What was more frustrating was that my treatment ended up being only about 60 minutes instead of the 90 minutes I expected. Lunch was supposed to be included but was never provided, and I had to remind staff about the $50 credit that was also part of the package. I've been twice -- the first was a couples massage with my husband where I got a prenatal massage at 33 weeks and he got a deep tissue massage, and the second was another prenatal massage at 37 weeks. Both of my prenatal massages were by message therapist, Jun. I highly recommend booking with her. She is so gentle and attentive, and I've felt so safe and relaxed with her. I've done prenatal massages at other places, and I prefer Jun at Touch to Heal Spa by far. Getting a relaxing prenatal massage definitely makes a difference in physically and mentally helping me prepare for labor as a first time mom. Book with Jun! I ended up getting sick the evening before so we tried to cancel but could only leave a voicemail the night before. We called in the morning and rescheduled, paid the 50% cancellation fee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I ended up cancelling my rescheduled appointment 6days prior on account of the person who answered the phone that was rude.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I understand charging 50% for cancellations within 24hrs, your time is valuable, I get it. I paid it, and rescheduled for the following week no issues. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But if you're sick and contagious, and you are rescheduling, there should be some understanding. That's a responsible choice not to come into and appointments spreading your germs. Who would want to get a massage with snot dripping out of your nose?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As a health care professional myself I really appreciate if my patients cancel due to sickness, it stops the spread of disease. I don't want to get sick and I don't want people that are in the clinic at the same time picking up germs as well. I think they need to update their policies. Charge the 50% if it's a repeated cancellation or put the cancellation fee towards the their next appointment or something. We had a couples massage to start our honeymoon. My wife had an amazing massage. We splurged and added the hot stones. About 10 minutes into the massage, my therapist decided without consulting me that I needed a deep tissue massage, skipped most of the hot stones, and really went to work on my tension. While it was probably what my body needed, it wasn't what I wanted. I left feeling very unsatisfied and disappointed, but very glad that my wife had a nice experience. DO NOT GET A FACIAL. DO NOT. This review is for a facial that I received. For starters YES I HAD MY EARRINGS IN. MY CHOICE. I AM PAYING FOR A FACIAL NOT AN EAR REMOVAL! I chose not to remove my earrings because they have screw on backs and I was getting a facial and historically I have had many facials and never was required to remove it as... I am the customer and I know they are in and you are a trained professional! Anyway, there is absolutely no way she didn't see my face grimace when she drug the back of her hand up the back of my earring backs. OUCH! Then with and extremely rough cloth and abrasive back and forth on my chin and she would let the cloth slide up my ear. Then her extractions felt like a razor, I have never had a tool racked down my nose and chin with such pressure and aggression. No gentle extractions, full on rage removal. This earring situation happened every time she removed a potion from my face. At least 4 times. MISERABLE. GET THE MASSAGE. The best massage/stretch ever. The massage therapist gave one of the most thorough stretches which really added to the massage. She was amazing. Would not go back. I tipped 20 % because I could not tip individually. Ambience was really nice, starting from the lobby. I liked that there was an option for water and snacks. The prenatal massage was very relaxing, and I appreciated the hot towel wipe down after the oil (so you don't leave feeling sticky). My hubby and I booked a couple massage for his Marine Corp birthday and Veterans Day. The lowest cost couples massage is $270 for 60 minutes which isn't bad but it should at least be really good. I was expecting more, maybe because of the price, location and wonderful ambiance when you enter the facilities. FYI, this spa does not have a hot tub, sauna, etc.... But it's really nice inside. Honestly I was super excited for a nice relaxing massage since our work weeks are a bit stressful. My massage therapist was a bit shaky/nervous, we thought we were getting a Swedish massage but it felt like deep tissue. A lot of elbows, fast strokes, kind of hard rough stroking going on which takes away from relaxing. Really good massage therapist take their time and try to resolve your issues not find a knot and get annoyed with the knot lol. It's weird when you can feel the massage therapist is a bit annoyed with your knots or doesn't know what to do. It was odd and wasn't too relaxing. Plus it would of been great if they used oils during the massage instead of lotion which gives the massage a different feeling (cheaper feeling, not smooth)or wish they offered relaxing scents like eucalyptus oil, etc... it was a little better than those regular $25-$50 dollar 1 hour massages. read more

I tried Touch to Heal Spa for a massage. Overall the experience was just OK. It's a cute little spa located in a block of retail shops. Parking is challenging. A lot of the spots that were approved for retail parking had a 30-minute time limit, which is not going to work if you booked an hour massage. If you can't find parking behind the retail shops, you would just need to find neighborhood parking. Tip: when you come, plan for a little extra time for parking. The spa was small but cute. The staff was nice and friendly when I walked in. The waiting area is right next to the front desk. Snacks and drinks are available while you wait. Outside of that, my massage wasn't great. I asked to have special attention paid to my shoulders and upper back as that's where I needed work. The therapist barely worked on that area at all, and instead used heavy pressure on other areas. The bigger issue is that unfortunately, the room was quite cold, so I wasn't able to relax. For me, this spa wasn't someplace I would book again, but it's cute and the staff were friendly so it has that going for it. read more

The ambiance was spectacular. There was a waiting room with an option to lay in the relaxation room. Everything appeared clean and modern. There was a station for water, hot tea, and granola bars. There were relaxation activities, such as a gratitude journal and adult coloring pages. I was asked if I needed the restroom as soon as I got there. The staff was friendly and timely. I purchased a 90 minute deep tissue massage. The massage was about average. There was a lot of elbow use, which I don't prefer. Some strokes were faster when I think it could have been done a bit slower to relieve the tension. I did like the head massage. It was quite uncomfortable wearing a mask for a 90 minute massage, especially when laying face down. I thought I would not have to keep it on. The choice of music could be a bit more zen. Although the pressure was alright for the most part, I would have liked being checked in with on the pressure from time to time. My masseuse did check in with my when using hot stones to make sure the temperature was to my liking. I was disappointed that the Yelp check-in for a complimentary lip balm was not honored. I was told to purchase a gift card of $150 to receive the offer, which left a sour feeling in my gut after spending quite a bit on the massage package itself. The online booking system had some bugs and was difficult to schedule what I wanted. I had to delete add-ons and play around with the site to confirm the booking.
