Meanwhile, I had a super important meeting 3 days later that I had to be ready to present at. I looked like a frizzled mess!!! She burnt my hair to a crisp. I begged her for an appt before my meeting, even though she was supposed to finished everything day 1, and she kept me for an additional 7 hours. When I say my hair was burnt, I'm not exaggerating. It's taken over a year to grow my hair out. I never even got what I wanted. She gave my uneven blonde highlights...not the dark roots and balayage that I'd requested. And yes, I took a whole bunch of pictures in. All in, I paid $2K CASH...bc she refuses to take anything else so I assume she doesn't pay taxes. Plus I paid over $500 in treatment products to help heal my hair since. I was embarrassed to leave the house. All I heard from her own mouth was how great she was. I think she's great at extensions but definitely not bleaching dark hair. I had healthy hair going in, she has messed it up so much that my hair is STILL breaking and it's been over a year. Please avoid at all costs. Go to a proper studio. Funny thing is not only does she only take cash, but she INCLUDES her own MANDATORY 20% tip...isn't a tip based on services rendered??
