I cannot say enough good things about my experience at this salon. I came in feeling defeated and scared that I was going to lose all of my hair and have to get a pixie cut because of how badly matted it had become. Instead, I was met with so much kindness, patience, and empathy from every single person who helped me. Aida and Nura took their time detangling my hair and were unbelievably patient and gentle throughout the process. They truly did not give up on me, even when the situation felt overwhelming. Their care and determination made it possible for me to keep my long hair when so many others might have just cut it without a second thought. Rina cut my hair beautifully, and Rhoni, who was the original stylist I booked with, was also so kind and empathetic. What touched me even more was that everyone in the salon came together with ideas on how to help fix my hair. I felt supported, cared for, and never judged. This experience meant so much to me. They gave me hope when I felt embarrassed and overwhelmed, and they treated me with such compassion every step of the way. Review for the "Serenity Scalp Treatment/Head Acupressure" Service My hair: straight, bleached/colored This was a special treat for myself. I had only had one other head spa experience and I wanted to try some place new. I'm so happy I did! I was asked to undress from the top up due to the upper massage. I had removed all my earrings prior though couldn't remove my necklace as it is a perm necklace. Courtney was able to work around it and still deliver a great head/shoulder/face massage. If you have any sensitives to perfumed products, do let her know. I don't so I really enjoyed the scented products she used. After the massage, she worked on my hair, doing a double shampoo and conditioner routine. During each part, she would massage my head and handle my hair and scalp with gentle care. Again, heavily scented products, though I did not mind. However, I did notice a tingly/cool sensation during the conditioner part so I just endured until it was washed off. It got a bit cold toward the end for me so I kinda wish there was another blanket to use. Oh, the bed had a vibrating massage thing. It was alright. It would also be nice if it was heated kuz who doesn't want that? After everything was done, I was escorted out for blow drying. Definitely not a blow out (not that I expected it) but it still left my hair feeling nice. I know I have a lot of hair so she wasn't able to fully dry it all, but I didn't mind. Party of 4 came in with reservations after driving an hour, none of us received the waterfall that is shown In The pics. We were really hoping for an experience for $128 plus tip. Our services fell short, but the staff was very nice. When I asked the front desk about the waterfall and showed a picture I was told only some rooms have those, we were in 3 different rooms and none of us got the service! Super cute spa room and amazing service. I got couples serenity experience with my friend. You would get body massage, sauna, and scalp treatment. The scalp treatment also included shoulder and neck focused massage on top of the scalp massage. I was already feeling sooo good after the body massage and additional massage during the scalp treatment was even more amazing. I had Courtney. The pressure she used was so spot on. I came here for a head spa with Courtney and it was amazing! They show you on camera your scalp before and after so you can see the build up as well as the focus areas. On top of deep hair cleaning she also gives you massages throughout the whole treatment. At the end of the day she'll put even more good stuff in your hair and blow dry it before you leave. I paid 150 (50 when you book the appointment, 100 when you get there) plus tip (27$) it was about an hour maybe an hour 15 long. I will be back! read more

On an internet booking, it was all booked up. One day on July 2024 on Tuesday it was I think . I called to go check the place before buying for a friend's Birthday gift card. I left message and didn't get back. So 2-3h after I went ahead to check the place, it was closed with big sign of OPEN. And below that was opening days as only open 4 days out of 7. So no wonder it looked all booked up. I drove good 20min from Sunnyvale . IF THEWEB SITE INDICATED closing 3days a week, and opening days , this didn't happen. I left message saying improper business handling , misleading customers/consumers. She said as far as booking site she has no control over. But when she close shop end of the day, at least she can cover with simple cardboard to cover OPENsign. And web site needs to indicate opening days. Seems most all Thursday was open and she offered Thursday for booking but my friend is not available all Thursday. It looks on booking site the business is popular but NOT.at-all. Big bright OPEN sign when closed. The business owner doesn't call back . I texted and day after it was she responded. Pretty bad experience. I purchased gift card from Jen Head Spa. They have plenty employees to book for. Place is looking more spacious and bright,clean. At least so much more professional I can trust the business. Jtje designer head spa owner might have skill set but not thoughtful at all for the customers/consumer. Not delivering honesty. Didn't have to go all the way of driving waste all am hours. Never expected this place was CLOSED ON Sunday Monday and Tuesday !! Never nowhere on a web indicated. So not trust worthy.
