My appt was at 11:30, I came early per usual. I made an appt via online and I do suggest making the appt early because they do get booked back to back. I received a text and a phone call to confirm my appt. Danielle was my makeup artist today. She listened and did everything possible to make me feel pretty and to make me comfortable. I sweat easily, so she held a handheld fan to my face to cool me down which was extremely appreciated. I wore the outfit and earrings for today's luncheon, so I told her that she can do whatever to my face but all I care about are my blemishes. She wasn't trying to upsell any products to me, but she was honest about what she thinks I would use and/or need. I have not felt like this in so long. Daniele was great. read more

So today there was a giveaway of a free lipstick, but only for the first twelve people in line. We were the second couple in line? And walked away with two free lipsticks' Shout out to the two amazing folks working this morning, and giving my beautiful wife, such great support and customer service. She was looking for an everyday lipstick and she was able to find exactly what she needed and wanted! We came back in the afternoon, to pick up more stuff, because MAC had a 40% off today and only today. She walked away happy and excited, to try her new cosmetics. read more

My daughter was getting her make up done for her prom. She does not do her make up like many young lady do so this was a new experience for her. She had pic of ideas of what she wanted her makeup to look like. The person that helped do her makeup did a wonderful job. She asked many questions to my daughter and looked over the pic. My daughter and I were very satisfied and are grateful for Mac staff making my daughter look perfect for prom. I'm sure going to go back when needed too and I recommend it to others . The price is very decent and making an appt is very easy. You can do it in person and by website. Once again thank you Oakridge Mall Mac employees. read more

I had such a great experience at MAC thanks to Romeo! He truly went above and beyond to take care of me from start to finish. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but he also made me feel so comfortable and confident in my choices. He took his time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure everything was perfect. It's rare to find that level of customer service these days. I'll definitely be coming back just because of him.. highly recommend asking for Romeo if you visit! read more

Oakridge Mall is one of my go to malls for my shopping needs. The mall seams to be making some new additions to their list of stores and restaurants they already have. Coming soon they will have a Vans store and a Smash Burger too. Nordstrom is a favorite store that I enjoy shopping at because they have a verity of price ranges from inexpensive to higher end products. I also enjoy shopping at Macy's, Lane Bryant, Target and some other of their stores. Oh and you cant forget Clairs, Deyso, and Sephora. read more

I had the pleasure of getting my makeup done by Marisol. At first I was unsure because I didn't know who she was or if she'd be good at doing my makeup but she did an amazing job. I had gotten my face done for a professional headshot and I felt so pretty and confident all day long. She knew exactly what colors and shades looked best on me and explained what she was doing in detail. I'm definitely going to be booking a makeup lesson with her . I received soo many compliments from friends and family. She did the perfect soft glam for my business look. I highly recommend her she was so kind, and we had fun! read more

Don't see a time that works for you. Call the store.. don't work in customer service if you're gonna be rude. Plain and simple. read more

i love this location, very sweet artists including one named michelle who automatically shade matched me correctly !

Just had the worst experience I've had at a Mac store ever (9/25 around 8 pm). It wasn't crazy packed, just 1 lady before me and 1 after that. The sales associate, Adriana, was extremely impatient with me. I came from far away because I wanted the palette eyeshadows, so I drove a bit to get there. Otherwise, I would not have given her my sale at all. I even thought about driving to Valley Fair... I told her from the start I wanted 4 eyeshadows. Each time I told her one, she literally scoffed. Like "why god do you want something else?" She was even slamming the drawers in and out looking for the items. One of the shadows I wanted was out of stock (which I don't blame her for). I had to beg her to help me find something similar and once again she scoffed in my face. She asked me if I wanted anything else and at this point I'm basically in tears and tell her to please help the next person. I find the 2 other items I was looking for. I don't want to piss her off at that point, so I open the drawer to get something myself.... she then snaps at me "You can't open the drawers!" That's fine if that's the policy, but the way she snapped it was extremely rude. I wait for her to help me and I'm pretty quiet at that point because I am so upset. She rudely asks me to repeat myself 3 times because she can't just pay attention to me, she's walking all over the store and no one else is even there anymore. Will not be back there again. Save yourself the rudeness and go to Valley Fair. read more

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2016 The MAC counter at Macy's was so overcrowded and understaffed I decided to come to the stand alone MAC shop near The Cheesecake Factory. I was greeted by the friendly employees and asked if I needed help. Most of my friends know I'm a power shopper- I like to get in and out of shops in the least amount of time with the products I had in mind to purchase (with the exception of book stores where I could linger for hours). I purchased the following: Cream In Your Coffee (creamsheen lipstick) $17 Melba (powdered blush) $23 Volcanic Ash (Exfoliator) $30 Charged Water (skin hydrating mist) $25 I wanted to purchase 'Ample Pink' plushglass but they ran out. Dominique was kind enough to call the MAC counter at Macy's and have them put aside 3 for me ($21 each). Apparently, Ample Pink plushglass is uber popular. When I arrived at Macy's the crowd was gone and I made my purchase with ApplePay (easy peasy!). Dominique's customer service was outstanding- super kind and helpful from start to finish, never tried to oversell me but just helped me to find the products I needed and the colors in the lipstick and plushglass. I've always found the people to work here to be friendly and helpful. The inside of the shop is always clean and well organized. Gotta love MAC!!! I'm a MAC girl, I've been wearing it for years and depend on some of my faves to be there for me over the years. This place is a biggest disappointment for customer service. I went here with my daughter. And I just came in just to get the setting spray and whatever my daughter needs. One lady said to me that if we had any questions please let her know. And of course we did after 5min later looking around and everyone there all the staff was ignoring us. My daughter looked at everyone and and we waited by the register where 2 staff was there look at us and ignore us and walk past us. And yes we even said excuse me we need help. And still we got ignored. SMH. Customer service is ridiculous. Definitely not going to that MAC store. I rather go to valley fair mall instead. Oh and lastly they weren't even busy. SMH. read more

I love MAC cosmetics but people here in this store are too stuck up. Don't they want customers??? They act like they OWN the store. Homie, I know your making like $6.00 an hour so stop that snotty attitude. Anyway, I came here to buy foundation one evening and it took forever for someone to help me. I didn't mind, really, because I love checking out the products. Finally, this gay latino guy with make-up helped me out. I had a few questions about their makeup and he sounded like I'm wasting his precious time. He just had a short snotty answer for every question. He didn't even pull out any make-up to try on my face like how MAC stylists usually do to answer my questions. When he rang me up, he whispered to his friend and they looked at me, up and down, with a smirk on their faces. Either I looked hella good that day that they were extremely jealous or I looked really crappy. But, geez, they couldn't wait to talk about me until I left??? Freakin' RUDE. read more

Service sucks. I'd scheduled an appt. to get my make-up did and showed up an hour early just in case they had any cancellations. Well, the artists were standing around without a clients in sight and the one person who'd make eye contact with me looked at THE Clipboard and asked me to come back in 45 minutes. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, that perhaps they were expecting a huge party to come in or something and wandered about the mall to kill some time. Upon my return, the same girl who'd asked me to come back checked with the counter manager about starting on me and he said "her appointment is at 12:30" without even looking up. So, she asked me to come back. There were stylist available. There were two to three artists just standing around. Hello? Couldn't someone just have started on me and handed me off? It was just bad. So, I canceled my appt. and walked over to Laura Mercier (they have lashes, too). read more

I had my first professional makeup experience yesterday & i have nothing but nice things to say about the people here! Amanda was my makeup technician & she showed up right on time for our appointment. I gave her a basic idea of what i wanted and gave her the freedom to get creative in the color palette i provided. The appointment ran about 45 minutes and was enjoyable throughout! I had fake eyelashes put in for the first time as well and Amanda made a very good choice in picking eyelashes for me that would be dramatic but not overwhelming. She was very friendly and informative. I will definitely be back in the future! PS: I had my makeup done at 530pm, celebrated my birthday party all night long and when it came time to remove my makeup at 5am, it was sad to take it off because it still looked sooo stunning. Such a shame to take it off :) Good job Amanda read more

Knocking it down one star for declining customer service. Love the products, but I am strating to believe that MAC trains their SA's to be rude much of the time. The ladies who work here are super sweet. But there is a guy (or two?) who are just snooty/catty as heck and get really annoyed if you ask them to get something for you. Which I totally don't understand because it's not like I need extra help other than for them to pull the items I already know I need to get and then ring me up and send me on my way. They just want to hang out and not be bothered I guess. I think MAC has some sort of ploy to chase customers away with rude salespeople. I will only approach the counter if the girls are working because they are always warm, welcoming and very helpful. If the guys are working, I keep my distance. read more

Its been years since ive used Mac although in the past 6 months Ive decided to give another try. I remember now why I stopped. With so many competitive products out on the market why endure the horrible customer service they consistently provide. I had to go into this store on Saturday morning to return a product that I was mis-matched on. My daughter came with me as she was mismatched aswell. We got completely ignored by the one worker behind the counter who couldnt be bothered by our Prescence as they cleaned brushes. not even a simple hello while we spent 10 minutes in this empty store. In the past 6 months ive been to this store 4 times and only 1 time was there an artist who was friendly. ive decided Im returning my items to another store and I will not be purchasing MAC anymore. MAC employees are a representation of the company they work for and I will no longer give my money to companies that fail in customer service. The employees give a miserable vibe and I dont need that energy in my life! read more

I came here recently to get my makeup done for a wedding. I called ahead of time to make an appt but they didn't have any openings in time for me to make it to the church. They suggested for me to walk in and see if any of the appts would be no-shows. Not a guarantee, but I decided to just try it anyways. I came in and found that there was another woman ahead of me waiting to get my makeup. I was hoping that both appts would be no-shows so we could both get our faces done. Luckily, both happened to never show up! I got my makeup done by Vicky. She is so sweet and listens to exactly what you want done. I also liked her recommendations when I asked and my makeup turned out to be amazing!! I completely forgot to take a photo of my face beat. It took about 45 minutes or so to get everything done. She takes her time on making sure you look flawless. It would have taken less time if there were more staff on the floor to help out customers that were needing assistance, but I understand it's business. You pretty much tell them how much makeup you want- light, regular, or full coverage. I normally don't cake on my face with makeup, but since I wanted the makeup to last all night long, I made sure to have full coverage. I've never EVER done glitter eyeshadow and I've always wanted it, so I figured why not?! Vicky did an amazing job from the suggestions with how to match the colors with my dress to blending, adding extra glitter to my waterline, etc. I'd probably come back again for the next wedding in December and request for Vicky. And I will be sure to make an appt! read more

About time Oakridge finally obtained a legit MAC store. For years, I was going with my friend to the MAC counter in Macy*s, which just wasn't enough. Now they have a store located close to the Cheesecake Factory. My minus star is for the girl making me feel so horrible about myself. Made an appointment at Mac in Oakridge Mall to have my makeup done for a Christmas party. I arrived to my appointment 30 minutes early because I was so excited. I was greeted with a smile by Tracy. Tracy stated she would be the one doing my makeup and immediately took me over to get started. I showed Tracy my inspirational look, cut crease and she agreed it was perfect for what I was wearing. Tracy was meticulous and professional throughout the entire process. Intermittently other associates would come over and compliment Tracy work while in progress, which was so impressive to see, it also excited me to see the final product. I loved the final reveal. Tracy did an amazing job. I got so many compliments at the Christmas party. I definitely would recommend Tracy at the Mac store in Oakridge Mall. read more

This store is ran by 5 year olds... worst customer service every! Can't even finish a sentence when you talk to these dummies!

Yes, yes, yes! I've been here a few times and today I simply called for advice and the sales person was so sweet. She genuinely shared her picks and was such a delight. Of all things I wasn't buying from her directly. She just cared. The items she recommended were WONDERFUL. Now that is EXCELLENT, and caring customer service. MAC has such great colors it's so hard to do it on your own. Wow! Someone that did exactly what she's paid to do and more. Melanie, thank you! read more

Used to be THE makeup brand back in the day, nowdays they are laking innovation, also the attitud of people working in most of the shops are really weird, if you dont follow their instuctions to the dot or don't like what they are showing you they can be a little rude. In overall a good brand but is not my favorite anymore! read more

I shopped here back in May for the new juicy fruity collection. I purchased everything they had left. Being a loyal Mac customer I didn't even swatch anything that purchased. When I got home I found the formulation of this collection was not to my liking. Mind you I'm a MUA and a DM for another cosmetic company so I am familiar with retail processes when customers are not happy with product. I rarely ever return but in this case I was not happy at all. I purchased my items 5/19 and I went into the location 6/21 to return my items. I went up to counter and handed the sales associate my return. She looked over the receipt and started processing the return. Soon after she stopped, circled the customer service number and told me there's nothing can she do for me because it's past 30 days and I need to call customer service. I asked if I could exchange it, she stated no you have to call customer service. WHAT!?! they did not tell me at the time of purchase that they were so strict!! And not even an exchange!?! I know retail and I know there are exceptions! I called customer service and they told me the store could have processed it for me, but they can help me. They asked me to read all kinds of codes on the box and cases of each item and they will send me a label to send the products back only then I'll get my refund! WHAT!?!? This is absolutely ridiculous! I will never shop at a Mac boutique again! If I absolutely need there products I will shop at Nordstrom. Ridiculous!! Mac you will loose tons of customers conducting returns and exchanges in this manner! Good luck! read more

There's nobody like Tracy! She is THE MOST WELCOMING FRIENDLIEST SWEETEST ever. I've been using MAC cosmetics since 2002. I've encountered so many amazing helpful MAC employees but Tracy has treated myself and other customers like they are red carpet stars from the start, every time you walk in to the store. Tracy immediately smiles and asks me what I need (she knows exactly what products I use by its each exact number ) I always look forward to seeing her, she describes products so I know what I'm buying but doesn't push me into anything. Just gives me my options gets me what I need. read more

Today I had the privilege of being helped by Allie and Sandra! What wonderful costumer service and over all fantastic attitudes! I did 4 Back to MAC's and though I didn't buy anything, I didn't feel pressured and wasn't given attitude for only wanting to recycle the old products for new ones. Sandra showed me all the new products and it was great to swatch, and see all the new goodies as I am normally an online shopper. They were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Their personal makeup done on themselves was fantastic and makes me feel comfortable getting my makeup done here in the future. Golden Standard for MAC girls! read more

Honestly, if I knew of a Mac within a Macy's that had better customer service..then I would probably go there 100% of the time. But unfortunately, I don't. So I've been sticking to this one. A lot of the reviews on here are pretty much the truth when it comes to the sales department here. They are usually busy quite a bit of time but that shouldn't equate having rude, pretentious attitudes that is the general attitude of this collective team. I've come across people who work here who are also (what seems like) to be absolutely sweet as well. They helped to the best of their knowledge and gave honest feedback. I can't say that about all others. This place would be best if you already know your cosmetic "numbers" and names and can get in and out as quickly as possible. read more

I really love MAC products but I hate the service. It is such a pain to walk in and stand around and wait for someone to help you. I have never had a good experience at MAC. The final straw was when I went in with my mother and she needed help getting a complete set of new makeup. She wanted to get her makeup done and have someone pick out her products and explain how she should apply it. We got someone to help us but in order for him to do her makeup she had to verbally agree to purchase at least $40 worth of products!! We were so disgusted we left! If MAC had better customer service they would not need a ridiculous verbal agreement! For any cosmetics you are way better off going to sephora. Better customer service and products. read more
