Thank you, just little things too that are importantly that you might forget). I had zero confidence in getting the right flowers for my hair and Geet got them the day before and fridged them to have ready for me the next day. I was so grateful for this. Also while doing my hair, she would briefly massage my head and shoulders - it's like she knows exactly what you need! OMG. I didn't know such treatment was possible, the putting of make up and doing hair felt like a calming, soothing treatment. I am so grateful. Also most importantly, she secured my wedding gurdwara dress in a way so that I had NO issue bowing for the ceremony on the ground (she made me show her too to be sure). Everything functioned PERFECT. She knows what looks good too bc I'm not used to wearing make up and needed help on suggestions. Lastly, I didn't for a moment feel an ounce of impatience with all the hard work she had to do. Some people are just really good at what they do and I'm in awe of Geet! Thank you so much

This business deserves 0 stars…read more My experience with Emily & Michelle (the studio manager) was similar to the other 1 star reviews you will see on this page. They were by far the most unprofessional and disrespectful vendor I encountered during all of my wedding research. The biggest pain point was unresponsiveness which was consistently bad from day 1. It was silence for days despite multiple follow ups, even when we got to the month of the wedding. Whenever I did receive an overdue response, they were unapologetic and I might even say rude. Because of the concerns with communication, my planner kept trying to dissuade me from hiring Emily and I held out until the very last moment hoping to find another HMU artist. However, we were close to my wedding date and even with my planner's help, I wasn't able to find an alternative. So I reluctantly signed the contract a few days before the wedding and transferred a $1600 deposit. That's when I came across the reviews on this page about the no shows. That was the (much delayed) final straw, and coincidentally a HMU artist I had reached out to months prior reached out to say she was available for my wedding. So I notified Emily that evening asking if she would consider refunding any part of my deposit. Granted, she has no legal obligation to do so but it had been less than 24 hrs since I had sent her the deposit (in other words, less than 24 hrs that she held my wedding date which means no lost business for her). No response from her. She kept my $1600. Even with forfeiting the deposit, I decided to switch my HMU artist and 1000% believe I made the right decision. If I hadn't, I would have continued to stress about whether she would show up on my wedding day, and even if she had, I'm not sure how the experience would have gone. For example, if I wanted an adjustment to my hair or make up, would she have been accommodating? Shame on me for ever signing with Emily against my better judgement! I never write reviews but felt compelled to share this experience. I don't recommend her for any future brides.

Later my wedding planner reached out, and again she replied right away saying she was available and then ghosted him. Her behavior was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful, as we wasted time waiting for her, when it would be easy for her just to say she is not available or does not have capacity. Don't waste your time.
