It is finally time for me to write a review on this place. A bit of background is that I've been dealing with an asthma flareup that has made it difficult for me to walk even a block without getting out of breathe. Before my flare up, I was at the gym regularly with pretty good cardio. A friend of mine suggested I go and try a session with her. I was admittedly pretty wary since I didn't see how sitting in a room of salt would make a difference. I went and after the session, I noticed I could walk and jog without issue. I was even able to get a good gym session in the next day! I've asked my pulmonologist about it and he said that it is indeed a thing and also offered me a corresponding medical treatment. With that and this, my breathing is slowly but sure improving overall rather than just spurts here and there. Avery, the owner, if friendly and knowledgeable about how each of her services work. You can call to book or schedule online. Either way works and it is super easy to do. The chairs are comfortable and you can lounge in them. There are also some yoga mats if you want to use those. You do need to bring clean socks (or you can buy a pair for $2!) to bring to each session. I have also used the individual booth sauna which has a setting to allow you to get salt inhalation too. You can use it as a sauna or, I can't handle heat so, you can have a low heat place to yourself. There is also a community room where you book a spot and you may share the room with others so be respectful! There are other services here too but since I've never used them, I won't give any opinion. Parking is plentiful here too. I definitely recommend this to people with health issues and those that just want to relax. There is a reason why back in the day doctors recommended going to the beach :P They might not have known the science behind the benefits but they knew! This is my first experience at Sea Salt Therapy. I had the sauna and the salt room. The sauna room was dry heat and for sweating to detox, the salt room with salt on the ground was relaxing on a recliner. I put conditioner on my hair and wore a shower cap. I saw a friend post about this place and decided to give it a try. I did the infrared sauna booth with my husband. I loved that the room was private and clean. You can adjust the heat level within the sauna and choose a light frequency to keep the light on. I found our session to be very relaxing and felt rejuvenated after. I swung by after an appointment across the street and I wasn't sure what to expect as i've never tried salt therapy before so i went in and thankfully they were able to accommodate me. They have a specific start time for sessions due to cleaning and organizing in between but there was no one else in the room that day so I was able to get a spot. The room is relatively dark with salt blowing through the pipes and you just get to relax on the chair for 45 minutes. While I don't really understand the salt benefits, the entire ambiance of this place is very soothing so I walked out relaxed anyways. Love this place! I have been 3 times now and can't wait for my next session. Let me start off by saying their 12 sessions (mix and match) for $165 is fantastic! One session allows you can choose between a sauna, salt room or the table massage (jade rollers). Want to bring a friend? You can! They'll take one of your sessions. Salt room - really bad ass. It's extremely relaxing. I have only been in the private room so far and love it. Table massage - this is amazing! I have done this twice so far and it has helped relax me. I have done salt room sessions in both the community room and the private room - all are wonderful in their own way. The private room is great for a session with a few girlfriends to catch up while the community is perfect for if it's just me needing a relaxing session in the salt. If you haven't tried a salt room you're missing out. This was such a relaxing experience and great way to spend time with friends. We came on a Saturday afternoon and had plenty of space for parking which was already a relaxing start. The waiting room was a little warm but had a very relaxing feel with how they decorated it and spa music playing. The front desk girl was so sweet and very helpful. You are given a reusable tote bag to store your belonging at the beginning. MAKE SURE TO REMEMBER SOCKS as it is a rule to wear socks in the rooms. You are welcome to bring a blanket and headphones if you want. I brought a blanket but the temperature was perfect so we didn't end up needing it. For those with kids the salt rooms have small chairs and toy box which was a great surprise. At the end of our 45 minutes we were gently informed that our time was over with no rush. If you haven't been I encourage you to try out sea salt therapy. This was such a relaxing experience and I can honestly say I do feel like I can breathe better now. read more

I saw an ad to Sea Salt Therapy on Instagram, which popped up at the right time. I used to frequent float spas pre-pandemic and was ready to get back into a sea salt wellness routine once businesses started opening up. I've been inside wet saunas before, but I was highly intrigued by the experience of being in the salt booth where I would get the benefits of halotherapy, chromotherapy, and dry infrared heat. I also had never heard of the Migun table before, so I added that to my session. I had such wonderful first time experiences with both the salt booth and Migun table. I left my session feeling deeply relaxed but also rejuvenated. Straight up, I took a nap in the salt booth and let the magic happen within. I sweat out toxins, absorbed the glorious sea salt, and bathed in healing light. I particularly was keen on the chromotherapy. I tend to have autoimmune challenges and inflammation, so I manually changed the light to support my need in that moment. The Migun table was quite unique! It had jade rollers that did a great job of simulating what felt like a Swedish massage to me. The table also used the same infrared heating technology. Lastly, Avery and Janis are the best! I love going into the Salt Booth solo - it's located in a private room where the door locks so you can choose to be fully dressed, dress down or even chill in ya birthday suit ;) It give many benefits including halotherapy, chromotherapy, and infrared heat technology. Chromotherapy was new to me and it's nice they provide a "menu" that gives you the different benefits of each light. I connect my phone via Bluetooth and enjoy some guided meditations & healing frequencies. They adjust the temperature to your liking, I go lower at around 117F. It's so calming and I feel so relaxed after. The session lasts for about 45 minutes. Lately, I've been visiting with my family. We always go for the private Salt Room experience. Your first time can be pretty intense so just prepared for it. You'll start to cough and your nose may run. You can remove your mask once inside the room. There are toys for the kiddos and chairs set up all around. They have a TV with Netflix & Disney+ and tissues for when your nose starts to run. I find the day after it helps my little ones when they have a cough or runny nose! It's amazingly healing. I recommend signing up for a monthly membership so you can visit frequently, like me! Husband and I came to Sea Salt Therapy to have a relaxing date night and we definitely were treated with a very relaxing time at Sea Salt Therapy. First and foremost, Janis and Avery who both own the business are AMAZING!! We came in and felt very welcomed as they greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. The reception area was very tidy, very welcoming and very bright. The overall feel I get from this business is warmth, cleanliness and relaxation. Janis was actually very cool to walk us through the entire facility to show us all the things Sea Salt Therapy offers and will offer in the future (massages). As for the sea salt room that my husband and I relaxed in, it was so pretty! The walls were white covered with sea salt, the floor was covered in sea salt, the 5 adult chairs and 2 children's chairs were placed spaciously in the room and even a TV for us to watch Netflix on! It was quite comfortable and once the sea salt started blowing in the room through a machine, it actually was pretty cool. We felt the effect of the sea salt in our noses almost immediately. I never knew this place existed. It's tucked away in a corner of a plaza with Wing Stop, and never saw it driving by. I found this on Class Pass and since it was so close to where I live, I decided to try it out! Walking in, this place is so serene! The small lobby has some chairs in it, some nice decor, and a sign in area. After signing in, I mentioned I had never known this place existed, and the lady gave me a small tour. There are a number of wellness rooms where different practioners practice in there, there are a number of different salt rooms and the migun room. The Migun physiotherapy massage room had two beds in it. When I came, I had the room to myself! I had never tried it before, but you lie on the bed and it's like a massage under you with infrared heat on top. It was incredibly relaxing! I absolutely loved it. My session was 34 minutes and there is a beeper to tell you when it's done, in case you fall asleep! I also got to see the salt room, which the lady told me all the wonderful benefits of sitting in a salt room, and they even have group rooms where you can bring a group of people or even your family to have your own private room.
