Every time I've come here the employees have been super helpful. The most recent time Elle and Janet helped me find a light shine spray and deep conditioner. They have always helped me find package deals . The place is really organized and clean. I can count on finding what I need for my beauty needs for hair. Parking is easy, there's plenty! Management at this store doesn't train their people with standard procedures to accommodate the beauty industries needs. Unless management is on site, people working the register have no clue on how to set up an account without management being present. I've heard Santa Clara store is much better so taking my business over there from now on. read more

Everyone here is always so helpful! I often have to bring my daughter in w/me and they never look at me annoyed even when she's crying. I never have problems w returns or asking questions about products. I wish the store was bigger, that's my only complaint. Oh and the brush section kinda sucks here :( read more

CosmoProf is, well, CosmoProf. Those of us licensed know we have to come in here to get what we need, most of the time it isn't optional. They have a great selection, but the employees aren't much more than cashiers. When I ask for opinions or suggestions on things, I'm lucky if they have even heard of the product (besides where it is located) let alone can compare it to anything else. oh, and the credit card machine with dial up... I love this location, Cynthia is the best manager. She's helpful supportive to hairdressers, obviously because of her and all of her employees are very friendly and helpful. I've always enjoyed my shopping experience here. If you have not made this store your home store yet maybe we should consider do that soon, because they will take care of you! Cynthia, thank you so much for treating us hairdressers so well, I have never enjoy going to your beautiful supply store this much since you started working here. I have seen a lot store doesn't treat hairdressers like a customer because they know we have nowhere else to buy those supplies. I went to this beauty supply expecting it to be West Coast beauty supply apparently it was taken over by this company. I have to say it was not as good as west coast beauty supply (according to the reviews on yelp) While they were restocking the whole time I was there, they were fine with answering my questions. However, once I tried to actually buy my products they wouldn't accept my student permit. They said it was because it was out of state, I have been to a beauty supply in San Francisco that accepted my permit. I have been to a couple of beauty supply stores that have always accepted my permit. It wouldn't have bugged me except that they were rude about not accepting my permit. Also I was buying a lot of products so I don't understand why they weren't accommodating. Luckily, my mom has an esthetician's license so the trip wasn't a total bust. All in all if you just need a place to get beauty supplies and don't care about customer service then by all means go here. I know that when I do get my license I will not be shopping at cosmoprof! read more

Well, well, well... looks like no one has written a review for this business, and though I typically only write positive reviews, the store manager, Paula, has inspired me to grant her one single star. I am, of course, a licensed professional, as the store will only allow professionals to shop there, I came equipped with a copy of my professional license. I walk in well dressed, poised, and with a genuine smile on my face. I was greeted with dirty looks and bad vibes. I hold my head high, continuing to the wax section of the store. I can see Paula in my peripheral vision, continuing to look me up and down, as if I had done something to offend her. I quickly selected my wax and wax remover and proceeded to the register. Again, I flash my smile at the cashier, who was more helpful than Paula, but still didn't make up for the boss' shortcomings. The cashier asked if I had my CosmoProf card, I kindly explained that I had misplaced it, but showed her my professional license, thinking there shouldn't be a problem. She asked what phone number I had registered the card under, and I told her I could not remember. Paula then butted in to our conversation, rudely saying "why don't you have her call and update her information, since she changes her number so much". Then she scowled at me again! I was fed up by this point, so I returned the dirty look, trying to keep my cool and keep my thoughts to myself, since I wasn't in the mood to make a scene. Paula just continued to look and act bitchy and everyone should know that so they can avoid this store and maybe she'll lose her job and end up on the street where she belongs. Really, Paula, I don't know if you're jealous, racist, hate your job, or just a bitch... but no one gets stupid with me and gets away with it! read more

Very disappointed about they service, I order matrix color in 4 weeks now never get it and they never call me update, I been call them 3 times ask about they said will call me back in a couple of days when they get more stick in, but never did, I call again today and she said discontinue, and she ask me do I want to move forward to order it again? I ask if discontinued how U gonna order it, I think they forgot about to order and lie to customer, never go back there bad bad and very slacking with order stuff. read more

I was out of my favorite leave in conditioner and was across the street from this cosmoprof. I usually go to the one in Mountain View or Blossom HIll, but since I was close I thought I would pop in. I didn't have my card. To be honest I have left my card at home quite a few times going in here. It's hard to keep track of all of them. I grabbed the product I needed and headed to the front desk. I told the girl that I didn't have my card and asked if I could give her my number. She tried to call it in, but for some reason it didn't work. Alright, that's fine. Then things went downhill. She said it didn't work, and asked if I had a Sally's card. I do. She then told me that because I have the cards under the same number it isn't possible to look up my card number. Now as I mentioned before I have had cosmoprof look up my card before, with my cell phone number (not by my name). I just mentioned this to her and then she started getting rude. She told me I should just come back, or that I should check with customer service, but how that was impossible right now because they close at three (this she said to me like I was dumb). It is fine that she could not get the card number, but I don't appreciate how rude she was, and I will just go to the other locations or saloncentric from now on. read more

All I'm going to say is the black girl that works there has no customer service. doesn't really ever seem to know what's going on and they have product already out that they can't sell till January lol has anyone ever heard of that?! Lol what an inconvenience. I go to this store all the time mainly cause it's close but I would rather go to a different location for better and more accurate service. Don't waste you time there. New management better service! Much better inventory and they will even get you special orders. It's been a while but I thought I'd get back in here and try my luck. I was very impressed with the staffs attention to detail, they went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my shopping experience. I am very happy to know that I can come here and they have exactly what I need and if they don't they'll order it AND call me within a few days to let me know it in house!! Awesome!!! This is my favorite Cosmoprof location. I'm in this store a few times a month at least. The staff is always helpful, kind and friendly. I often ask for recommendations on products and have more than once been lead to something that I fall in love with. The location is nice and parking is easy. Every time I shop at this location the same overly bronzed girl is working. Her valley girl tone and "customer service" are always off putting to me. Today was the final straw for me as I witnessed the way she treated two elderly woman with utter disrespect and condescending words. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and afterwards felt the need to apologize to the women for the way they were just treated. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Literally have no idea why the service here is FAITHFULLY horrible. The workers always are either assuming your an automatic thief or they have harsh staring issues, they look and act miserable. Very unknowledgeable staff. Do not listen to their recommendations bec all their recommendations are very bias & only to promote the newest product/ product line, or maybe it was just Nichole. I came in purchasing wax & asked for the recommendation. Worked horrible! It was the blue strip-less wax & I had to pick bits off it was so painful. I came back after 60 days & ended up throwing it away bec their return policy. The other week I was in to buy my boyfriend some Rusk hair paste, & they were having a promo buy 2 get 1 free. I grabbed 3 Rusk Paste & when I got to the register Nichole had suggested getting a Glass or Glue bec it was a brand new product by Rusk (again pushing sales for the new product). My boyfriend hated & Nichole even said it was very similar to their Paste. Came back to return 2 items & was only refunded for 1 item bec of the promo. Had I know I wouldn't be able to EXCHANGE based on her poor recommendation I would NOT have gone with what she suggested for my boyfriend. Thanks for a waste of time & money Nichole. read more

I moved salons and now work in Campbell.How amazing it would be to have a Cosmo prof down the way. My first time going there would be my last time as long as these ratchets are working there. As a consumer we expect customer service. I spend hundreds of dollars at cosmoprof and these people are so unknowledgeable and rude they don't represent the Beauty profession nor industry. Every Cosmo prof I've been to they are nice and friendly. It's just this particular one and I am so bummed because this is the one right by my work. The manager looks like she rolled out of bed with sweatpants on, no make up with & dark eyebags & lots of attitude! I am not here to badmouth anyone but I saw what I saw, and it was not a good scene. !i asked about a specific product and The manager she's never seen it before, but I've found it right there. Again being a manager you should be knowledgeable of your products and what is in your store. I believe friends were visiting and there was a baby crawling all over the floor by the developers. It's dangerous stuff lots of chemicals with a baby crawling on floor! What a scene I came into! Not being friendly , no help, The manager in sweats with dark eyebags , baby crawling on the floor just ghetto, oh and I when I was ready to be rung out ,no one was even at the register ! Never go to this cosmo prof. They are so rude and unprofessional. Only asked what the things students are allowed to get and instead got a "First of all YOU are not a licenced proffesional therefore you are only allowed to get the basics" then I asked what are the basics and got attitude again without answering my question. Keep in mind I have been to this location before in the past I am a full time student and when my program began I was allowed to buy color and product. I am about to graduate and have been to this place in the past to really know who works there and the type of people they are. This new policy has just started to take place since about 6 months now. The only way students can buy color or bleach is if you have a typed note stating that an instructor/school is sending you to purchase specific things and even then you will probably get a big F U in the face just for asking a simple question without giving attitude. I would rather go to the location in blossom hill where I can actually get help NON LICENCED PROFESSIONAL tell me why I can't buy certain things. read more
