I would not recommend going to Sayoki Studio for microblading. After only a few months, my microblading faded almost completely and the tattoo practically disappeared. I ended up feeling like I wasted my money and now have to get the work redone elsewhere. On top of that, communication with Sammy was frustrating from the beginning. Scheduling appointments and getting responses to texts or emails was extremely difficult. After multiple calls, texts, and emails, I would sometimes wait weeks for a reply, usually being told there were "technical difficulties." The overall experience felt very unprofessional, especially after already paying a deposit. If you are investing in cosmetic tattoo work, you want someone reliable, responsive, and consistent. OMG Becky, look at her brows! I've been considering microblading for a few years but have always been hesitant on taking the plunge. I was overwhelmed by the options....microblading, powder brows, combo, ombré...what did I want? I DIDN'T KNOW! But after scrolling Sammy's instagram and reading the reviews I decided it was time. As part of your intake, Sammy asks you to send in photos that inspire you and things you'd like to avoid. She spends a good amount of time at the beginning of the appointment talking through the options and setting expectations. She talks you through the process of getting microblading and how to properly care for your brows during the healing process. At the end of the appointment you'll get a cute aftercare kit with everything you need including printed instructions. I LOVE how my brows came out! I wanted to even out the shape and fill in a few patchy areas. My brows look so natural and I can confidently leave the house without any makeup on my brows. I am SO happy I went with Sammy to do my nanobrows!! I had been considering getting my brows done for a while after seeing friends have great experiences elsewhere, but I'd been following Sammy for a long time and just love all the photos of her work and her aesthetic! Her studio was easy to get to, super clean, and had really cool vibes. We did a consult at the beginning to figure out what we should do for my brows and I'm not the best at explaining things, but Sammy totally understood the assignment and drew up some bomb brows for me! The procedure was totally painless with the numbing ointment she applied throughout, and time just flew by while she was working. Once it was all done, I got a little aftercare package with stickers, moisturizing ointment, and a face shield to protect the healing brows during showers. Why did I choose Sammy? Before I let anyone touch my eyebrows, I made sure I did my research through instagram, yelp, google reviews, any platform to make sure I get the result that I want. I'm not going to say I'm an easy customer as well, I'd like to put myself that with the money I spent, I have to be sure it's worth it. I mean don't you all feel the same way? First when I went to my appointment day, I totally forgot NOT to drink any caffeinated drinks like coffee/tea, and I had two cups of coffee before I went there. However, Sammy was very flexible to reschedule my appointment within the next three days just to get the caffeine out from my system so I can have the best result without having any excessive bleeding. This is actually a plus point that I like from Sammy, she wants to have the best result for customer. Other microblading artist would not even care if customer drink coffee or any caffeinated drinks just to get the job done. I have a friend who was bleeding tremendously, (she did it with other artist, btw) and turned out the ink didn't stay on her skin, and within two months the new eyebrows were gone. With Sammy, she made sure that the customer follow the after care treatment, so the brows will be completely healed. She gave an after care box along with the instruction, shower shield, after care lotion, and brow shaver. Such a nice, cute and organized box! I am very much happy with the result. So to give the answer to my question above, Sammy is such an expert in microblading and microshading, she has all the experience in drawing amazing brows (I mean just read all the yelpers reviews), she has great personality (this is important, to have someone draw your eyebrow, you need to work with someone who is flexible, have positive attitude, basically someone that you can trust - and Sammy has all that qualities), and the most important thing is she cares about the end result, and not just getting the job done. I first got my eyebrows microbladed by Sammy in 2019. She is so talented. My touch up was scheduled for the end of March 2020 which kept getting postponed due to Shelter In Place orders.
