Narai Thai is one of my fav massage spots. Great service, very clean, and friendly staff. I have tried both the Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, and love both. They also give a nice herbal tea after massage, which is very good. You can book massages online easily or even walk in. My husband and I were looking for a relaxing spa experience after a long work week and renovation responsibilities. This place is almost a 5 star so we decided to try them out. Although we asked for a Swedish massage we received a deep tissue Thai massage. My massage felt a little manic and not very relaxing. She used her forearms a lot and also tried to stand on me but it was a bit painful (I'm 5'4" 125lbs). The staff is really friendly and facilities are clean. Maybe we should have chose an early afternoon massage instead (they could have been tired)? If you need a deep tissue Thai massage this maybe the place for you. read more

Very disappointed! I go in and the woman shows no "gratitude" towards me as a customer. She wants to waste (5 min) on a warm up. If I pay for 60 min I want 60, not a 55 min massage. Jumping on team Narai. Nick performed a 60 minute Thai Combo massage on me and it was the best one I've had in a few years. To start, the studio is clean and quiet with authentic Thai decor. Five stars. The massage combined stretching and acupressure helped resolve some issues I have been experiencing in my back. I would not describe this as a "relaxing" massage, but it felt good and benefitted my well being. Five stars. The tea afterwards was a lovely touch. Five stars. I rarely tip more than 20%, but I did here. This place is worth a visit if you are in need of therapeutic massage. I called to book an appointment for Labor Day treatment for my family members. They told me that due to their manager is not at work, they cannot honor any online discounts for couple or group, or even this Yelp check-in one. I asked if they can help communicate with the manager, they said sorry but no one has the contact information. I understand it is not those ladies' fault. But it literally means that only when the manager is in the spa could the clients get any discount, that is not fair to those customers who want a massage on the days when the manager is off. Honestly the best massage I've ever had. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Lee after having a lot of muscle soreness from tennis and the gym and I immediately felt SO much better! This technique applies deep pressure to strategic points along your muscles and addresses the entire body. Perfect for an athlete or someone who exercises. Getting 90 minutes was great so all 4 limbs + head and neck had plenty of attention. There is also gentle stretching of the hamstrings, quads, shoulders, and low back. I will definitely be making this massage a part of my health and fitness routine and will ask for Lee again because she is very knowledgeable of anatomy and made me feel very comfortable. I booked a couples massage here for a special occasion as the pictures and reviews looked really good. When we arrived, we were greeted by someone who I felt never smiled in their life or probably has forgotten how to. We waited to be taken into a room and the same person showed up and took us to what looked like a solitary. It was tiny and dark and had 2 beds facing each other. We scooted our way to the beds and were asked to change inside the room. Then after we lay down on the beds ..the masseuses came in and started the massage.i could hear my wife wince and complain in pain very often and asking her masseuse to not do this and not do that...my masseuse was fine but it felt like though we both got the same massage, they were wildly different and not enjoyable at all. Over all it was a really expensive but very poor experience and this place definitely is not a "luxury spa" as the name claims. read more

The staff at this spa is really amazing. I always look forward to getting a Thai massage here. I have spoken to the manager or owner several times and she is very accommodating and friendly. The lobby is very peaceful and tranquil. All of the therapists focus well on all of my problem spots; I love to feel lots of pressure. The therapists walk on your back and use their knees to dig into every muscle that is tight with deep pressure. The assisted stretching that they incorporate into the massage helps relieve so much stress and tightness. The therapists are thorough, but also take their time. Decided to give Narai Thai Spa a try since I saw it on Groupon! I decided to see if they had an appointment on Friday evening since I saw an opening on their website. I decided to give them a call a little bit after they opened, but no response. Called a few more times after but still no response. Tried again about an hour or two later and they finally picked up. They were able to accommodate me for the opening I saw on their website with Shelyn. Narai Thai is on the second floor of a Los Gatos Plaza, right above See's Candies. No bathroom inside Narai, you will need to get a key from them to get in next door. They do request you leave your shoes at the door and wear their slippers. Hopefully they clean after use? They had me fill out a waiver before I was led to the room. I mentioned I wanted to focus on my lower back. I had a 90min groupon that didn't really specify which massage I was going to get. I saw a few other reviews saying they charge extra for deep/herbal. I was fine with whatever massage they were going to give me (assuming there would be enough pressure). Shelyn asked if I was ok with stepping on the back and I was fine. Underwear on! The room is on the smaller side. There is a small air filter in the room. No music, but you can kind of hear the music from the lobby. Massage overall was good. There wasn't much focus on the lower back until closer to the end when I had verbally requested it. Shelyn did check in from time to time to make sure the pressure was ok. I believe she used a mix of tiger balm/icy hot with oil, because the feeling was on the minty side (haven't had that experience before). I think I was shorted a few minutes (~5min), but not that big of a deal. In the end, I asked what kind of massage she had given me. She said it was the combo swedish/thai massage. I think next time, I may try the regular thai massage or deep tissue. I prefer the stronger pressure :) In the lobby, I mentioned I had the groupon and left a tip. Shelyn provided tea as well. All in all, good massage. Will be back! Groupon faithful's, purchase with confidence! I hope in the future, communication could be a bit better. Answering phones, communicating which massage I would be given prior, and focusing on target areas more. Having music in each room might be good too. Lots of parking in the plaza. Sawadeekap! The ladies here are very nice, well at least Bee, who greeted us was. Take off your shoes and put on the sandals and sit on the couch. Have some tea and fill out the form to let them know what parts you want to focus on. We reserved an anniversary massage for 2 hours. Tanya was the other masseuse. Bee was very talkative and made sure to ask me if the pressure was good and if I was comfortable. I think I did dose off a few quick seconds. This was a combination of Thai and Swedish. I would have preferred more stretching however Bee explained to me at the end that she wanted me to be more relaxed since it as my anniversary. Tanya is a little more rough around the edges. She may need a little more front desk training. Two guys came in after us and she was s little harsh in her speaking. But this may be a cultural norm as I have witnessed that while visiting Thailand. Honestly, this place is good but a little more expensive than I would have liked but it had availability when we needed it. I still prefer Tik Thai Massage near Blossom Hill and Sanchez Dr in South San Jose. I have never found any place better than that place. One of my patients spoke highly about Tanya here, and she did not disappoint! I got the Thai deep tissue massage for 90 mins and Tanya delivered! I'm a petite lady, 5 ft, and loft weight so decently thick frame(?) And I enjoyed her body work, along with stepping on my back and legs. Easy to schedule appointment online, and even last minute. Came by for a Thai massage the other day and it was a decent experience. Having travelled to Thailand where Thai massages can be had multiple times a day before and/or after some Thai food, I was excited to see another Thai massage parlor in Los Gatos. Parking was available in the private strip mall lot and/or on the street. Reservations were made online and outdoor footwear was swapped for flip flops upon entry. Some of the staff wore masks and all of the staff members I saw wore a Narai Thai Spa uniform. Requested a strong traditional Thai massage without oil and got a medium+ massage with plenty of stretching. Unlike other Thai massage parlors, this parlor didn't provide any clothes to change into. Requested for Kora online when making my appointment and was serviced by Alice... Alice, my massage therapist used her feet, arms, and hand to do the traditional Thai massage. The massage table was electric and could be adjusted up or down. The restroom is shared with the strip mall and requires a key from the front desk. $75/hour for 1st time visit + tip. read more

Right as I walked in I was greeted by Tanya. A very welcoming and kind person. I got a regular 1 hour Thai massage. I'm an Accountant so I work at a desk for 40 hours a week. I informed Tanya that my shoulders and neck are very fatigued, stressed and I have stiff areas on my neck. She targeted those areas and deep massaged them very well!! After the 1 hour session I was so relaxed and my body felt sooo much better especially my shoulders and neck!! Tension on my shoulders were gone, back felt so much better and my neck was relieved! WOW! I had a fantastic experience at Narai Thai from start to finish. I booked an appointment online via Groupon. It was my first time using Groupon so I had trouble pulling up the voucher when I arrived. However, both Kora, the owner, and Natcha, my massage therapist, were so sweet, patient and understanding. Even though it took me some time to figure out Groupon, I appreciated that they still honored my full 60 minutes and didn't cut my massage time. The inside of the spa is very clean and inviting. They take COVID precautions seriously (ie. temperature check, all are wearing masks etc). Natcha is AMAZING! I like very hard pressure massages to get out the knots and she certainly delivers. She could sense where I carried tension and helped me loosen it up. I felt so relaxed and stretched out after my 60 minute session. I booked a combo thai massage the other day at Narai and it was incredible. Kora did her work on me to get out knots that I didn't even realize were there. It was that feel good pain that I had to endure to feel better. After the massage I felt more relaxed and the tension in my muscles were relieved. Kora is skilled, strong, and really cares about her clients. She performed a variety of stretches that helped with the pain I was having and gave me pointers on exercises I could do at home to help out too. Excellent massage by Kora. In the past I've not liked a traditional thai massage because it was too much pressure for my back, but Kora seems to be extremely experienced and very receptive to my reactions and she altered the pressure accordingly making it a very fruitful experience for me. I also liked that when she found knots in my back, she kept at it even though it was slightly uncomfortable at the moment, but kept telling me that if she went any lesser with the pressure I'd go back home with the knot which is obviously not a good thing. I saw Narai on Yelp with good reviews / 5 stars and was able to book our appointment for2people. The place is clean and organized. Shoes were not allowed in the room but they provide slippers for their clients to use. After signing off the paperwork we were given a key to the bathroom if we need to and it's located next door. The place is quite pleasant and exudes a relaxing ambiance. No loud music No overpowering fragrant candles/ plug ins. My aunt gets a regular massage so she knows when a masseuse is knowledgeable. I was a little hesitant in trying out another Thai massage since my last one was a weeeee more painful than it should have been. BUT I am glad I gave Narai Thai a try because Shelyn was amazing!!! For such a petite woman, she is so strong! I received the combo thai & swedish massage for 60 minutes and it was worth every penny of it. Although they were about 15 mins behind, the staff were very welcoming and kept me updated. I highly recommend making reservations with them beforehand. Shelyn was very considerate throughout the session, making sure it was the right pressure. Please keep in mind that thai massages are different where they will stretch you, step on you, and combine other massage techniques into the works. She hit all the right spots strangely. Spots that I didn't even know I needed. I learned from her during the session since she asked if I was on the computer alot. She massaged certain muscles that's never been massaged before! Review #2 of Narai - Masseuse: Tanya I am a Thai massage expert. How? Why? I backpacked one year in Asia and spend significant amount of time in Thailand getting massages on a daily basis. I know a quality Thai massage when I get one. First time, I had Kora and she is the real deal. I was very impressed with her strength, skill and technique. The most legit Thai massage I have had in the states since coming back from Asia. Based upon my first excellent experience I booked again with Kora BUT..... Kora didn't massage me, Tanya did. At first I was a bit hesitant, hurt and sadden when Kora told me she wouldn't massage me. But I regained my self confidence told myself if they mess up I'll know not to come back. Off I go into the room and boy oh boy did Tanya do an excellent job. She asked me how I would like my massage and obviously as a big beef cake I said "strong" and she delivered. I was very pleased as you can imagine. She took her time, hit all my target points and got deep into the muscles. Her Thai stretching techniques were on point and did some stretches I have never had.... Wow! Overall excellent massage. I can keep going ... blah blah blah... but I won't. This is the best Thai spa I have ever been to. They were friendly and the booking was easy. The spa is nicely decorated and very clean with very comfortable and quiet rooms. I had a hot stone massage which was excellent. Everything was professional. I have a sore back from working out so my massage included stretching and range of motion. I opted for an hour. They provided a very soft bathrobe and water. I just booked another appointment. The owner asked me about my back. I think they take notes so they keep track of their client needs. After reading all the praise and recommendations for Tanya I made an appointment for a deep tissue massage with her. I would rate my experience 3/5 and here's why: - The lady at the front desk when I first entered the salon was not very friendly and almost made me feel unwelcome. - It was my first time at this place and I thought I was getting a massage from Tanya. Guess what? At the end of the massage, I just wanted to confirm with the lady that she was Tanya (she looked a bit different than Tanya's photo). She said her name was Bee and Tanya couldn't make it in today. It would've been nice if they had let me know and asked me if I wanted to reschedule or if I was ok with someone else. Bee did a great job but I made an appointment with Tanya based on recommendations. This is simply not professional and not acceptable. - The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because of Bee.
