I've been going here for a few years now and I honestly always end up coming back because the quality is just so good. I've tried so many other lash places before, but this is one of the only places where my lashes actually retain really well and don't fall out super fast. One of my favorite things is that the products they use never burn or irritate my eyes, which used to happen to me a lot at other places. I'm honestly so sad because the reviews really hyped this place up, and I was excited for my appointment. Unfortunately, the set looked different from what I asked for, and most of the lashes were glued so close to my lash line that it's uncomfortable when I blink. Also, it was concerning the lack of hand hygiene and the strong smell of cigarettes on her hands throughout the appointment. Felt unsanitary especially since she was touching my eyes and face with her fingertips. The biggest concern was when my bottom lashes got stuck to my top lashes. To fix it, scissors were brought extremely close to my eye and used to cut my bottom lashes while my eyes were closed. I wasn't warned at all, which honestly scared me lol. My eyes were extremely irritated afterward. I understand mistakes happen, but I'm just disappointed in my experience. It feels like I wasted $150 :( read more

You can't beat the price and I love that it's the same layout as a nail salon. There's no pressure to hold conversations like there is with a one-on-one layout. I was hesitant at first because my sister has powder brows and I wanted something more natural like nano/microblading. She told me that Nina is a perfectionist who could do it all. After looking through inspo photos and Nina's IG, I decided to give it a shot, and WOW, I'm so glad I did! My sister said Nina would look at me like a painting, making sure every detail lined up perfectly. She wasn't kidding. Throughout the whole process, Nina would stop, study my brows with full concentration, and make tiny adjustments like an artist refining her masterpiece. You can tell she genuinely wants you to love your brows as much as she loves creating them. Also, I was 20 minutes late to my first appointment because of nightmare traffic driving down from Richmond. Nina was still so kind and patient, and she took her time to make sure everything was perfect. Six weeks later, I came back for the touch-up, she deepened the color a little, and it was perfect. My second appointment was in late June and I still love them 4+ months later. Nina mentioned that the lasting ability of the brows will vary depending on skin type (I have an oily T-zone), but whenever mine fade, I will 100% be returning to Nina. I've been thinking of having microblading or nano strokes on my eyebrows for a while, but always chickened out. Finally, I decided to go for it in January and went to see Nina. She did such a fantastic job! We had a chat about what I was looking for and I showed her some pictures of examples I liked and disliked. She took her time measuring my brows and sketching in the best shape for my brows. It turns out my brow bones aren't symmetrical, so she modified the shape of one brow to make them look more symmetrical. After that, Nina got to work with the nano strokes pen. My eyes were burning mid way through my appointment from the glue in my eye. At the end of my appointment after the fan when I was asked to get up my eye was still glued shut! My eyes burned all night and I woke up with a swollen eye. I've had my lashes done for years here and this is the WORST experience! Never had I had my eye swollen from an eye last appointment. When I went to check out, the woman at the front lacked basic customer service skills, which made the experience even more disappointing. I later returned to get the lashes removed, expecting it to be as smooth as my first time, but it was just as uncomfortable. The person doing the removal kept burning my eyes (again, they were closed), and it got so painful that I had to ask him to stop so I could wash my eyes off in the bathroom myself. I booked a lash lift with Ann and it was horrible. First off, Ann was very standoffish and unwelcoming when I came for my appointment. She told me to go into the bathroom and wash my own lashes before she started which was very strange since I've always had lash artists wash my lashes for me before services. The room she led me into after was very dirty and the dead silence of the salon was uncomfortable to say the least. She definitely was rushing for some reason because the lash lift took about 30 minutes MAX and left my lashes on one eye more lifted than the other and the corners looked untouched. She did not even go over aftercare procedures and I had to ask her myself just for her to give unhelpful advice and then rush out of the room. Never coming back. read more
