I gave Jinder a call to make a last minute appointment and she was super nice! She said she was in a rush and to come quickly and I offered to come later but she said she could fit me in. She finished really quick (probably because she had to head out to pick up her kids) and it looked great from initial glance. When I came home, I saw that there was a small bald spot in my eyebrow that wasn't there before. I was frantically looking for waxing places on the day I was leaving for Vegas... most places require an appt and Jinder does as well, but I called anyways and she was able to squeeze me in! She's a super sweet lady that def knows what she's doing. I asked for the underarms and honestly since I had just finished work it was not the cleanest... Jinder somehow finished BOTH pits in 5 mins! The best eyebrow threading salon in the Santa Clara/San Jose area. We have been going to Jinder for over 10 years, she's actually the first person who ever threaded my brows. Every single time she does your brows perfectly. She also offers other services, like Brazilian wax, facials, etc. She use to have a salon but now she works out of her home but still very professional. Would not recommend big groups. Jinder is professional and one of the best threading artist. She is by appointment only but she is flexible and works around my schedule. I have seen her 3 times already for full face threading and I've seen a difference in my skin in the products she recommended for my dark spots and acne. I would recommend her to anyone; waxing isn't good for your skin long term. Threading is a bit sensitive but she uses Aloe Vera and my hair on the skin is slimmer now. I've only started threading my eyebrows and lips and found this place through Groupon. I've been here twice now and have been happy with the results. I never spend more than 10-15 minutes here and they do a clean job with eyebrows and lips, such that I can go more than a month without threading. With the Groupon you get 3 threading sessions that amount to $5 each - regular price is $10 for eyebrows. I also get my upper lip threaded, which is an additional $5. Much cheaper than what you'd find in Seattle (threading goes for $20+ up north). No appointments are needed - I've usually been able to just drop in, and even if there are a few people they only take 10-15 minutes each. The salon is located on the right side of Sprouts, slightly across from the Kobe Japanese. There isn't much to the place - it's a large salon, but when I come on the weekdays it seems like there's only one person doing the threading - I think her name is Manprith? She does a good job though, but she has little communication and can be hard to understand when she wants you to hold your eyebrows, lower your head, etc. Overall, a reliable place to get your eyebrows done! Just make sure to let them know beforehand how thick you want your eyebrows, or they'll just go for it. I always ask to keep the natural shape of my eyebrow but clean up the edges. read more

Jinder is a magician! Being blessed with a lovely forest of hair on my face means I have to get them threaded on the regular so I don't look like a yeti. She is the only person who can thread me so I don't start crying like I'm cutting onions (so if you've got sensitive skin this is the place!). Her shaping skills are excellent and I always get compliments on my brows! I also get a monthly facial here. They're about 30 min long so it's easy for me to fit it into my busy schedule. I had a groupon for 3 eyebrow threading sessions for $15 which is a great deal. I have a friends wedding to go to for the weekend so I thought I'd get them done here based on the great reviews. I have thicker eyebrows that were really long so I told the threader I'd like them cleaned and trimmed up a bit with a little style. I also told her I'd like to keep my eyebrows thick. However, she threaded my eyebrows almost pencil thin. She also did it uneven saying my left brow was bald at a certain spot. So it's very noticeable one brow is thinner than the other. I'm not very happy with my eyebrows... Needless to say it was my first time not tipping someone giving me service. I'm very cautious and almost certain I don't want to go back for the second and third time.. She did a good job threading my upper lip through. However there were a few hairs around my eyebrows that weren't threaded off. I had to pluck them out with tweezers when I got home. read more
