the return by date. We asked to speak to the manager, Alondra, who reiterated that it was 30 days from the order date. I showed her the website and it clearly says, "30 days from delivery date..." She pulled up a picture on her phone, "from corporate", that she says states to use the order date. (Not that she actually gave us any time to focus on the pic or read what it actually said.). She proceeds to say that she goes by what she has on her phone "but" she would do a 1-time exception, but only for store credit. My sister-in-law and I, both, said that she should contact corporate. Corporate should either update the website or update the information that they provide to their managers regarding the return policy. She then grunted, looked at us dismissively and walked away!! WTF!! After she walked away, the cashier (I wish I could remember her name!) then sheepishly apologized. She said that she understood why we were questioning the policy because she read what it said as I was showing it to the manager. Next time, I'll drive the extra time to go to the Valley Fair location.

    This is the third time I have come to this location in the last two months and the lines are ridiculous. I set my timer on my phone to see how long I'd be waiting. 50 minutes!! From standing in line to check out total. I'm pregnant and this was very difficult on my feet. They could at least provide chairs. When it came time for me to check out I got no apologies for the wait or an explanation. The employees don't work with a sense of urgency and take their sweet time checking you out. Why should they care about my time their getting paid! Corporate needs to get in this store and place a higher quality manager to manage this mess. Old Navy is not worth the hassle. I'll never shop at old Navy again.

    Just made a return. It was SOOO fast esp on cyber monday!!! Thank you!!! Best old navy I have been to!!! Great deals and cute pjs this year!

I was desperate in need to look for a onesie pajama for my son, I was the only customer in the store walking in. There was two ladies I would assume one is a manager and the other one is an employee I asked the manager politely if they have onesie, she made me feel unwelcome and doesn't know what I'm talking about or even a onesie is, I asked her a simple question and her employee was very rude. She looked at me like I'm an annoying person, they seem personally bothered, I am a simple customer with a child , but she gave me an attitude. This was the scariest experience as a single mom, bringing my autistic son to the store and dealing with two amateur adults who works at Carter's people that do not deserve a job when I asked a simple question I think there is a discriminatory going on because the manager is White and the employee girl is Mexican and I am Asian. It was on Jan 6 2026 around 5 PM in the evening that I experienced this and I hope nobody experience like this and I don't wanna experience like this again or if I can make the smart decision to never walk into that store anymore . This was very scary I had to lie and say I will probably come back in February, and those two employees were talking behind my back and stare at me until I walk out of the door.

The email from the Children's place sent today (6/28/23) was regarding my online order/store pickup purchase that was made on 3/27/23 for 2 outfits-it was for my daughter's kinder promotion which was a time sensitive occasion. The email states that the order was picked up on 6/2/23. (Duh! Thanks for resolving nothing!) Initially, I received an email on 5/30/23 saying there was an issue with shipment and that I might get reimbursed, but I never heard anything after that. I tried to message customer service for a follow up but to no avail. There's obviously a lack of customer service or any kind of urgency to respond to messages. I am not sure what's going on there.  I went ahead and drove to Oakridge mall on 6/2/23 not knowing whether or not my order would even be available as the store never notified me if my package had made it there or not. The employee nonchalantly goes yeah it's here and hands it to me not looking at me or saying anything. I could tell she could care less about her job and I don't blame her at all! If I was working for a company where the people at the top don't care why should I care about my job either? I hope your company finds some integrity before you all start going down hill. Typically, I turn to Gymboree for milestone events, picture days, holidays, and special occasions. We have been shopping here for generations, so Gymboree has been a wardrobe staple. It is a shame Gymboree went under and has to now be carried by The Children's Place. Hopefully the customer experience improves because Gymboree clothing is nostalgia to our family. Otherwise, my kids will eventually grow up and in a few more years we would not need to shop here anymore.

I never received a call like they said I would so I waited all weekend and when I finally came to pick it up they had sent over the wrong size. The owner then forced us to go pick it up in Daly City if I wanted it that same day and offered no partial refund or even a discount on a future purchase. Will be blasting them on TikTok. Order on Stock X. Associate also made us uncomfortable asking us about our ethnicity instead of just checking us out.
