Is Marina a true artist? Yes, she is, but that is an understatement. Is she a seasoned professional who truly knows what she is doing? Yes, she is, but that is an understatement. Marina basically does ***magic*** with her art, and that is what puts her in a category of her own. She did my make-up for a photo session with Creative Shot, at a very reasonable price, and I got all sorts of pictures for all of my various profiles on the web from that photo session. That was in November 2012, and now it is June 2013 but the stream of compliments on the pictures coming from various people still has not dried up! After awhile, I figured out why: Marina, when doing her magic, did not just bring out my eyes or accentuate my smile - clearly, she must have sprinkled a tiny bit of special magic powder onto her creation, and that magic powder made the pictures lucky. I found Marina through a friend at work. I had her do my makeup for my husband's Christmas party. It looked awesome. We tried two looks that day. One that was soft and very pretty and another one with cat eyes and red lipstick. I loved the cat eyes and red lipstick. It was so different than my day to day look. I recently took a personal makeup lesson from Marina. I am a complete novice at makeup and Marina was a great coach to help me understand the basic principles & techniques. She came to my home along with all her makeup materials (all Mac products & freshly cleaned brushes). She was very patient and detailed in her instruction. I was researching makeup artists to have for my engagement photo shoot, when I came across Marina! I wanted to find someone who did somewhat natural make-up, but could also get more bold and daring with the eyes. Marina did a fantastic job of doing this!
