I've avoided Sephora for years because of constant frustration. Every time I went in--whether with my niece or by myself--I'd spend time trying on makeup only to discover it was sold out. Honestly, it felt like 9 times out of 10 the products I tested weren't available to purchase. It was such a waste of time that I stopped even walking into Sephora and shopped elsewhere instead, where I could count on better service and stocked shelves. This new Almaden Plaza Sephora completely changed my perspective. From the moment I walked in, Olivia greeted me warmly and spent a full 30 minutes helping me. She was patient, knowledgeable, and every product she recommended was actually available (finally!). I left with over $450 in purchases, feeling confident and happy with everything I bought. I also discovered that this location offers waxing services, so I gave the brow wax a try. Victoria, the licensed beauty artist (LBA), was wonderful--professional, friendly, and made the experience easy and comfortable. Thanks to Olivia and Victoria, I had one of the best Sephora experiences ever. It was low-key mellow and stress-free. This store feels well-managed, well-stocked, and welcoming. For the first time in years, I'm excited to return to Sephora--and to bring my niece with me too. Kudos to the Almaden Plaza team for winning me back as a customer!

Honestly the wait to get help around here is ridiculous! It feels like they are always short staff.

It's very cute and very clean, and doesn't seem like a thrift shop at all. The young woman working there was friendly and helpful. I saw lots of little things I wanted to buy, like the tiniest Labubu I've ever seen, but didn't end up purchasing anything. Most of the clothes and accessories for females seemed targeted toward young people, but I'm glad I stopped in and checked out all of their cute loot. Be sure to bring change for the metered parking or plan to use your credit card.

I bought a fleece skirt and wannabe suede tube top. Both pieces were $20-$22, but such a great deal! I lived that Baby Phat jacket too, but it was too small for me! Damnit! There's also a men's area towards the back of the store also, so make sure to check that area too! There were two employees working, when k went in on that weekday, make sure you bring coins or just pay via credit card to park, since all of Jtown charges for parking. I will definitely be back! $50 for an outfit I love! I can't wait to go home, wash it and wear it! They employee said if you post a pic of you in their outfit, to tag them on IG to be entered into some drawing for monthly coupon or something- I forget, but I'll be posting soon enough!!!

It's a cute boutique offering California-made items such as pottery, clothes, skin care products, jewelry, art, and more. The store is nicely organized and their items are neatly displayed. A table with pottery near the entrance caught my eye right away. I also enjoyed checking out the flavored salts and oils for cooking, room diffusers, wall art, and jewelry. I was surprised to see they carry the wonderful Osea skin care products as I didn't know they were made in California. I ended up buying a ceramic spoon rest, room spray, and a tiny gold "diamond" ring. Their prices were reasonable. The store owner rang up my items and was very friendly and nice. I will definitely be back to shop here again.

I bought a tank top and it was $42 which was pretty steep but I didn't mind. Until today, I had washed the top I purchased ONCE and after only 2 or 3 wears it starts pilling almost everywhere! Sometimes the my washer does this which isn't avoidable, but I had washed it with like colors and fabric types so it shouldn't have done this. There's also weird lines in the fabric now so not sure if I would wear this outside my house anymore.

But I went in to find a birthday present for a Chinese girlfriend with really good taste in fashion and maybe buy a cute hair clip for myself. A clerk started giggling at me as soon as I walked into the store. Another sales lady walked up to me with a highly disapproving look on her face. "We don't have anything here in your size," she said. I could just tell she was envisioning me ripping the seams out of one of her $180 skirts trying to zip it over my fat ass. I'm well-acquainted giggles and rejection from clothing sales clerks in Thailand, Hong Kong, China, and Japan. But I wasn't expecting it here. Oh well; they lost my business.

Over the years, I've bought hair clips, cell phone charms, skirts, and dresses. The lady was very professional and nice. She is not pushy at all, and lets me have my time browing through the things. When she recommended an item to me, she was not pushy either. Many times I don't buy anything but just tried a few pieces on. She was not angry, like some other Asian store owners do. They have cute Korean style clothes. The price tags are pretty expensive, but they go on sale after a while, like 50% off. I like many styles there, but sometimes just didn't buy them due to the price. Sometimes they have on-sale items hanging outside the store. $29.99 a piece. I've found great bargains there. I bought a summer skirt, a winter skirt, and a full dress! Great deals.

Walked in and employee was on her phone and didn't pay much attention to us being there. So for this reason I am subtracting 1 star, poor customer service. I guess she had something important on her phone to deal with. Not very welcoming, but no worries, Im just looking anyway. On a brighter note, they have some beautiful necklaces that won't leave your wallet hurting. They also have a large selection of blinged out earrings and hair accessories too. The prices here are very reasonable, I thought it was going to be much more expensive, but, I was wrong. I know where to come when I need a special occasion or statement piece of jewelry and I'll leave happy knowing I got a good deal. Will definitely return to buy that statement piece of jewelry. I used to come in for the hair pieces because they are unique and the prices were always unbeatable and they still are. Everything in the store is unbeatable. Their stuff range from hair accessories, to make up, to prom jewelry, earrings, scarves, hats, and there might be more but this is the only things that come to my mind. I love how creative the pieces are. I have never returned anything here so I do not know the return policy. But I've always been a firm believer of only buying what you know will fit you 100% percent or what you really really like, if not you end up dissatisfied writing reviews like the ones listed below. Overall, I enjoy shopping here and will continue to shop here. Thank you amuse for the shopping experience.
