Located inside Elegant Hair & Nails. I've been going to Durga for eyebrow threading for many years, since she has been working at Aarna threading, and she is the best. She always takes the time to make sure my brows are perfectly shaped and even. I'm so glad she's still working nearby! read more

I followed Durga here from Aarna threading. I've been seeing her 7 years. I moved away during the pandemic and I still drive over an hour to get my brows done with her. She always checks my both brows before threading and lets me know where not to pluck for the most even eyebrows. Highly recommend! read more

Yunica is great at what she does! I found her through yelp and have been seeing her consistently for the past few months. I feel my whole face has changed for the better since seeing her. Crazy how much of a difference brows can make! On our first session she pointed out that my brows were pretty uneven and detailed how she would thread them to even them out. She made sure I was comfortable with that before proceeding. Now I come in and just tell her to keep doing whatever she thinks looks best. Which is a pretty big deal because I'm super picky. I trust her whole heartedly. I don't think I'll ever let anyone else touch my brows. read more

Durga has been threading my eyebrows for about 10 years now. I went to Yunica for awhile for eyebrow threading when Durga had moved out of town. They are both very skilled and careful with each client. Highly recommend! read more

Yunica is all you need for eyebrow threading. She's super detailed and highly considers your preferences. She gives great suggestions of what will be the best shape for your eyebrows based on your current eyebrow shape. I plucked my eyebrows on my own thinking I'd save money. I wrecked them, made them super uneven, and she totally fixed it. She makes sure they look good and you're satisfied before you finish the service. Also, the chair is pretty comfortable to sit in lol. Definitely recommend her. 10/10 read more

Yunica Threading and Hair - Waxing Near Me - Santa Clara, California

I've followed Yunica to her current location, when she was previously at Aarna. Besides Yunica doing a great job threading, she has great communication skills over text. Since my threading usually doesn't take too much time, I usually make same day appointments, but of course, making the appointment online or texting ensures timely service. Parking is a lot better at her new location (compared to Aarna). Also huge plus that she takes card. Thank you Yunica! See you during our regular sessions! read more

I usually get my brows done in the SF area. But being in SJ for the next few months, I was looking for a new go-to person. It's definitely scary with the thought that brows can make or break your face. But a deep dive on Yelp and everyone else's reviews brought me to Yunica! She has glowing reviews from the previous salon she worked out of & loyal customers who have followed her here. Her instagram @yunica_beauty also showcases more of her work & I appreciated how she has experience working with East Asian brows & facial features. This made me feel very comfortable going to her even as a first-time customer. I went in asking for a simple clean-up around the edges & asked her to not make it too thin, pretty much just keeping what I already had going on. She was very patient and explained to me how she wanted to make them a bit more symmetrical -- threading a bit more of my bottom right to enhance the arch & the top of my left brow to make them more even. I was a bit hesitant as I was hoping to avoid any excessive thinning, and she immediately reassured me that she would do a basic cleaning & check with me before continuing. Yunica is gentle with her work & encourages conversation during your session. Her business is much more than just "get in, get out" and I'm sure she will continue to bring in more loyal customers. I am now one of them! read more

I've been on the desperate hunt for a good eyebrow threading place in the South Bay. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded since 2015 and every time, I usually end up being disappointed. I found Yunica on Yelp and instantly followed her Instagram. Through her photos, you can see she does a good job. I set up an appointment. There's tons of parking! The moment I sat in her chair, I knew I was in good hands. She knew exactly what I needed to get my brows fixed. It wasn't painful. She took her time and was very detail oriented. She also made sure to check in and make sure I was okay with what she was doing. Her prices are also very adorable! I'm definitely coming back. I have been using Yunica's services for several years and have been consistently happy with my brows each time. Yunica clearly has a vision and skill, but I think the reason why so many are happy with Yunica's threading services is because she is so collaborative and communicative. Yunica regularly checks in with you about the shape and she progresses through your browns. Yunica has a very gentle approach and such a friendly, easy manner. I am so happy that I was able to find Yunica (on Yelp!) and will happily follow her wherever she goes. read more

My former brow lady retired and I was very nervous about finding a new brow person. Yunica works at a station inside Elegant Hair and Nails. It was easy to make an appointment via text message. She is very busy as there were multiple walk-in inquiries during my session so be sure to text her to make an appointment ahead of time. Yunica was very kind and detailed-oriented. Since it was only my third time getting my brows threaded, she frequently asked if I was comfortable and if I need a break. She also listened to exactly what I wanted for the shape of the brows and to make them still appear full. This is the best shape I have had. I will be returning and referring Yunica to friends. read more

I had my eyebrows threaded today by Yunica, and she was absolutely amazing! She was so precise and detailed she even pointed out that my eyebrows had slightly different shapes and took the time to even them out. And OMG, they came out perfect! She also explained that I should let a few hairs grow back in certain spots, so she left a couple out for now, but they still look flawless. I've been to so many eyebrow threading places from Milpitas to Mountain View, Sunnyvale, San Jose, and Santa Clara -- and I literally live down the street from this salon! I've lived here for about 7 years and never thought to come in because I assumed it was just another salon, but I'm SO glad I found it on Yelp.
