Update since chatting with owner: I raised my review from 1 to 3 stars for now. Owner is incredibly kind and was very sympathetic towards my unfortunate experience. She's expressed working with her worker on listening to the customers needs and has been kind enough to personally do my brows in the future. I've always been keen on second chances so I'll check this place out again one day. Review prior to speaking to owner: I specifically asked the lady not to make my eyebrows super thin and she said OK. By the time she was done they were very thin and I made a remark that it was super thin and she said yes it looks better on you which made me very upset because I specifically asked her not to do that. It's not for her to decide unless I asked her to do what she felt was best. I even had a photo to go off of and told her to just clean the single hairs. I will not be back at this spot. They charge $17 just for eyebrow threading and she was very pushy to get other work done such as hair on my face or my upper chin, etc.. read more

I've been going to Brow Threading Studio for awhile, so I'm sad that my last visit wasn't like my usual experience. The next day, I have red cuts/scabs all over my upper cheeks and under my brows where I was threaded. They were telling the girl who was about to thread me to get ready to go to lunch, so I'm not sure if she was rushing or what. Eyebrow and upper lip- horrible experience - i had explicitly said my skin is sensitive but they were extremely rough . After coming back I checked again and the eyebrows weren't even on both sides, so they didn't even do a good enough job. The upper lip had red spots too. I've tried out a few threading salons around South Bay... but I have to say this place has consistently been my favorite. It's a small shop, but it gets the job done. I've never had to make an appointment in advance, and at most I had to wait maybe 10 minutes (at least they have chairs). The lady who's taken care of me has been very quick and efficient in her work, hence the short wait times (there is usually another person onsite as well on busier days). I'm really inconsistent with threading and she is always kind to offer petroleum jelly to put on my brows and upper lip after a threading session. Price wise it's very affordable for the service - my eyebrow threading was $17 and upper lip is $7. Best part is that they take Venmo... which makes payment so much easier instead of running to an ATM or remembering to carry cash. Totally recommend if you're looking for a threading salon in the area! PS They sell some pretty cute earrings on the side. read more

1st time getting my brows threaded. I usually get it waxed but I haven't had a good experience with waxing my brows b/c it usually gets super red and sensitive. I passed by Brow Threading Studio a few times in Willow Glen and decided to stop by after work at 5ish on a Friday. I walked in and the the lady said she can take me and I just sat for a few mins and then I was in and out in maybe 10 mins! Super quick and easy! I didn't get the lady's name but she was super friendly. I told her it was my first time and she told me where to place my fingers to help her thread. I went in yesterday to get my eyebrows done and was unhappy with the result as my eyebrows were uneven and my upper lip threading was done poorly. I am not sure the name of the lady who did them. FINALLY! I found this amazing place! I do apologize I did not grab the gals name who threaded my eyebrows but OMG was she quick! At first I said what the fudge! $17 for eyebrows?! Horrible experience. Came here as I was in need and my usual place was closed. I did my lip, chin, and brows. I had to ask the woman to redo my chin and upper lip because there was still so much hair.. and got to my car to see almost all the hair that was previously on my chin, still there, and noticed that she took in the bottom of my brow too high on one end, making them uneven. I have been threading for years and just felt the thread against my skin but didn't feel hair being pulled and saw that that was exactly what had happened when I got to my car and saw my face in sunlight. A slender younger, looking woman is the one who helped me, and I think that she may not have known what she was doing. my chin looks so bad.
