I love that this Ulta location is so close to my home and I no longer need to drive 15+mins to go to one. Every time I walked in here, I am greeted right away by the staff and they always ask if there is anything they can help with. I really love the combo of higher end prestige brands and more drugstore cost effective brands that really make this a one stop shop. They also have their salon in the back and I've come here to have my brows done at the Benefit Brow Bar so I really appreciate that I can everything done at one place! read more

On Friday April 4th, I had booked a makeup appointment for 10am for a Wedding I drove into town for. I was driving there and less than 5 minutes before I get there I received a call stating that the makeup artist who was scheduled to do my makeup called out and they were not going to be able to do my makeup. I told them the wedding time an my hair appointment time, and they said they would call me back to see if they can do my makeup before or after my hair. They never called me back. It was completely unprofessional and their lack of urgency to help me as I can't change the wedding time or anything was really disappointing that they were so nonchalant about the entire situation. I will never shop at an ULTA again. And yes All my family and friends at the wedding heard the story of what happened . Zero stars read more

I came to get my bangs trimmed and fix. When I got home I noticed my bangs were uneven.

I've always loved this location and genuinely love shopping here. Recently I've noticed a bunch of new faces so im guessing they're hiring quite a few new employees but the energy stays the same- welcoming and friendly. No matter how slow or busy it is when I come in, the girls always go out of their way to welcome every guest I see walk in and let them know to ask for help. Janet the manager is very helpful. She recommended me a lot of skincare products and did a shade match for my mom. It was spot on. Juanita was also very sweet. She had a kind attitude and made my checkout easy. She speaks Spanish as well so she was also able to help my mom out at checkout. Her and Isabela ended our shopping experience with laughs and compliments! Love coming here. read more

Anthony Do did a fabulous job with my hair. I got a blowout done and he listened to me and was really detailed oriented towards my hair. I love how we have an ulta beauty in our area! I didn't think much of it as I didn't know really what it was about, all i knew was Sephora. But Ulta has a lot of well known makeup brands as well as "cheaper" brands which I love! It has a lot of other things besides makeup, like hair and nail items and skincare. I really love this moisturizer and i wasn't sure where I would be able to buy it as it was just a sample and I found out Ulta Beauty carries it! Some of the people who work there are very helpful and someone helped me find a good foundation which i use whenever i go out! This place is my happy place! This is really ridiculous that charging people hourly for highlights. The hairstyler can do the job as slow as possible to charge you more. I have tried different salons and they charge you based on the length and volume and color of your hair, NOT hourly. read more

She wasn't going to stop cutting my hair I literally said "you're making me real nervous. Please don't cut anymore". My hair is thin and now I look crazy. I'm now home crying like wtf?! The location and ease of access to products is really awesome. I feel like this is one of the few Ultas that is well stocked with products, and maintains its cleanliness too. I've ordered online and picked up in store and it was super convenient. I ended up getting everything I needed and the website was true to the in store inventory, so no surprises happened! Thank goodness since I was in a pinch! Customer service feels like a bit of a dice roll, but it doesn't personally impact my shopping experience. I've seen people try to hunt down someone for help and have trouble finding someone available. Aside from that, I think this location is a great spot when you need products asap. I have been to Ulta's where displays remain empty and it feels disorganized. I think as a new location, there is still growth to be made and prove to loyal customers, but it's off to a pretty good start already. read more

This Ulta is situated in a lovely area with many shops nearby that I can visit at the same time, so I'm extremely happy that it opened up here. Although you'd think parking would be a hassle because it's in a plaza with other businesses like Whole Foods, Ross, CVS, Starbucks, and others, it's conveniently positioned near the end of the strip, which makes parking a breeze. It's much different from all the other San Jose Ulta layouts I'm accustomed to, so I have to go around searching for what I came for and wind up buying much more than I intended to, but it's okay. Prestige items are typically on the right side, while drugstore brands are on the left at other Ulta stores. In this specific store, prestige items occupy the full front of the space while drugstore products are located in the rear. Also, thanks to the redesign of the grab-and-go island beside the cashier, it's easier to see all of the products at once. The fact that I no longer have to go all the way to Saratoga to pick up Sunday Riley makes me happy as well. I'm especially overjoyed that this shop offers paper bags rather than plastic ones! This store is like a dream come true, with all of the testers still in brand-new condition even weeks after the debut date and everything being well-stocked. Trust me, this is the only Ulta location you will want to go to from now on. read more

Honestly, I hate this place more than anything. Unfortunately I'm older, they clearly avoid people like me. It's only the second time I've been here. Last time I spent about 100 bucks, and I desperately needed a few things today. I stood around looking for people no one acknowledge me. One sales person walked right by me while helping another customer but she cut literally in front of me and the woman she was helping looked at me like I can't believe she did that... Super friendly and helpful staff. This will now be my regular Ulta as I have never experienced such a friendly environment at any other location. I was honestly blown away by how friendly the staff was because a lot of the staff at other ultas for some reason are really stuck up and are annoyed to help you, especially if you are making a return. I was making a return and I feel awful making returns because I know they have to dispose of the product that didn't work out for me but the cashier didn't make me feel the slightest bit judged like other staff at other locations do. I made the return and even purchased a few products that the cashier recommended, which I ended up loving. Come to this Ulta! Excellent location as well. read more

This is a very clean, well stocked ulta. It's one of the nicer ones. The people inside are super friendly. I do want to give a special shout out to Vanessa B. at the benefit brow bar. She used to work at the plant location but moved here and I followed. I have bushy, curly brows and she keeps them neat and looking good even as they grow out. She can trim them without leaving holes/gaps. I've had a hard time finding someone who can style my brows throughout my life and she absolutely nails it. read more

She accompanied me a request that usually machine can not fixed( good luck to redeem a deal that on Ulta's website with an answer machine...I don't know how that would be turn out). Another girl ( I forgot to ask for her name) also try to make great recommendations Mari was also great, she gave me the restocks of La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C Face Serum when the front stuffs was ran out. Making my trip to the store to get a gift for my mom pleasant. The main reason why I also leave a review is if all these big store gone one day. The online stuffs will probably Jack the prices up. Every single time I come here to get my order, it's a bunch of ...staff who are QUADRUPLE checking my receipt to get my order and asking to see my ID a million times. It's never quick and easy getting my order here. If I'm doing a pick up order, I obviously paid for all the items, so why aremployees here at this location so reluctant to give me my order I PAID FOR...
