2/25": late night Firm Swedish tissue massage is my nightcap to this rainy evening hee

This particular massage spa was recommended to me by a good friend who is very picky about places. So I knew this would be well worth it! I honestly haven't had a massage since before the pandemic so prices have drastically gone up, but the masseuse that did the massage was really well skilled! I also like the fact, there was a very relaxing and elegant, feel to the room. There was a air purifier in the room, along with some sort of essential oil, mister, and the massage table was heated!! You can always ask them to turn the heat up or down also! Mine was perfect! The lady that massaged me was very sweet and sensitive to certain parts I made mention at the front desk. She was very polite and thorough as she would pick up the sheet and tuck it in under my thigh as she massaged, but yet not revealing anything on my body. Very professional!! The lady that massaged me had a very unique name that started with the letter W, but I forgot her name. She was very sweet and and crack my body after the massage. I wouldn't mind getting a membership and going monthly now!! Specially, with all the cold weather we've been having!!

It was my first visit and I requested a female who can do a 90 min. deep tissue massage. There were same day appointments available. I scheduled my appointment for the following day. I was scheduled with Paula. She knew exactly how to help the pain in my back. She focused on releasing the pressure points at first and proceeded with a relaxing massage. The location was clean and Paula was very professional. The walls are thin because you can hear other people. The price was a little high, but Paula was amazing and is definitely worth it. I highly recommend her!

Cozy little nook at the end of the hallway with private massage rooms on either side.

My SO and I have been looking for a reliable massage spa. The Garden Spa popped up during our search with positive reviews, so we decided to book a couples massage for a Saturday morning. EXTERIOR/INTERIOR lots of effort to make it look like a garden oasis. There are lots of tropical plants inside and outside. Well-maintained space. HOST The friendly hostess verified our appointment and offered to make changes. We switched from Swedish to deep tissue and chose an essential oil scent from the display for the aromatherapy. MASSAGE The couples' room is spacious, well-organized, and clean. Although it is a single room, a short wall divides the two massage beds, providing privacy for each person. The beds are comfortable and heated for added comfort. I also appreciate the importance of the headrest, which features a soft, breathable covering. HIGHLIGHTS Both masseuses introduced themselves. My masseuse asked about the preferred pressure and focus areas for the massage. My masseuse addressed all the pressure points effectively. Both were professional, friendly, and attentive. Overall, we will be returning for more massages.

We tend to tip ~20% after each service (occasionally higher when we get our favorite massage therapists) We went last night and the lady with the Zelle name "Li Zhao" was quite rude. Instead of asking if we want to tip, she asked if I had Zelle. I knew what she meant and said yes. I did a rough math estimate for 20% for both therapists and sent the money. She asked if it was supposed to split for two therapists. I said yes she then said something to her coworkers and acted like it was not enough until a coworker said something back. She then turned around looking upset but still said thank you. We left confused and felt like she was judging us for tipping 20%? In my opinion, tipping should always be OPTIONAL but I will always tip for services knowing it is optional. Also here's the math: the total was $254 and I tipped $50 which is ~20%. I did the math in my head so I knew I maybe short with some change. When I do the calculation on a calculator it should've been $50.80. I was short $0.80 but I didn't think that much would be bothersome??? Giving 4/5 for all the good experiences. However for the lady, 1/5 for greed.

I went in, told them I was there for a prenatal massage and I wanted them to knead on my knots, I didn't want to be rubbed with oil. She seemed to understand English. I went in then room and she asked me to lay on my belly. I pointed at my belly and said Im pregnant. I should've left then but I gave her a second chance. Of course she put a lot of oil and started rubbing me. I asked for more pressure 5 times and she would go back to her normal pressure. She would just repeat one pattern over and over again on my legs and hands and back. In the middle of the massage, she asked me to lay on my back and I had to remind her I was 8 months pregnant and couldn't lay on my back. She said but I want to massage your head. Im like but Im pregnant, I can't lay on my back!! I was not happy so I tipped her low. She said this was a $95 massage and I said you don't know how to massage a pregnant woman. She just looked at me like she was not convinced. Then she followed me all the way to my car to get more tip. If you care about your tip money, please deliver good service. If you don't provide prenatal massage be honest and let your customer know! Don't expect to be tipped if you don't know the basics of massage.

I came in for a 90-minute Vital Premium Scrub and left completely transformed. First, the space itself: spotlessly clean, with none of the black mold issues I've seen creeping into older spas in the Saratoga area. That alone is a relief. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Young, and she is in a class of her own. Small but telling detail: she uses a gel face pillow so you can lay face-down comfortably the entire session. If you've had enough massages, you know how much a folded towel starts to hurt after an hour. I asked if this was a house standard -- it's not, it's just her. That kind of thoughtfulness sets the tone for everything. Her scrub technique was the best I've experienced in 20 years. No exaggeration. Her massage hit every trigger point without me having to redirect her once -- pressure, focus, timing -- all dialed in perfectly. The front desk staff were equally impressive: warm, attentive, and they personally walk new guests through the space so you never feel lost. The one area with room to grow: the aftercare products in the drying area. Having visited spas in Palo Alto, and even facilities in South East Asia, I've come to appreciate a quality face lotion and hair cream post-scrub -- especially when you're not carrying your own. A small upgrade there would make this truly flawless. Also worth noting: there's a communal lounge with 30 minutes of complimentary massage chairs, laptop workspace, and free WiFi. Hidden gem. ANDDD there's a cafeteria!! This is my new favorite spa. Hands down.

I've never done the full rotation of hot tub to dry sauna to steam sauna to cold plunge - it was genuinely painful. If you've never experienced this, be prepared to get your heart racing. I was expecting a relaxing experience, but the saunas will leave you out of breath, and the cold plunge will shock your system. It's supposed to be really good for detoxing your system, and I definitely felt like I sweat out a bunch of toxins. We really enjoyed the massage chairs after this whole rotation and showering. The massage chairs are super comfortable and have a variety of massage options. It was so soothing that I fell asleep during my massage. There are a variety of popular scrub massage options that I did not try this time around. The downstairs co-ed dry saunas were a bit underwhelming. The saunas were comfortably warm and had blankets to rest on. These saunas didn't seem to be for the purposes of detoxing since they were at a moderate temperature. I was so comfortable that I ended up falling asleep in multiple rooms lol. Bay Spa was the perfect introduction to Korean spas, and I will definitely be returning!

Lucy and her therapists know exactly the spots to rub and push out and they use a variety of sophisticated techniques--even "walking" on the back use toes like fingers to press out spots of tension. Truth be told, it is a newer business and things don't go perfect every time, but Lucy is very gracious and professional if there's ever a schedule mix-up or if a therapist used happens to fall below expectations (rare), Lucy always goes out of her way to make it right. Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience from Start to Finish…read more My friend purchased a Groupon deal for a therapeutic massage for my birthday, and I was really looking forward to it. I haven't had a massage since I gave birth, and given how stressful things have been, I was excited to finally relax. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the very beginning. The woman at the front desk initially did not want to accept our vouchers. She called the manager, who then told us to cancel our Groupon vouchers and pay them directly instead. This was extremely inconvenient, especially since there is no guarantee that Groupon refunds go through right away and can take 3-5 business days to process. We declined, but they continued to push us to pay upfront even though we already had valid, prepaid vouchers ready to use. It wasn't until I said, "Are you saying we can't be seen today? Because we are not going to cancel our vouchers," that they finally agreed to take us back. During the massage, the two masseuses kept talking to each other and laughing. Instead of being in a calm, relaxing environment with peaceful music, it felt distracting and uncomfortable. The constant talking and laughter made me feel uneasy, and at times it even felt like we were being talked about. The situation got worse at checkout. We both left a tip, and when they asked how much we would be tipping, one of the masseuses said in her language to the other, "She's only tipping ____," and they both laughed. Then the other masseuse responded, "How about ____?" This felt extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. Tipping should be based on the customer's discretion, not something that is commented on or suggested in that way. Overall, this experience was far from relaxing and left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I will NOT be returning.

YMMV. I took my daughter for a head spa day. We've been dying to try this place out and were very…read moreexcited for our visit. Everything is super clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. From the moment we entered, we felt like a priority to them and were well attended to. They start with a close up review of your scalp, which is fun to see. Then they recommend a service and take you to change your top and put on slippers. From there you're escorted to your wash table. The wash is very thorough. My service with Linda was enjoyable and relaxing. Her touch is so gentle! Very soothing. After the wash, you move to a big fluffy chair and are reclined for drying and scalp massage. They have several tools to help massage the scalp. All this is followed by a short neck and shoulder massage... much needed after a long day! A few things that were less positive: my daughter enjoyed her treatment far less than I did. It really depends who you get I suppose. She said she had very little massage and just felt like getting her hair washed at the hair salon. I don't think she'd go again. Also, the pictures show a shower arch that streams water while your head is massaged, but that wasn't anything we saw or experienced. Disappointing for sure - it's something we were looking forward to experiencing. While they do dry your hair, it's not likely you'd want to go out in public after. The products that were supposed to be for a sensitive scalp left my hair dry and scalp extremely itchy, and brushing out my curly hair had it looking a frizzy mess. The shampoo smells very nice and fruity. I just didn't get a sense they were good quality products. All in all, an enjoyable and relaxing experience for me (not a shared opinion), but I don't know that I'd do it again given how irritated my scalp felt after.

They were very professional. I went with my friend and we both had great masseuse. Usually I feel like one is better than the other but both were great. Overall the ladies were all good and the massage was great as well. They also let you wear their clothes so your clothes don't get wet either. They also blow dry your hair to the dryness of your liking.
