I absolutely recommend Lashed Studio Academy to anyone from newbie to experts! Long over due review on my part . Sorry about that ! - Aubrey Aubrey Is the owner of LashedStudio &Academy. They've recently re did their website and it's an easy read and simple booking process. This studio is super cute and welcoming it's a pleasant painted hue of pink located right off Meridian Avenue here in San Jose,Ca 95125. (Adjacent to a Taco place at the corner . ) Pro Tip: slow down while pulling into the drive way it's easy to miss if going fast ! I've had the privilege to be able to work with Diane whom has since relocated to Texas but does sometimes work in town . Not sure on her availability at the moment.. but she did pair me with Cindy ! Cindy is awesome everyone here is very talented and super easy going . The services I've received : I've gotten Full sets on eyelash extensions, Brow Lamination and Keratin Lash lift Combo appointments ( it's more affordable this way). If I can find pics I'll be sure to attach . Currently pausing my services for an upcoming trip but I will definitely be back ! read more

This is my first experience getting lash extensions and I'm SO glad I came to Lashed Studio! Aubrey was super thorough to ask about my allergies and preferences in styles to consider in my treatment. I told her I trusted her recommendation and WOW did the lashes come out so nice and felt super natural on my eyes. I was worried if I'd feel the extensions since it was my first application but I didn't feel anything! :) Aubrey worked her magic !The office was super clean and tidy, and the whole team was so chill and friendly. 10/10 service and can't wait to come back soon for a refill! read more

I've been to Lash Studio and Academy multiple times, and every visit has been a wonderful experience! This review is for brows - For many years I was getting my non-existent Brows micro bladed by another artist/place. For some reason every few months my brows would turn pink then orange. I think it was just how my skin was. From my past reviews you know I've had my lashes done by Aubrey from Lashed for YEARS! When she started to doing brows she's always talked to me about color correcting my brows. I finally took the leap last month & I couldn't be happier. Just know she won't correct anyone's brows. You have to be the right candidate & also have real expectations. I knew she wouldn't be able to make my brows "perfect" but it would be better than what I had. I'm happy I took the risk & Aubrey saved my brows. I can't thank her enough. read more

I come from San Francisco to see Abby and it's 1000% worth it. If you are looking for someone who is educated, ambitious, neat, clean, detail oriented, and genuinely kind Abby is your person! I've worked at salons before and got lashes done from colleagues. I've got lashes done elsewhere in the Bay, but no one has taken the time and care needed for relaxing appointments like Abby does. Usually my eyes sting and are super red after doing lash extensions - with Abby my eyes never feel irritated after! Her station is always clean and organized, the music is always a vibe, and I appreciate that she always takes the time to reeducate me on how to properly care for my lashes. I didn't start doing volume lashes until I met Abby and I've loved them ever since! Abby does volume lashes in a way that's natural, but still pops beautifully and fits your eye shape! read more

It was my first time here and the studio is adorable! I found Ken through instagram and he was having a deal to do ombré powder on virgin brows. I have been thinking about getting my brows done for years and finally decided to take the leap! I'm so happy that I found this place. Ken was great and super informative. My biggest concern was that it would hurt haha. But I felt super relaxed and didn't feel a thing. I will definitely come back for the other services they provide. I'm super happy with my results and can't wait to go back for my touch up. read more

Lashed Studio & Academy is the best! Love, love, love my ombre powder brows! Before Aubrey begins work on your brows, she studies your face with an artist's eye. She notes eye shape, the planes of your face, hair color, eye color, etc. She then takes a brow pencil and creates the shape and color she believes would suit you best. Only after you're satisfied with the mock-up does she begin the actual process of creating your new brows. The end result is beautiful brows that make your eyes pop, once again. Aubrey also does consistently gorgeous, long-lasting, lash work. I highly recommend Lashed Studio & Academy. read more

2/16/2024 Lashed is still the best lash place Ive ever been to. Ive been getting lash extensions since 2015ish and I haven't gone anywhere else since I found Lashed (except during the pandemic when I was desperate).i see Aubrey now that Anne is gone. Lashed is still in the top 3 best businesses i've EVER dealt with. Due to my terrible work schedule, I almost only seek services from businesses who offer online scheduling. Lashed doesn't do online scheduling, however you can communicate via text which is awesome. I never worry if they're going to text me back because they always do. I can't see myself without lashes and I know my natural lashes will always be healthy here. I'll keep coming to Lashed as long as I can afford it. read more

I can't tell you enough how happy I am with how my lashes turned out. Diana took the time and care to give me everything I ever wanted, and it was worth every penny. Before getting started she asked me what look I wanted to achieve, showed me photos of different sets, assessed my eye shape and showed me different lash lengths and curl patterns that would work for me. For over an hour, she worked patiently on my lashes and was so gentle that I fell asleep and didn't feel a thing the whole time. I woke up to a beautiful set that was everything I wanted and more. You get what you pay for, and Diana's work is absolutely worth it. Before coming to Diana, my lashes looked rough after working with another studio that would place me with a different technician every time I went in for a fill, I ended up with a mismatched set of different lash lengths that didn't look good at all. I'm so glad I found Lashed and Diana. Looking forward to many more lash naps in the future! read more

This review is long overdue, as I've been getting my lashes done by Aubrey since I moved out here from the East Coast in 2017. Aubrey nails it every time. She's meticulous. I have incredibly high standards and initially struggled to find a new Lash Studio, experiencing subpar service, poor application, cheap quality extensions, etc., but that all changed when I stumbled upon Lashed. The extensions are quality and the service is great. It's clear Aubrey makes sure her high standards are followed by all the Lashed artists, as I've had lash refills by other artists at Lashed in a pinch and they've been wonderful as well. In fact, I'm constantly getting compliments on my extensions and people are shocked when I tell them they're extensions because of how natural yet gorgeous they look. 10/10 recommend. All the girls at Lashed are so sweet and amazing!! This studio is probably the most professional lash business that I've ever been to. I've been to quite a few prior to coming here and since I've found Lashed, I've never been more pleased with my lashes. The ladies go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and informed of how everything works. They send emails/texts on appointment dates, confirmation, and info on all their latest products or news! Aubrey does my lashes and she is so easy to talk to and get along with. I don't think she takes anymore new clients so I got lucky, however all the other girls there have trained under her and do quality work. My lashes have gotten healthier since I've come here as the previous lash girl I went to stuck way too many lashes and glue on my natural lashes so it was causing my hairs to fall out. My lashes don't feel as heavy anymore but still look nice and voluminous/full. The important thing is, my extensions rarely fall out because of how well Aubrey attaches them to my real lashes. I could literally wait to refill over a month since they retain so well. If you're looking around for a lash studio, look no more as this studio is the place to go!! read more

Disclaimer: I did not get my lashes done. As a gift, I purchased a gift card for a friend to get her lashes done here. Maybe the worst thing I could've done? She couldn't stop talking about the service she received and how now she's a regular with Aubrey. From what I hear, Aubrey is very talented and does an amazing job of lashing but also really easy to talk to about everything and anything. Therapeutic/Lash session? Front desk will always welcome you and offer a beverage and there's a private parking lot in back. Man, I seem to know so much about this place. Maybe I should consider getting my lashes done? That'll be another post if I do. read more

So happy with my lash lift experience! Loved the atmosphere and set up with the studio. Professional staff and excellent customer service. Competitive pricing. I got my lash lift done by Tera... she was super friendly, down to earth, and easy to talk to. She walked me though the whole process and educated me on how to take care of my lashes afterwards. The final results were beautiful. They were lifted even and really made my eyes pop. I've already received compliments from people! Can't wait to come back for a retouch! read more

Found my number one trusted lash artist!! Jordan!! Myself and my close friend Alyssa have been with her for a little over a year and this review has been long over due. For many years I wanted to get my lashes done however was always so skeptical and never got them done until I came upon lashed eyelash studios Instagram. I followed Abby to this studio when she made the move from SF to SJ - that tells you a lot because 1) I still live in SF and 2) I'm willing to make that pretty long commute because Abby is THE ABSOLUTE BEST! I've been to so many subpar lash artists, so I was incredibly grateful and happy to find Abby. Her precision, attention to detail, singular craftsmanship, and sheer ability to magically transform my lackluster looking eyelids/eyelashes (I'm Asian-American and have pretty sparse natural lashes) to a work of art is nothing short of amazing. While I do wish she was closer, she is by far the most skilled lash artist I've ever been to (I've been wearing extensions for 8+ years now)..not to mention a super down-to-earth, easy to talk to, quick communicator, best music playlist curator person - you'll be in an expert's hands. Got my lash lift done here with Diana. I had previously gotten a lash lift from another artist but I was left disappointed in how they turned out. But Diana did such an amazing job, it turned out exactly how I wanted it to be, natural but with drama. And I keep staring at my lashes all the time cause they are so good! Lashed Studio is such a great place and they maintain the place so well! I used to spend a good 30 minutes on filling in my brows and sometimes still wouldn't be satisfied. Ever since I got ombré brows done with Aubrey 2 years ago, life has literally been so much easier. Her introductory rate and also her skills at lash extensions prompted me to jump on ombré brows when she first started out, but you couldn't even tell she was new at it. I got compliments all the time. I recently just came in for my touch-up and they're even better this time around. I will not trust anyone else with my brows, and I can't wait until they're fully healed. Aubrey is sweet and very knowledgeable. She made me feel very comfortable and confident in her work while making sure to ask for my approval every step of the way. The whole staff at Lashed is amazing. They're all very sweet and easy to work with. They will promptly answer any questions you have and provide you with all the aftercare information you need to prolong your brows or extensions. Okay, so I had not even heard of a lash lift until just a few weeks ago and booked an appointment with Lashed soon after. I have longgg lashes that just fall flat, yep even after curling them. So, I thought a lash lift is what I've been missing my whole life! My first appointment went well, but upon taking off the solution, the artist, Dawn, did note that my lashes were resistant & didn't curl as much as they should have. To me, they looked way better than before, so I was happy. A couple days later I noticed one side was more curled than the other. They texted asking how my lashes were doing & I let them know one side was less curly & they offered me a complementary fix session! My second appointment was with Aubrey, and she did amazinggg! My lashes look soooo good. I'm mad I hadn't discovered this sooner. Aubrey confirmed that my lashes are super resistant, and she wants me to come Im again next week to do one more touch up for optimal curl. Lol I know that was long, but all that to say is that the product Is amazing, but their customer service is above and beyond. A couple months ago I decided to focus on getting my skin in order. In my high-stress job, I've noticed my anxiety has become more and more apparent. To ease my anxiety, I used to pick at my face and bite my nails. I started getting facials and chemical peels to help diminish acne scarring and to address my hyper-pigmentation. As I've begun to age into my early 30's I started to notice my eyebrows were unnoticeable in photos and that's when I started to search for a brow specialist. I reached out to about 5 different places and Ken at Lashed got back to me when no others would. We communicated through text, typical millennial+ fashion, and I was able to book an appointment just 2-weeks out. Ken made it easy to understand the process and I got a pretty huge first-timer discount so I was very pleased. During the appointment which took 3+ hours, Ken was very communicative and checked in with me constantly to make sure I was comfortable and that I liked my new brows. What I really loved was that he had another person come in a few times to double check his work -- for some, this might make them feel weird but for me it was Ken doing his due diligence. 10/10 would recommend this very friendly and on their sh*t staff! I will say, I didn't expect the process to be as exhausting as it was. I have bodily tattoos and this did not hurt as much as a typical tattoo but when I got home I had to take a nap to recoup my energy. Also, eat a big meal before you go because you'll be in a chair for 3 hours or more. read more

Eyelash extension Newbie right here! I did research for months and finally took the leap. I found this place through a beautifully lashed chick at the reception desk when I took my pup in for a check up at the doc. She recommended this spot. I chose to go with Anne. She's amazing! Always on time. I can't feel anything when she does my lashes. She answered all my questions with patience and kindness. Super comfy bed thingies that you lay on, brand new spot with a super cute aesthetic, and oustanding staff. They're so cool and fun! Love coming here. I love the option to text for any questions that I may have or for scheduling appts. If you're thinking about getting it done. Do it!! It's life changing. I have azn eyes with like, short lashes. I can't live without them now. I got married with these lashes and had super heavy make up, I went on my honeymoon to Hawaii with the ocean and super humid hot days... I was recommended to Lashed Studio by my brow girl, shoutout to B2 Brows by Erika Sonn. The driveway is small, and can be easily missed if you are new to the studio so drive slower when you're getting close.The inside is very stylish, clean and the front desk personnel was friendly. Jasmine was my lash technician. She is super sweet and patience with me seeing that I was a little late. Jasmine was very informative and meticulous in her technique. I live my whispy lashes. I would recommend Jasmine and Lashed Studio. read more

I called Lashed in desperation to get my lash extensions taken off that were put on elsewhere. I called at 10am and they got me in at 12:30! Helen was amazing, took the time to get my over glued extensions off. She took the time to really answer questions I had. I was reacting to the glue (remember not Lashed's glue) and my eyes were irritated from environmental allergies so i wanted them off ASAP. I left leaving with my natural lashes intact and a smile on my face :) I didn't leave with out booking an appointment for a keratin lash lift in the following few days. I will update with my lash lift but I can't recommend this place enough! They also texted me the following day to make sure my lashes were doing well! Rather than addressing them, she became visibly flustered and ended our appointment early. I want to be clear: I'm considering getting a tattoo on my face. That is not a decision I'm taking lightly, and naturally I'm going to have questions. Any professional in this space should understand that this work carries real, semi permanent consequences -- a client who asks questions isn't being difficult, they're being responsible. If you're going to operate in this industry, patience and communication aren't optional. They're the job. A bad result in this line of work doesn't just fade -- it can affect someone's life permanently. I'd encourage anyone considering this shop to reflect on whether this environment is for them to get this type of work done.

I do still stand by the majority of my initial review - Nhu is very sweet and really cared about my comfort throughout the process and the salon has a great vibe, it's just disappointing that this has happened.

The second time, I had my brows done during a microblading class. The person doing them claimed to have many years of experience and a busy shop. She was also supposedly trained by a famous microblading teacher. Unfortunately, I ended up crying about my brows for years. Not only did the process hurt, but I hated how my brows looked. They were extremely thick, high, uneven, and completely overwhelming for my small face. I felt like I had two devil horns sitting on my forehead. I found this place via a co-worker's referral and I love it!…read more I have always has light brows which have gotten lighter as I age. I have seen people who got micro blading done but never wanted to try it because it is so dark for the first few months. Finally, after spending 10 minutes every day trying to fill my brows and always having them be uneven etc, I decided to check this place out. The website is very detailed, with lots of pictures and information. I still was not able to decide for myself which procedure is right for me so I called My. My does not talk on the phone:) but is a very responsive and detailed texter. I am very impressed by her texting skills. Based on a picture of my eyebrows, she recommended microshading and the reasons for it. I made my booking online and paid the $100 deposit. For my process it would be $545 total + $100 for any follow up - a bit on the expensive side but well worth it. On the day of the appointment, she puts numbing cream on the brows and lets it sit for 20 minutes. She then asks questions about what I want, the shape, size etc. I wanted dark, thick brows. She cautioned against that and advised that I start with a slightly smaller shape because she could always add on but if I hated the shape and size, she could not take it off. She spent some time drawing the shape out and made slight adjustments based on my feedback. I was extremely nervous and told her so and that made her nervous but she was a professional throughout. I was nervous about the pain but it was amazingly painless. Each appt. is for an hour and a half but my brows were not taking color and she took another 1/2 hour but I was very pleased with the result! I had defined, beautiful brows. After, My provided detailed instructions on after care and whether to come back or not. I did start losing color in the timeline she mentioned and some color came back but I went back because they were too light - My remembered everything I had initially asked for without me reminding her and made my brows darker and thicker. After the requisite 4 weeks, I did lose some color but something I can live with. This is a life changer. My did mention that as I kept coming back, my skin would get used to taking color and they would get much darker each time. My left brow is slightly lighter than the right but nothing very obvious. The second time around, my brows also itched a lot and peeled. That did not happen the first time. They are also very dry. The only thing I didn't like about the whole process is that I could not work out for 7 days after the procedure. I have worked out every day for the past 30 years and it was tough but well worth it!! The office is easy to find, parking on the street and inside, My has soda, water and snacks and both times that I was there, I was the only customer - she can only focus on one at a time so that makes sense. Very professional looking equipment and clean. While filling out the paperwork, I indicated that I didn't want her to use my pictures on social media and she was happy to accommodate. Woman owned, minority owned - 5 starts all around!!

I just knew I wanted the tail end of my brows to be filled to naturally blended in with the rest of my brows, PLUS, I didn't want to look mean. After MP numbed me, I felt nothing! Literally, no pain with lots of gain. Micro & nano blading service came out quite nice! Additionally, I had lash liner done as well... again zero pain after numbing cream. It popped when I first saw them! When I came back for my touch up, I felt that in my photos, the tail end of my brows were showing up as too light which .ade my brow look uneven. So, I asked for a fuller fill and sharp ends. MP filled up my brows and now I wake up with perfect brows everyday. For my lash liner, unfortunately, not a single drop of ink stayed on with the first sess. MP redid them by doubling up on the inkage and didn't chage for the retouch appointment. Happy to report that this time, they stayed on. But my eyes did come out feeling sore and dry afterwards... no worries, after a week, my eyes were normal again. NOTES: Lots of free parking. Free snacks/drinks available. Clean and relaxing environment. MP is the sweetest. Happy.

You start off by taking your shirt off afterwards and put on a robe before getting on the bed. She then starts off with a forehead, temple, neck, and shoulder massage. After that's finished, she puts on a heated eye mask and then begins all the hair things. My hair was washed with OLAPLEX shampoo about 2x, and throughout it all she is massaging my head nonstop. I love the head massage the most! There is a water ring around your head that waterfalls on vou to rinse vour hair multiple times as well. She also uses a head scratcher which gave me so many tingles! The treatment finishes off by washing your neck and shoulders. She ends it by using a DYSON SUPERSONIC HAIR DRYER to blow drying my hair. They are always very friendly and accommodating for a walk-in appointment. The salon is hygienic and clean. They also have a very nice selection of gel polish colors, especially cateye colors. I recently had an ingrown toenail (my first ever in 33 years) after my latest visit but the owner was quick to help communicate this with the nail tech doing my pedicure so it doesn't happen again. This made me feel very understood and respected as a regular customer here. The owner also tries to remember the regulars at the salon and always offer a warm welcoming, which is very nice of her. They offer a discount for cash payments, but also accept Venmo (even for tips) while credit card has a small charge. I think their prices are very reasonable and definitely cheaper than the last salon I went to before switching to Pedi Nail Lounge. There is a large shared parking lot in front so plenty of parking nearby.
