I've been to korean spa in the past but it was my first time coming to this place. If it is your first time coming here, they do a tour of the place after you pay at the register. There are two levels. Downstairs are where co-ed area which you will need to wear the clothes provided. The downstairs includes dining area where you can order food or drinks or you can go to any of the rooms which include clay, salt, jade, and cold. You can lounge around in the open space too if you want to. For the upstairs is where the other amenities. Both men and women room are separated of course. The amenities room upstairs includes dry and wet sauna, showers, hot jacuzzi, cold pool....this is also where you get your scrubbing....you have to be fully nude when using these services. I had the 60 minutes which is 30 minutes scrubbing and 30 minutes of massage/face mask/hair wash. They will scrub every inch of the body. There is also common area of the massage chairs. Probably will come here next time

I've come here usually once or twice a year and usually bring out of towners. It's a nice place for a girls day (and if you're fine potentially seeing eachother naked). No swimwear/underwear in the sauna/pool area. They limit you to five hours at one time and you can literally spend five hours there and more because they have food there as well. Nice place to come and relax!

We were greeted with very friendly service and given a tour of the facility upon arrival. The spa has two floors and three special rooms: a salt room, clay room, ice room, plus a heated floor lounge and a food/dining area. We shared japchae, donkatsu, and a kalbi combo plate between the three of us, huge portions and absolutely delicious. Korean spa food can sometimes be hit or miss with sweetness, but theirs was perfectly balanced and not too sweet at all. Upstairs has all the typical spa amenities: showers, steam room, dry sauna, hot jacuzzi, and cold plunge pool. Note that no clothing is allowed in the bath/sauna area, which is standard for Korean spas. Toiletries are provided (including toothbrushes), and there are blow dryers, lotion, and hairspray available as well. My only minor critique: the towels were quite thin and a bit ragged, and I was given one full-size towel and two small towels, which wasn't quite enough for the entire visit. My sister and friend did the 90-minute scrub and massage, which they said was excellent. I opted to relax in the sauna and also spent time in the full-body massage chair lounge, which was great. We arrived early at 10am, so it wasn't crowded at all, but it definitely picked up around noon and later. The price was well worth it, and with admission you can stay up to five hours. We stayed the full five and the time flew by. This was our first visit, and we truly enjoyed it. We're already planning to return for another day spa experience. Ample parking available. Highly recommend!

Writing from the massage chair as I wrap up my first visit -- and I am already a regular. This place was a Mother's Day gift, and what a gift it was. I came in for a 90-minute Vital Premium Scrub and left completely transformed. First, the space itself: spotlessly clean, with none of the black mold issues I've seen creeping into older spas in the Saratoga area. That alone is a relief. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Young, and she is in a class of her own. Small but telling detail: she uses a gel face pillow so you can lay face-down comfortably the entire session. If you've had enough massages, you know how much a folded towel starts to hurt after an hour. I asked if this was a house standard -- it's not, it's just her. That kind of thoughtfulness sets the tone for everything. Her scrub technique was the best I've experienced in 20 years. No exaggeration. Her massage hit every trigger point without me having to redirect her once -- pressure, focus, timing -- all dialed in perfectly. The front desk staff were equally impressive: warm, attentive, and they personally walk new guests through the space so you never feel lost. The one area with room to grow: the aftercare products in the drying area. Having visited spas in Palo Alto, and even facilities in South East Asia, I've come to appreciate a quality face lotion and hair cream post-scrub -- especially when you're not carrying your own. A small upgrade there would make this truly flawless. Also worth noting: there's a communal lounge with 30 minutes of complimentary massage chairs, laptop workspace, and free WiFi. Hidden gem. ANDDD there's a cafeteria!! This is my new favorite spa. Hands down.

Went here with a coed group and spent about 4 hours (max time is 5). Day passes are $40, and they give you an electronic key bracelet for your locker, plus a t-shirt and shorts to wear in the lounge areas. We arrived early around 10 am, which I'd recommend! Fewer people and everything felt freshly cleaned. The spa isn't "luxury," but it's fairly clean and cozy. We started with the complimentary 25 min massage chairs, then split into the separate locker rooms. In the women's area there are saunas, showers, hot tubs, and a cold plunge (no clothing allowed). Afterward, we met back up in the coed areas, which include a cold room and three hot rooms. Plenty of space, no issues with crowding (at least in the morning when we went). Finally, we ate at the cafe once it opened. I got the beef tofu soup ($22 including tax + before tip) and my bf got the spicy kalguksu. Prices were on the steeper side, but the food was tasty and felt like part of the full jjimjilbang experience. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing, and unique activity to do with friends. Don't expect high end spa amenities, but if you're looking for a cozy spot to unwind for a few hours, this is a solid choice.

Had a little spa day here with my best friend since her and I share a stressful life which results in neck and back pain in our late 20s. When we both lived in SoCal, we would go to the Korean spas together and we were both surprised when we found this gem in Santa Clara!!! First off, we were so obsessed with the massage chairs... we melted in those chairs until our time was up (ok we maybe stayed like 5-10 extra minutes because it felt way too good, you can't blame us ). Then we made our way to the main heat rooms and enjoyed our time there. Ended of course with the ice room. The facility itself was very clean and I really liked how non-crowded it was either. The front desk ladies were so kind and accommodating and we were even shown around as it was our first time there. It was a lovely experience and we left very relaxed!! I would def go again, no hesitation.

Much better experience this time around. The front staff people were very accommodating with the appointment times and let me reschedule when my friends were running late. They even gave me the option to move my time so we could all have our appointment at the same time. My appointment for my Korean scrub and massage started on time and Ahjumma Helen was very kind and put just the right amount of pressure during the massage. My only complaint was that a bunch of the massage chairs weren't working; either that, or I'm just unlucky! I was playing musical chairs in that room. I usually forego the sauna and steam rooms since the rooms downstairs are also heated. Always refreshing to end on the ice room after all that heat!

Good escape for your birthday week? Absolutely. It's not a huge Jjim-Jil-Bang Korean Bathhouse, but it's quite casual and comfortable inside. $40 day pass is good enough to hang around/sleep around/dip around/lounge around for hours. Facial & massage services are optional. Less crowded during weekday mornings at opening hour too. Pay upfront. Staffs are friendly if you need to tour around. Yes, the cafeteria is worth checking out if you want a $22 tofu stew meal or $5.50+ milk tea beverage (all taxes already included in price). Decent and good tasting. Authentic flavors. Staffs in the cafeteria are very low key here. Put away your own tray afterwards. Spas & saunas are perfect to avoid stress, unnecessary distractions or noises. Wear your assigned key on your wrist. Shoe locker and personal locker will have same number as your key. Place your shoe inside your locker and grab a slipper. Definitely read signs everywhere and don't violate rules. Co-ed area includes salt room, clay room, ice room, etc. Massage chairs upstairs are worth the 15-30 minutes or longer. Very quiet with lots of places to sit. Not bad for taking showers or dipping into hot tuns/pools or sitting in a sauna. People bring their friends (especially in women's locker room area), so it may get loud at times. The place is packed with your day spa needs. I will be back again. Fun and enjoyable for relaxation. Public parking lot had lots of parking spots. If you like the Croissante bakery, it's only a few doors away from here and very convenient. My seafood tofu stew meal was excellent. It included big red shrimps just the way I like it. Not too spicy. Mango fruit milk tea was not overly sweet compared to other places. Appetizers and bingsoo looks legit and delicious. Order at cafeteria kiosk. I had a great day, but I wish the place was much bigger because it felt small for me. Plus, beware of the Clay Room because it's very easy to fall into those unstable clay balls or fall full body backwards. Hands will hurt. I wish they would post a warning notice on the door. Overall, ice room was a favorite.

The name Bay Spa sounds like Baseball. We have had many communication confusion in my family because of that. $40 for a day pass covers: wash, soak in a cold tub, hot tub, hot sauna, wet sauna, salt sauna, clay sauna, jade sauna, cold room. There is also a complimentary massage chair room. My daughter and I came on a quiet Friday to relax for about 3 hours. We had a great time hanging out together. She brought face masks and rolled up cute lamb head towels for us to use while sitting on the massage chairs. My only regret was not bringing a hair band to tie up my hair. We did not eat in the cafe but next time, we will definitely try that.

ame here with a group of coworkers and friends for a Korean-style spa experience. Overall, it was a solid visit with some clear pros and a few drawbacks. The body scrub service was the highlight -- very thorough and well done. The scrub itself was around $130 per person (tip not included), and I felt refreshed afterward. The staff doing the scrubs were professional and experienced. That said, the scrub area is completely open, more like a shared room with multiple tables, so there's very little privacy. If you're someone who prefers a private or quiet setting, this is something to be aware of. On top of that, during our visit there were kids running around and being loud, which took away from the relaxing spa atmosphere. Facilities are decent, and going with friends definitely makes the experience more comfortable. I'd recommend it if you're mainly coming for the scrub and don't mind a more communal, busy environment. Good experience overall, but privacy and noise control could be improved -- hence 4 stars instead of 5.

I remember this for the 90's

My friends and I came here for a 30 mins scrub and it did not disappoint. Only grip was I should've gotten an hour scrub + massage. I've gotten scrubs many times before so I can tell you that it's a must at least once in your lifetime. BUT let me warn you once you do it you'll be hooked! Scrubs takes off all the dirt embedded in your skin and makes you feel all soft like a baby again. The ladies here were very nice and the person working the front gave us a tour of the facility when we started. *Make sure to arrive early to use the facilities before your appointment. It recommended to do a 20 min hot soak before getting scrubbed.

Can anyone verify if the service providers (massage therapists, facialists) how they are getting paid or even paid fairly?

How big are the baths? The photos show small rectangular tubs for hot and cold. I miss Lawrence Health Spa's big pools.

They're about 7' x 4'. Three people can be in one with room to spare. Not quite as large as Lawrence Health Spa.

    Do you do couples massage?

The couples massage is offered on their website. Not sure if it's performed in the same room or separate.

Is the admission pass include all day access like in Korea?

Yes. This is unlike the majority of other spas which limit visitors to 2-3 hours. All the more to enjoy the large and varied facilities.

Review for Immersion Spa ‍…read more I absolutely loved this place, and to this day, I still miss it. When I lived in the Bay Area, I was a faithful and loyal customer at Immersion. It became one of my favorite self-care rituals. I would bring family and friends, and I went regularly--about once every quarter. It was something I always looked forward to. There is currently no Korean spa in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I live now, and the closest option is in Atlanta. So yes... boo-hoo. Nothing quite compares to this experience. What made Immersion special was the sense of freedom and relaxation the moment you walked through the door. The spa is thoughtfully organized, very clean, and beautifully maintained. You store your belongings in secure lockers, receive a waterproof wristband, and then the entire experience begins. I always arrived at least 90 minutes before my massage so I could fully enjoy the amenities. That extra time was part of the magic. My favorite features included: * The hot tub and invigorating cold plunge * The wet sauna and dry sauna * The gentle, calming warmth of the Himalayan salt room * Complimentary roasted tea and water * High-quality bath and shower products in the women's area * A peaceful, well-run environment with clear structure and cleanliness standards Everything felt intentional and relaxing. My go-to service was always the Fusion massage, which blends shiatsu and deep tissue techniques using organic coconut oil. The therapists were incredibly skilled and intuitive--they knew exactly how to work out tension and restore balance. Some of the best massages I've ever had were here. Over the years, prices have increased slightly--as they have everywhere. I remember paying around $100 before COVID, and later seeing it closer to $130. Even so, the value of the experience made it worth every dollar. I was there hook, line, and sinker. A few practical notes for future guests: * Parking is limited and shared with neighboring businesses (including Kumon), so timing matters * The spa has separate men's and women's areas * No outside shoes are allowed inside the spa * Clothing is optional in designated areas, which is standard for Korean spa culture * Plan to arrive early to fully enjoy the amenities before your service One service I personally never tried was the traditional Korean body scrub. I watched others experience it, and while many people love it, it looked a little too intense for my taste. That said, the massages and spa amenities are absolutely exceptional. If you're considering a membership, it's worth exploring. This is the kind of place that becomes part of your routine once you experience it. I still haven't found anything in the Southeast that truly matches the level of service, atmosphere, and overall experience of Immersion. I keep looking--but this one set the bar very high. Treat yourself. You deserve it.

I'll start by saying that Mark was absolutely fantastic, and I'll get back to him in a moment. As for Watercourse Spa itself, I've been coming here for many years, and I honestly think it's time for a renovation. The facility is starting to show its age. During my massage, I couldn't help but notice a large stain on the ceiling above me. The sink in the treatment room also appeared quite dirty. I had planned on taking a shower after my massage, but after using the restroom and seeing the shower area, I decided against it because both the shower and bathroom looked like they needed a much more thorough cleaning. Another thing that stood out to me was the massage table itself. When I laid down, the sheets weren't very soft, and the blanket covering me felt rough. When I visit a spa, I expect plush, freshly laundered linens that feel luxurious against the skin. Soft sheets, fluffy blankets, a spotless environment, and a relaxing atmosphere are all part of what makes a spa experience feel truly indulgent. Those little details make a big difference and help create the comfort and tranquility that guests are paying for. It's a spa I've always enjoyed visiting, which is why it was disappointing to see it in this condition. I truly hope management invests in renovating the facility, replacing worn linens, and paying closer attention to cleanliness and upkeep. The spa has so much potential, and with a few improvements, it could once again feel like the relaxing retreat it was meant to be. Now, onto the highlight of my visit--Mark. He was an absolute sweetheart and an exceptional massage therapist. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable. We spoke about a few personal issues related to why I needed certain areas of my body worked on, and he took the time to offer thoughtful advice and even recommended some helpful resources. I genuinely appreciated his kindness and willingness to help. Mark was wonderful to both my husband and me. His experience truly shows--he's been a massage therapist for over two decades, and it was evident throughout the entire session. He applied excellent pressure during my deep tissue massage, took his time, and never made the treatment feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and takes pride in his work. If you're looking for an outstanding massage therapist, look no further--Mark is your guy. Lastly, I'd also like to compliment the front desk staff. They were warm, welcoming, and professional. My only hope is that the spa invests in renovating and better maintaining the facility so it matches the quality of the excellent therapists who work there. The staff and therapists deserve a space that reflects the same level of care and professionalism they provide to their guests.

It is finally time for me to write a review on this place…read more A bit of background is that I've been dealing with an asthma flareup that has made it difficult for me to walk even a block without getting out of breathe. Before my flare up, I was at the gym regularly with pretty good cardio. A friend of mine suggested I go and try a session with her. I was admittedly pretty wary since I didn't see how sitting in a room of salt would make a difference. I went and after the session, I noticed I could walk and jog without issue. I was even able to get a good gym session in the next day! I've asked my pulmonologist about it and he said that it is indeed a thing and also offered me a corresponding medical treatment. With that and this, my breathing is slowly but sure improving overall rather than just spurts here and there. Avery, the owner, if friendly and knowledgeable about how each of her services work. You can call to book or schedule online. Either way works and it is super easy to do. The chairs are comfortable and you can lounge in them. There are also some yoga mats if you want to use those. You do need to bring clean socks (or you can buy a pair for $2!) to bring to each session. I have also used the individual booth sauna which has a setting to allow you to get salt inhalation too. You can use it as a sauna or, I can't handle heat so, you can have a low heat place to yourself. There is also a community room where you book a spot and you may share the room with others so be respectful! There are other services here too but since I've never used them, I won't give any opinion. Parking is plentiful here too. I definitely recommend this to people with health issues and those that just want to relax. There is a reason why back in the day doctors recommended going to the beach :P They might not have known the science behind the benefits but they knew! I really do recommend this and I do have about it to friends. :)

The salt booth works like a sauna with the added benefits of sea salt therapy and light therapy all combined. They have Salt therapy rooms used by groups and wellness rooms that offer massages. This is a good place to take your partner and relax together.

If you're shopping for a hot tub and want a very knowledgeable, no-pressure buying experience, ask…read morefor Liam at Spa & Sauna Company. I've honestly never left a review on Yelp or Google before, but this experience was so good that I felt compelled to share it. I recently purchased a hot tub for my family from Spa & Sauna Company, and Liam made the entire process exceptional from start to finish. Before visiting the store, I had done some research on the type of hot tub we wanted, but once you start looking seriously, the number of options becomes overwhelming--different brands, sizes, salt systems vs. traditional sanitation, lounge seats vs. no lounge, installation considerations, maintenance, and more. When I walked into the store, I appreciated that I could browse for a bit without anyone immediately approaching me with a sales pitch. At just the right moment, Liam came over, introduced himself, and let me know he'd be happy to help if I had any questions. What followed was honestly one of the best sales experiences I've ever had for a major purchase. Liam took the time to really listen to what I was looking for. He walked me through several options and clearly explained the pros and cons of different models--including both less expensive and more premium options. At no point did I feel pressured toward a particular model or add-on. The conversation felt informative, relaxed, and genuinely helpful, and it ultimately helped us find the perfect hot tub for our family. But the support didn't stop after the purchase. Liam helped us think through the best location on our deck for installation, worked through the delivery logistics quickly and smoothly, and has continued to be available afterward to answer questions. As first-time hot tub owners, we had plenty--everything from chemicals and temperature settings to water balance and general maintenance. Liam has been incredibly responsive and helpful through all of it. We've now had the hot tub for about a month and our family absolutely loves it. Like I said, I've literally never written an online review before, but this experience deserved one. If you're looking for a hot tub and aren't sure where to start, Spa & Sauna Company has a great selection--and if you want someone knowledgeable who will guide you through the process without any pressure, ask for Liam.

Great job purging, draining and cleaning our hot tub. Will use them again next year!read more
