They are super fast, efficient, and, most importantly, they genuinely listen to what you want. Nothing was overdone. Every look was elegant, trendy, and perfectly coordinated with my outfit and the occasion. They also helped set my outfits properly, which made the entire experience so easy and stress-free. I went to them for three different functions, and each time they gave me a completely different look. Every look was beautiful, moderate, and exactly according to my requirements. A very special mention to Pushp for my Jago hairstyle! She styled my hair so beautifully with a paranda. Even though my hair isn't very long, she didn't use any artificial hair. She managed to tie and secure the paranda beautifully with my natural hair, and it stayed perfectly in place for almost 7-8 hours--until I actually took it out myself! I was so impressed with how beautifully and securely she did it. Thank you so much, Pushp, for listening to exactly what I wanted and making the hairstyle look so beautiful. Simmi was equally amazing with my makeup. She listened carefully to everything I told her, especially about my skin type and the kind of makeup I was comfortable with. She understood exactly what I wanted and delivered it beautifully without making the makeup look overdone. Thank you so much, Pushp and Simmi, for listening so patiently and fulfilling all my requirements. I was really happy with my looks throughout the event and Kary was attentive throughout, really glad to have hired her. During the makeup trial she listened to my needs and took times to try multiple styles and looks until I'm comfortable with my choices. Her makeup style is very beautiful and natural at the same time, she has a great understand of Asian features. I felt very beautiful. During the event she stayed around for almost the whole ceremony to reception, helping with touch ups and outfit/look changes. She was also great with my mother and bridesmaids, patient and giving styling support when my mom had questions. However I think there's room for improvement in her team. The second HMU she brought with her to help with the other half of my bridesmaids was not as good. My bridesmaid mentioned that her side bun constantly fell out and after asking to be fixed multiple time they just ended up fixing it themselves. The second HMU also didn't seem to have the same joy as Kary and wasn't too friendly. Outside of that, Kary's husband Eugene does all her booking, scheduling and communications. Have some patience for him to get back to you and double check the booking times as I experienced some mixed up during the trial booking. Tiffany really nails the soft-glam look for makeup. It's very flattering but you still look like you. She's a pro for this What bothered me the most is she didn't mention she had a minimum until after she did my trial. It's not on her website and not in the informational email. In order to meet the minimum, we decided to add my mom and MIL into the schedule but this ended up changing our whole timeline for the morning at the last minute and, I had to wake up way earlier than I planned since she said it would take too long to set up at the Airbnb they were at, but OK. I did a trial with her a week before my wedding and the teasing really damaged my hair, I could barely brush it. My hair looked great during the first look, but it really didn't hold, and even by the ceremony it was falling out. Similarly, my MIL also had curls done and I noticed it didn't hold up either. Lastly, she overslept my trial (which she was very apologetic for). She offered a small discount, but I didn't really feel like it compensated for me taking the day off, spending a whole day driving to San Jose, waiting an hour, driving back, and then rescheduling. She was about 15 minutes late arriving to our venue, but it didn't end up setting our schedule back.
