I specified one part of my brow that I am trying to grow out, but there are lots of hairs left under both brows that make it look messy/unshaped. I had a fantastic experience at First Look Threading Salon with Ila! I got full-face threading, a facial, and body waxing, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Ila is incredibly skilled, professional, and detail-oriented--she made sure everything was done perfectly while ensuring I was comfortable throughout the process. She was also very kind and caring, always checking to make sure I was warm and comfortable. Her professionalism and punctuality stood out, making the entire experience smooth and pleasant. The facial left my skin feeling refreshed and glowing, the threading was precise and painless, and the waxing was done efficiently with great care. Ila's warm and friendly attitude made the experience even better. I highly recommend Ila and First Look Threading Salon for anyone looking for top-quality beauty services. Amazing waxing experience! We came here as a group of 3 to get face, legs and arms waxed. We had a 2:30 appointment and arrived at 3:15 due to traffic. Ila was more than happy to accommodate us and still provide all services. It is a small room (perhaps a garage) transformed into a cozy salon but the service is impeccable and Ila is great company. After my first appointment, I intentionally started booking with other estheticians at this location, and those experiences were excellent. I never had any issues with pain or my skin. This time, I didn't realize I had been assigned to Emillee again. During the waxing, I repeatedly asked her to be gentler because the pain was unbearable, but she continued anyway. The experience was extremely painful, and afterward my skin developed blisters. I've had waxing done many times before, including by other staff at this location, and I've never experienced anything like this. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly commented that I had darker skin and darker hair. Those comments made me feel very uncomfortable and singled out. I also noticed her adding something to the wax during the appointment, although I wasn't told what it was. In addition, wax was spilled on both the floor and the table, making the entire appointment feel disorganized and unprofessional. During the service, I told her how much pain I was in and warned that I would consider taking legal action if my skin was injured because I felt my concerns were being ignored. Despite that, the service continued without any noticeable adjustment. Overall, this was one of the worst waxing experiences I've ever had.
