He stayed fully present, walked me through everything, and reassured me without any frustration, even though it was a Friday night and they were trying to close up. What could have been a stressful situation felt easy because of how he handled it. That level of care and professionalism is rare, and it really stuck with me. This Took Pl., July 31, 2026 at approximately 7:30 PM.Service was great in the fitting room. the young lady was kind and personable. Once I reached the line, there were 2 cashiers. Suddenly when it got to my turn the sales person looked at me with a kind look, but proceeded to notvoffer to ring up my items. The li e was gro and she addressed no one. She left the rest of the customers for the one sales person. I Thought she would stop in speaking to serve myself and the other customers. It was about a good five minutes, and decided to put my merchandise down and leave the store and go across the hall to H&M we had great customer service and I remember the gentleman first walk in the store with a smile. I also remember that a few months back Young man served me Even though the store store was closing. Had a great selection of items and an amazing sale of items 70% off of the sale price. found jeans for about $5. And a full seat cover that was really cute we're about five dollars. I am extremely unhappy with the service, or should I say lack of service I received at the store in Sunday, 8/27/23 at 7:35pm. I specifically looked up what time the old navy store in Oakridge will lose before heading there thinking I can make it to the advertised 8pm closing. But no, when I walked in, they told me it was closed even though the gates were still up. As you can imagine, being turned away at 7:35 when it clearly said 8pm was very disappointing. I only had a few things to return. When I walked in, I was quickly stopped by the girl working the front (the greeter). She said, she thinks it's a new policy. I show her the 8pm on my phone. She calls her manager. Manager refuses. Says her registers are closing. Then I asked closed or closing. Of course she said closed and that they are "now" aligning with the mall hours. I honestly just think it's a bunch of kids working there that want to take off early. If that really is the case, why not change the online hours and close the gate? If you are wondering why retail is failing and people are moving towards online shopping, this is a prime example. Who wants to go to the mall and deal with this kind of attitude from a bunch of kids. I'm not stupid. I clearly did my research before coming. I also worked at old navy as a teen and have fond memories of it being my first job. I can't believe it's now like this. I'm upset. Mainly because now I'm inconvenienced. I have to come back again and deal again with the rude service because I bought something that didn't work out. After that, it'll probably be my last time shopping in that store. I want all to know. Service here was pretty sad. Let me first say that the cashier was very nice. The "manager" on duty, however, was rude and dismissive. My sister-in-law and I went to the store to return an item that was ordered online. The Old Navy website says that items ordered online can be returned within "30 days from DELIVERY DATE". Saturday was day 29 so we knew we had to get over to the store. Upon requesting the return to be processed, the employees said that the manager used the order date to calculate the return by date. We asked to speak to the manager, Alondra, who reiterated that it was 30 days from the order date. I showed her the website and it clearly says, "30 days from delivery date..." She pulled up a picture on her phone, "from corporate", that she says states to use the order date. (Not that she actually gave us any time to focus on the pic or read what it actually said.). She proceeds to say that she goes by what she has on her phone "but" she would do a 1-time exception, but only for store credit. My sister-in-law and I, both, said that she should contact corporate. Corporate should either update the website or update the information that they provide to their managers regarding the return policy. She then grunted, looked at us dismissively and walked away!! WTF!! After she walked away, the cashier (I wish I could remember her name!) then sheepishly apologized. She said that she understood why we were questioning the policy because she read what it said as I was showing it to the manager. Next time, I'll drive the extra time to go to the Valley Fair location. read more

This is the third time I have come to this location in the last two months and the lines are ridiculous. I set my timer on my phone to see how long I'd be waiting. 50 minutes!! From standing in line to check out total. I'm pregnant and this was very difficult on my feet. They could at least provide chairs. When it came time for me to check out I got no apologies for the wait or an explanation. The employees don't work with a sense of urgency and take their sweet time checking you out. Why should they care about my time their getting paid! Corporate needs to get in this store and place a higher quality manager to manage this mess. Old Navy is not worth the hassle. Came here today and picked up some dresses, one cardigan and one jacket. It's a rather large Old Navy with a good selection of clothes for the entire family (children, men and women). The entire shop is well staffed and they are always willing to help the customers should you have any questions. I've noticed the prices in store are slightly higher than online. The only drawback to this location is checking out. It's always a long wait to check out. The long wait being checked out is due to the fact they never have enough staff at the cash registers. I came here today and there is was one person ahead of me and only one person at the cash registers - the good thing is they finally called another person to the registers and my checkout was fast. There have been times when I left without purchasing because there was a line of 15 people and one person at the register checkout. Typically everyone is nice and helpful but two stars sadly because I've gone to this location more then twice in the past two and a half weeks and I'm not sure if it's because they're chanting things around or getting rid of it but I always where the plus size section is and was directed to a table of basically the stuff people didn't want and everything was on the floor. The store is clean, well organized, it's easy to access the clothes, the changing rooms are large (yeah the lighting is heinous but that's true everywhere). The bathroom is clean. The clothes are hit or miss. I've had some wonderful clothes that lasted me YEARS and others that only lasted me a month or two before holes started to show up. The people they hire are always really nice, helpful and don't mind digging around to find something you like in your size. They're around but not in your face. read more

The new remodeled Old Navy looks so much better now! Things no longer feel cramped and everything looks more organized! With the new look, everything looks put together and evenly split between the men, women, children's, clearance, and athletic wear sections. Old Navy always has decent sales especially for their winter holiday sales! Annually, the sales would go from 50-60% off which is great! The material of the clothes are not bad and the jeans are good quality. I always love coming here during their sales and it's a great place for Christmas shopping too. But, smaller sizes run out fast but that's called for. What I don't like are the long lines and the slow cashiers. Whenever I come here, cashiers take 10 minutes per person and have conversations with their coworkers which makes the wait unbearable. The workers are nice though. You also get 15% your purchase when opening a Old Navy card! read more

I use to live near Oakridge so I loved stopped by Old Navy weekly. Came here today to use my rewards and it was maybe 10 min after they opened. It was early so there was no crowd, which is always a plus. Looked around and grabbed some shirts for me and the boys. Everything was neatly organized and staff were all on the floor restocking items for the day. I was looking for a couple of the items and the staff were all very helpful when I needed them. Once I was ready to check out, there was no wait, so the cashier rang me up right away. He was very friendly and quick. There was one item I decided to put back, but I didn't realize that he had charged me for it. I looked in the bag after I came home and noticed on the receipt that I was charged for the pants that I had him put back. I called the store immediately and the girl that picked up the phone said that I had to come back in the store. I said that wasn't possible right now. She said I had 90 days, I told her I can't just come back in a week and bring a receipt without an item. She said she would transfer me to the manager. The manager came on the phone and I explained to her what happened. She was very apologetic and said that she would refund me the item. She was polite and efficient, it took her 2 minutes to finish everything and apologized again. Great customer service, this is why I love Old Navy! read more

Has anyone ever been underwhelmed while shopping at Old Navy? Just kidding. I don't usually shop at Old Navy unless it's for cheap summer dresses and even cheaper flip-flops. I came in for some back to school shopping for my son. I'm glad I did! I was able to buy jeans for my son at $10 a pair! I grabbed him about 3 pairs from here and a few shirts. I was able to swoop up a Skylanders shirt for him! It's like hitting up each store at Oakridge mall and collecting Skylanders as a hobby for my 6 year old. I even paid regular price $29 for a Justice League sweater because I saved so much shopping here. (Not to mention, sweater for myself too! It says "Heart and Soul") Old Navy wasn't crazy crowded like the holidays, parents aren't aggressive. It seems to me that they were watching what other parents were buying for their kids and grabbing the same thing. LOL peer pressure and all. Fitting room had a lady attending there, she wasn't pushy about which stall to try our clothes in being that I had 2 kids with me, my son and my niece. Down side, usually I get someone to get another pair of pants if it's the wrong size, I wasn't offered this service, nor was she able to get someone for us. My fault, I should have grabbed two sizes for my son to try on. Only 2 registers were open, but they did manage to pop a third one up as we were waiting in line. I got me a $25 off coupon to spend the first week of September since I spent $96 on 2 sweaters, a legging, 2 shirts, and 3 pairs of jeans. Not too shabby! *** It would be nice if Old Navy didn't have like 1/4 of the store full of girls clothing where I had to hunt on?! ... I don't have a daughter, I just know It's hard to find clothes for my son because of limit in options. Once the sizes are out, I have to go to a different store. read more

I never thought I'd shop at Old Navy again. I haven't been in this location since way before the remodel and I'm pleasantly surprised. The store is very clean and well organized. The staff there is amazing and super knowledgeable. Alan, the person who helped me out, was super friendly and had good energy. Will definitely come back for the deals they have here. Old Navy is in Oakridge Mall shopping center. Its best to park behind Target on Thornwood Dr side as it is just a short walk from there. It is between Macys and Target, but nearer to Target. Store is always well lit, airy and they carry a lot of merchandise. I normally buy fleece jackets for the kids, gloves or sweaters. Pricing is good. On Black Friday they always run interesting doorbusters, like a free Mario Wii U game if you spend $40. But, I rather avoid the crowds and there is always something else you really need. Great old navy! Even though it smells like they have a kazilion rubber balls here (very weird). I feel like they have a little bit of everything in this shop which is great as you never feel like you should be going somewhere else to get your stuff. So well stocked, nice lay out, clean and great for kids clothes. Nice staff too (I mean one of the guys - as in a dude - here managed to find me the perfect maternity pants...on sale....I mean seriously! :) ) The only downside is that the lines are always so freaking long. This one is one of the better ON IMO. It usually has a pretty well stocked clearance section which arranged by size. The womens dept is pretty well gigantic and takes up almost half the store. Mens takes up about a 1/3 and kids is the rest. The toddler (up to 5T) section is a touch small and I am typically disappointed by size selection and price. The maternity section used to be good but it is now nonexisting pretty much. One of my big gripes though is the LINE! Always long on weekends and still unnecessarily long on week days! The staff is hit or miss. Oh, and if you go in the evening after the beginning of a sale, it is RANSACKED! But, it is still worth checking while in oakridge. read more

The store is not maintained well - racks are clustered and items are shoved in with hangers all tangled up. I know customers are inconsiderate, but the employees do not do a good job maintaining the store. Their customer service line moves very slow. It is always bad. I was in this week and was the 3rd person in line. I was in line for 24 minutes before reaching a register. When I got up there, she scanned my item and asked where I found it. I told her, and she just walked away with it. When she came back, she said, "This is not 30% off." I was so confused. I did not indicate that I thought it was on sale. I knew I did not get it from a sale rack. I have no idea what was going through her mind. I was at the register for 15 minutes to buy one pair of pants. read more

I can NOT believe how slow this location is. I hardly ever shop at Old Navy but was need of a shirt for an event. The people ringing up have to use both computers & phone devices and half of the time items won't scan. I was on my lunch break and only 2 people ahead of me, should only take a few minutes right? Well there were 2 people ringing up and i literally stood there for 20mins. The lady in front of me was only purchasing 2 baby items. She was so frustrated cause her baby was screaming and hungry and everything with her just went wrong...couldn't scan the items, couldn't take the sensors off, couldn't swipe her card right, etc. Then it was my turn and it took 10mins to buy one shirt. geesh! Got to get the systems up to speed! The employees are super slow especially one of the girls that rung me up wearing a raiders shirt but having slow systems doesn't help them at all. read more

I have never had a problem with the customer service at this store, but I do notice that every time I go in it seems everyone is new, I never see the same employees twice! The mediocre ranking is because most of the time, this store doesn't have the stuff that's on the Old Navy website. I've gone in many times looking for something cute I saw online and IF they do have it, they have one in XXXL. Last week it was the military jackets (they had one in black in XXL) and the fringe tassel scarves (not one, in any of the colors). It is really frustrating to have to wait for an online order but that's the only way I can be sure I will get the items I want. read more

I really like this place now that they've remodeled. They also really changed the style of the clothes they carry. A lot more neutral colors, they are so pretty. I received the best customer service from one of the cashiers last time I went in. They didn't have the size jeans I wanted in a Tall, so she ordered it online for me and had it shipped directly to my house for no extra charge. I've also had great experiences with all the other employees I've interacted with there. read more
