I've been to this head spa five times so far, and I've enjoyed almost every technician's work--especially Ella, Hannah, and Rosa. They all do an excellent job. Rosa's massage was outstanding, and she was very thorough with the scalp cleaning. The facial using organic products felt amazing and was absolutely worth it. I visited the store yesterday around 6:00 PM and had the Deep Scalp Therapy treatment. I gave it 2 stars because, even with the discount, I don't feel the experience was worth the price. The hair washing part was okay. It was a little painful when the therapist was scratching my scalp (with nails) at first, but after I mentioned it, she adjusted her technique and it was fine afterward. (I also learnt that the scalp should be treated with fingertips not nails.) But yeah they used nails. I did feel a little refreshed, but not nearly as much as I expected. My expectations may have been too high because of all the positive reviews. The massage, however, was very disappointing. It wasn't relaxing at all--in fact, it was quite painful. I assumed the therapist knew what she was doing, so I didn't say anything during the session. I specifically went there to relieve tension, but unfortunately, it had the opposite effect. One other issue was that my hair wasn't completely dried before I left, which was disappointing. Overall, the experience didn't meet my expectations, and I don't feel it justified the cost. read more

Appreciate for social media because I don't think I would have known about this little gem had it not been for Instagram, as the business is tucked away. When you walk in, they immediately make you feel welcomed. I believe there are about 7/8 service rooms. The entrance, bathroom, and rooms are clean. My service was the Jen Signature which is a 90 minute service that includes: scalp analysis, upper body massage, scalp care (scalp mask, deep cleansing shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, head massage) acupressure facial therapy with a mini facial, neck massage, hair dry while feet soak in hot water bath. I love treating myself to a head spa so I decided to try this place. Inside looked very basic. Nothing special with the setup. They checked my scalp for the analysis then brought me to the room for the actual head spa. The service itself was uncomfortable. I signed up for a head spa but she ended up washing my whole face and it honestly felt like drowning at one point. I didn't expect that at all and it made the experience more stressful than relaxing. I came today for the first time to experience the famous head spa. It was my birthday last week and my son gifted me the massage as my birthday present. I have been experiencing some scalp itching, so the timing was perfect. Yumi was my tech and she was absolutely amazing! She was very patient and kept asking me if I was ok. My daughter gifted me a long treatment day with Jolie and it did not disappoint! Never had Head spa treatment and this was my first visit. Jolie always checked in asked me if I was comfortable. In addition I had a facial and hot stone back massage. Her pressure with the massage was strong yet gentle. She focused on lots of pressure points and was considerate of my tickle spots - At one point I dosed off LOL. There is complementary tea and water. The place is clean and the ambiance is nice. The only thing I was weirded out about was my face down in a sink- and it wasn't too bad - just a little musty. That can't be helped Though because after my massage was my scalp wash - OMG - the best! She was washing not just my hair rinsing off my face neck and shoulders- laying down. jen head spa gives u a deep look at your scalp before and after the treatment, and my hair is visibly softer and shinier. it really gives me the look of nourished hair. more importantly, the massage and service is pleasant. rosa was accommodating! she made sure the water was the right temperature for me, and it was easy to talk to her. i got the signature, which included a back, shoulder, and scalp massage along with a hair treatment and facial! i'd recommend wearing comfortable bottoms, as they don't give you a set to wear. the blanket is a little thin, so i did get cold. i feel like a rolled out piece of dough in the best way. i feel knot-free. i highly recommend rosa for any massage. read more

I went in with my mom for her birthday earlier today. My mom got a full body message and I got the deep head spa package. The ladies that helped us with the services were very welcoming, we were brought into a private room which I enjoyed! During my service, the lady who helped me gave me a really nice neck and shoulder massage and the head scratching felt soooooo good. The services here are amazing and the prices are extremely reasonable. I have already been to this location twice and they are always kind enough to give me and my guests a joint room. My first visit I believe I did the head spa + facial package and it was such a great experience. I honestly almost fell asleep during it as it was so relaxing and left feeling absolutely refreshed and clean. I also brought my mom here recently for a spa day and decided to get an acne facial this time. The professional doing my facial was amazing and I love how she explained everything she was doing to my skin, even showing me the extractions, and gave me advice for how to treat my acne at home. This is my first time with a head spa and I was so excited to go. After the experience, I left feeling just a little satisfied and wishing there was more... I went with my cousin and her hubby. The receptionist checked our scalp in the lobby. I was walked to my room, got changed with their half body robe. Caliea, started with a head massage, then set me up for scalp steam after putting some cream on my scalp, she massaged my arms while waiting for the steam to finish. My head received a few more minutes of scratching and massage. The service also included shoulder massage. Caliea's hand pressure was good. My overall experience was good, but I felt like it is not worth $124. Edited to add this: I finished first and waited in the lobby. When my cousin and hubby got out... I said "it's good I already paid" (of course she'll pay me back). So we walked out the door. The receptionist ran after her and was asking if she left a tip. Our parking was in front of the office so it was not like the recpetionist was yelling, she also asked kindly. But I mean, is that our culture now? We actually run after a tip. Please dont bash me lol... I did tip my technician. I understand the importance of tipping and appreciating ones hardwork. My cousin and hubby has been to a few headspa in the past and this one is not to their liking after the service. The hubby felt like he was drowning and my cousin felt it was not as satisfying as she expected. I hope we can go back to the time when you tip because you are happy, or even when you just feel obliged but not to the point where an employee is running after you after you left the building. My cousin did come back and tipped. Also for the store manager, maybe a training so everybody is at the same standard, and no one feels like they are drowning through the process. We all did the Jen signature which includes a foot soak, an upper body massage, scalp care/hair mask, and facial for the first 80 minutes and then a basic blow-dry for the last 10 minutes. I think this experience was really unique in that it included multiple spa services in one! When we discussed our experiences afterwards, it seemed like the level of English proficiency, pressure of the massage, or even some of the techniques used throughout the entire experience really depended on the spa attendant you have. The service I cared most about was the headspa and I was extremely satisfied with my scalp results after (SO CLEAN), but I would pass on the massage and facial if I ever came back! The pressure was pretty light, but it was honestly uncomfortable to have hot stones rolled down my spine. We highly recommend her. Cons: This place is listed as a medical spa. Even if this were not a medical spa, they are setting their own rates, they are not exploited in any way. So when the receptionist swiped my card and turned the machine towards me with a $50 tip at the top, I was completely turned off. So I wanted to treat myself to a nice hair treatment but I experienced too many little issues. The customer service when I walked in was not good, phone rang during my massage, the whole service was very loud (and I know it can be when it involves washing hair and things) but my technician left the room multiple times, opened and closed drawers and cabinets loudly, it just wasn't relaxing. The hair mask, shampoo, face masks are all cooling which felt weird with the hot water and warm eye mask. Just very overstimulating in general. Lastly when drying my hair she kept the hair dryer on some spots of my head for too long to the point where it hurt me and burned. I flinched and had to move my head several times. Not worth the $185 at all. I've had better experiences during a hair cut/wash. read more

It starts off with a scan of your scalp and they tell you in what condition your scalp is in. Then you're walked into a private room where you change into a robe.
