I have been looking to try the sugar waxing on my face and get a good facial for a minute. Really glad I found Alexis. I used her booking platform which was extremely easy. I had a brow wax with Victoria and am really happy with her work! She asked how I've liked my brows in the past and took the time to map out my angles to match my face structure. It's been about a week since my wax and I haven't experienced any break outs. She trimmed, waxed, and applied witch hazel to sooth my skin after. Overall, she did great with cleaning up my brows and for a very reasonable price. Kaizen's new salon is really cute and has its own parking lot. I recently went on a whim and booked with Alexis making her the 4th esthetician I've given a try for a facial and she's the only one I have plans on returning to. She made sure I was 100% comfortable and was super accommodating to any needs and adjustments I needed to ensure I would have the best first experience. This is the first time I can wholeheartedly say that I was 120% relaxed and at ease. Her booking website is super transparent and easy to navigate and book with and she's super helpful in terms of helping me if I need something that's not on the website and she's super quick. I hadn't gotten a Brazilian wax in years, and I was so nervous. I decided to try sugaring since I have sensitive skin and it is more natural. Alexis made me feel so comfortable, and although it is a painful service, she made every effort to make it as tolerable as possible. My previous nail girl quit recently and although I loved the salon I decided to give someone new a try. I'd been following @_jessnails_ on instagram for awhile and was excited to make an appointment with her. She was very responsive and accommodating and I was able to get an appointment at a time that was convenient for me. When I arrived for my appointment Jessica was already prepping the water for my pedicure so my appointment started right on time. Jessica is so friendly and nice and checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment. I showed a photo of what I was had in mind for my manicure and not only was she able to pick the perfect colors she did an absolutely amazing job on the design. I chose this salon based on my manicurist. She is 5 stars but The salon is ok. I find it unsettling to have the tv blasting every time I go in there. I think music would be more appropriate for the customers then having tv talk shows on. Not very relaxing. read more

I had been getting my hair beautified by Debbie for over 5 years now. The salon is clean and welcoming and the deco is modern which is great but what kept me coming back is the great color/cut/style service I received. I have been very happy with how Debbie tames my locks and keeps the greys from taking over. As I've gotten older, my hair has become kind of wavy and frizzy but she works her magic to put life, luster, and manageability back into it. She introduced me to highlights (which I was nervous about at first) and I love it! She's honest when I ask her about a certain cut - if she didn't think it would suit the frame of my face, she'd tell me. Prices are extremely reasonable which is icing on the cake. When I leave Kaizen with my new do, I always feel like a rock star - with beautiful hair :-). I recently moved to Southern California and am in search for a salon that provides the same type of awesome service that I'm accustomed to for a reasonable price and have yet to find one I'm happy with. This review is for Vicky the manicurist at the Kaizen Salon. My initial visit to Vicky was on a weekday after work. She was pleasant and did a good job on my fill. I wasn't happy that I told her over the phone at the time of scheduling the appointment that I had gel nails and my previous manicurist used gel powder. When I arrived, she used acrylic on my nails. I allowed her to do so, as it was too late to go elsewhere and I had to attend a wedding out of town the next day. Vicky asked a lot of personal questions and talked the whole time of the appointment. If I was vague about my personal business, she would continue to ask questions. I finally told her I didn't care to share the information and she finally stopped asking questions. I thought I would give her another chance and called her two weeks later for another fill. When she made the appointment, she said "Okay I will see you for your fill." I decided to change my mind and get a pedicure, so I called the next day. She gave me the same appointment for the pedicure. When I arrived for my pedicure, she told me to sit at her manicurist table, but I told her my appointment was for a pedicure. She immediately begin to raise her voice at me and tell me that my appointment was for a fill. I reminded her that I had called her back and changed the appointment from a fill to a pedicure. She continued to talk for an additional 10 minutes. I attempted to tell her that we should just consider this issue as a mistake and move forward. She told me to sit down in the pedicure chair. After she took all my polish off my toes, she told me she only had time for a polish change and was not going to give me a pedicure. I told her to just do the polish change and to let me pay her and leave. She applied the polish in a hurry and told me she was going to call me for a fill. As far as I'm concerned, I will never go back to Vicky. She is disrespectful and as a business owner should a treat her customers with respect. I recall she kept telling me she liked me. What Vicky likes is to talk alot. FInd someone else to do your nails. A business person should appreciate their customers, not mistreat them. read more

I have been going to Anna my whole life. She has been cutting my Mom's hair since my mom was 16 and still does till this day and she even did mine and my brother's first haircuts (I'm 23 now). I regularly go for trims and my hair always feels fresh afterwards. When I highlighted my hair for the first time she made it look so natural I thought I was born with that color.
