It was my first head spa experience and I had such a great time! // Royal head spa 90 min I found Aroma Spa initially on Groupon and was booked with Yen, who I highly recommend. Her techniques were so gentle yet thorough and relaxing. The Royal head spa is the most comprehensive head spa service. It includes everything within the Signature but also has gua sha facial sculpting and a traditional Vietnamese herbal head wash. The service comes with a basic facial and hand massage. I was very surprised by how relaxing everything felt! After the blow dry, my hair felt so silky and soft. Yen also offered me a cup of hot tea while I did the detox foot soak too. Overall a fantastic experience! I plan to come back as a repeat customer as much as I can. I'm so glad I found Aroma Spa as a wellness service. Highly recommend Yen! This was my first time at Aroma Spa, located in Vietnam Town. Prior to coming in, I made an appointment to make sure they were able to take me in. Very quick and they also have text message reminders. I scheduled a 75 minute signature head spa and the individual on the phone said it would be with Yen (which I believe is the owner). When I first came in she greeted me warmly and started off with a scalp analysis to see how my scalp was. From there we got started, they provide a top to wear to make sure your clothes don't get wet but also so they can massage your arms and shoulders. The visit came with a massage (face, hand, arms, shoulders, scalp), facial, hair wash and foot soak. Throughout the appointment, Yen would check in with me to make sure everything was good such as the water temperature not being too hot or too cold. Having been to other head spa's before, this was by far my favorite head spa I have been to and will for sure be back. read more

The lady who took care of me had an amazing personality, very kind and professional. The products they use smell great and are very relaxing. At the end, they offered me a delicious hot tea, which was a nice touch. They also styled my hair, which I wasn't expecting and really liked. My first time here experience with Yen Huynh today, I chose 60 mins essential head spa $125 with discount 20% off promotion. I feel like she spended more time for me than 60 mins which is so nice, she cared & asked how strong would you like of hair massage and scrubbing. Finally my head dead skin is scrubbed off, i love how it clean and feel so relaxed. Also facial is clean with washing, massage and face mask. She warmed up my stomach and feet with hot stone, also massage shoulder, neck & back after you done as well. I really recommend this place and definitely will come back again. read more

I found Aroma Spa through Groupon, and what a wonderful discovery! I booked the 90-minute treatment and it was absolutely amazing. I've been to a head spa before with my daughter-in-law, and I have to say this experience was far better--I definitely need to bring her here next time and my husband :) The spa is spotlessly clean, and I felt completely relaxed from start to finish. The staff were professional and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Tip: They honor the Groupon price if you pay directly to them--just take a screenshot. I want to give this place 5 stars because my girlfriend had a great massage with Yen, but my experience unfortunately wasn't the same, so I can only give it about a 2/5. The head massage portion was honestly pretty underwhelming. I was expecting something closer to the relaxing shampoo/head massage you get during a haircut, but it mostly felt like my scalp was being scratched/raked for 60 minutes? The facial and arm/chest massage were fine, but the main head portion just didn't live up to expectations. The lady I had seemed frustrated from the start. When we arrived (on time), she mentioned they were running behind and seemed annoyed, which I tried to be understanding about. Unfortunately, the energy carried through the session and she didn't check in during the massage to see if the pressure or technique was okay. In contrast, Yen was checking in with my girlfriend throughout her massage, which she really appreciated. I think the experience probably depends a lot on who you get so if you book here, you might want to specifically ask for Yen. read more

I was so stressed and burnout at work, so I called in last min. The person helping me was so gentle and sweet, she checked in with me how are things and with care. The place is so clean and well decorated. I got the 90min special, which included a massage for the face, hand, arms, back, and scalp. The scalp and hair massage was so great then I got my hair washed with a face mask and hair blow dried. My hair was so smooth and my face was glowing after. I found out about this place from my nail tech. She said they had a Groupon deal so I took advantage of the 90 min package. And it was definitely worth the money. The location is easy to find via Apple Maps GPS. Just keep in mind if you go on a weekend give yourself some time to find parking as the plaza tends to get very busy. The spa was super clean and cute. I couldn't get the nail of the girl who assisted me, but even with being a few mins late, she checked me in and got started. I was relaxed the whole time and enjoyed all of the service. I also was checked on multiple times to ensure I was comfortable and the water was not too hot. 90 mins flew by way too fast. At the end she blow dried my hair roughly about 80% through. Which I didn't mind my hair wasn't completely dry or that my hair wasn't styled. Keep in mind I have a large amount of thick hair. I recommend aroma spa as they are such sweet workers and take pride in their work to provide you the best service. read more

I came here with my husband after finding it on Yelp and I'm so happy we did! It was the perfect place to relax and decompress after a stressful week. We did the 75-minute experience and had Talia and Yen. Both did incredible jobs. They regularly checked in on us to make sure we felt good, the water was a good temperature, and to make sure we were enjoying our experience. Yen was super friendly and accommodating, I was greeted with tea upon arrival and booked the 75 min signature spa- did a quick scalp analysis and recommended I added the detox (extra +$20) which I didn't mind at all. The experience itself was relaxing pressure was good. Getting your head massaged/hair washed is so relaxing and they used a variety of tools to do so. Vinh was amazinggg and helped me through the whole process. Some highlights: I was surprised you don't need to prep with a tube top or easy to remove straps. They supply you with a dress to wear so they can access your arms and shoulders for a massage. With the VIP package, you get your hair washed, a facial, a massage, and a blow dry. For HALF the price of what other head spas are charging, you get SO MUCH!! I recommend you run over before the prices go up! Vinh and the rest of the employees are top tier with their skills and service! The massage was equivalent to expensive deep tissue massages. He even popped a huge pimple for me during my facial! If you think your skin and hair are important, and if you think your time and money are important, I don't recommend this place. I went there this week to get a service for my face and hair. 1. They gave me an off shoulder gown to change without informing the place to change. There was no changing room. 2. It was open space, and there were three beds with divided see-through fabric. They let me lay down right next to half-naked man. I said I felt uncomfortable to lay down right next to the man. They let me lay down next next bed. And the fabric was even fully covered and I could see the man customer. I was surprised that their lack of care for customer privacy. 3. The lady who started my face/hair while she was working on my hair, she just left for picking up the phone, and the other lady took over. They asked me to switch the bed again to right next to the man customer cause something broken. 4. The staff don't know how to massage and face and wash hair. I don't feel either their skill or passion. I also felt unhappy that she kept rubbing my face downward and pulled down, 5. I guess they are using very cheap product for the hair. I don't know even if they applied a conditioner. My hair was worse than ever. 6. I was absolutely unhappy with their job. Also the the lady who just did little ticked my hair, she did not know how to operate a card machine, and she called someone and made me wait. Their advertisement price was just cash price, and if you want to pay a credit card, you need to pay extra dollars. People go to the massage shop to release stress. But I felt I added stress. Have been here several times and each time has been a very tranquil experience. Each time I had the shampoo with scalp massage and facial which lasted about 45 minutes. I don't know exactly what they call it but there is a menu on the wall. I might try a foot massage at some point. The place has a massive chandelier hanging in the center of the ceiling and comfortable couches when I have had to wait. It offers me a chance to relax which is much needed in my life. read more
