Julie is so sweet and outgoing. She was very patience and gentle. She took her time drawing my eyebrows and consulting with me every step of the procedure. She also communicated with me throughout the process and made me felt relaxed. After the procedure, it looked great. She texted me a few days later and asked me about my eyebrows which I thought was so thoughtful and caring. When I went back for my touchup, Julie took her time again and I was even more excited for the second result. Unfortunately, I was bleeding more then the first time and I had to return to Julie for a third time. She was amazing to do my eyebrows again which turned out great. I'm happy that I don't need to ever do my eyebrows again. I appreciate how Julie is so gentle, kind and caring. I'm very satisfy with my eyebrows and I will definitely get them done again in the future. read more

X.O. Brows - Result after touchup - Permanent Makeup Near Me

Julie is super sweet and friendly. She takes her time and asks every so often of pain level. First session went well but color was lighter than I expected so Julie recommended to go darker during my second session. Unfortunately, I bled a lot during the second session, which I believe affected the outcome of the color of my brows. (Not Julie's fault. She can't control my bleeding.) One side was darker than the other and I just wasn't satisfied. Julie checked up on my brows every month and probably sensed that I was satisfied with the results so she asked me to come back in for a third session for FREE. This time I didn't bleed as much and am super happy with the results. I honestly believe Julie is passionate about what she does and wants her customers to be happy with her work. Thank you so much Julie for taking me back in. I appreciate it. You're awesome! *click on picture for healed brows* read more

I've been getting my eyebrows done by Julie and it has been nothing but amazingly perfect results. I found her page on Instagram in the beginning of year and complete fell in love with her work. Her shop is so clean and well decorated. I love the theme and the whole layout! Before getting everything ready, you will have to fill some forms. Information provided regarding your health issues so she will be aware in case of anything and other important information, such as the process of your eyebrow journey. With that being said, let's get on to the fun part! After reviewing everything, she will start on the outline of your new and improved brows! Both sides of the party will have to come to an agreement and then you'll get started on your permanent eyebrows. Be aware that the first week, your eyebrows will be dark and eventually will start peeling. DO NOT PEEL YOUR EYEBROWS, let it come off by itself. My eyebrows look phenomenal and I'm so glad I got them done by her. If only I was able to give her more than five stars! read more

Julie is AMAZING!! Like most others, I found her through Instagram. I was always too afraid to get my eyebrows permanently done. After following her for some time and admiring her work, I finally decided to contact her via her website. I got an email the next day requesting a picture and a few questions about myself. From there, we communicated through text and I was booked for her next available appointment (in two months). She does require a $50 deposit in order to hold your appointment. About three days before my appointment, I texted her requesting info on how to prepare myself. She responded right away, saying that she normally sends it 24 hours before, but if I wanted the info now, she'd send it. And she did. =] Now the day of, her spot was easy to find. Her shop is so cute - simple, chic, and clean. She spent the first hour to shape in my brows. Then it took another hour to tat each eyebrow. And three hours later, we were done. Julie gives you an Aftercare card along with ointment to use. She shows you how much to apply. Overall, Julie was super easy to talk to. I learned a lot about her as a person and a mother. She's so sweet and really talented!! I LOVE my brows!! I love not having to worry about my brows every day. I admire them every time I look in the mirror. LOL. I'm excited for my touch-up next month to make my brows even better!! read more

I found Julie on Instagram, and seen one of my friend get her brows done by her. Let me just say, JULIE IS SUPER AWESOME! The process was easy, she walks you through the process and makes sure that you are both in agreement prior to her even proceeding with anything permanent. The whole process took about 3 hours, but super worth it! Let me just say when you do decide to get yours done with Julie, the first 10 to 14 days prepare yourself because your brows will look REALLY DARK. After the peeling process and you've healed, you will truly appreciate the outcome. Julie was very easy to talk to, she made the 3 hours process feel like it was an hour. She was even reachable after the process especially when you have questions or concerns. Having your brows done would be one of the best investment a girl could ever get herself into. Saving time with not having to draw your brows is truly life saving. I can't wait to enjoy my vacation with my new brows, knowing that I won't need to worry about my brows is truly amazing! Thank you Julie! read more

Totally worth it if you spend a lot of time drawing your brows & brow products. Time and money adds up! A one time procedure and you're good for 1.5-2 years! I wake up with brows on fleek every morning. The procedure: Julie spent a lot of time drawing my brows. She's very careful and detail oriented! She carefully measured it & kept adjusting it until they were perfect for my face shape. A thing to keep in mind: Brows are sisters, not twins! After drawing: She outlines the Brows without numbing cream! It felt like a light scratch. After, she applies numbing cream and I didn't feel a thing. 6 weeks process: Brows were super dark but peeled off so nicely! Soft powdery effect. Retouch: Julie went over the small faded areas to perfect your brows even more. Results: I love them. They are totally worth it! Julie was super nice and knew her stuff! read more

Highly highly recommend her for ombré brows!! I always hated filling in my eyebrows for my makeup, and once I had my done, I never had to worry about it after that! Depending on how often you are sweating/washing your face/in the sun/etc, the results can last different amounts of times. My experience was great in that she worked with my shape and color preferences on my brow and didn't go into the procedure without me being 100% happy with them! read more

year 2018: julie is so sweet and very friendly. I was so excited to get my brows done with her due to high reviews. But unfortunately after the first session and 2 touch ups, the color of my brows faded within 2 months. I still don't understand why my brows faded so fast. I followed her instructions thoroughly and still had the same results. My brows were red for 2 additional months. I'm not sure if all her IG posts were just friends/people she knew but I definitely wasn't happy with my brows at all. They were also uneven as well. I was too embarrassed to go back for a third touch up because I don't want to keep complaining and cause more scarring to my skin. So I decided to wait until I found a better brow artist and have others review what went wrong. year 2020: got my brows done from another person in SD since she did all my family members' brows. After the first session, my brows healed perfectly with no redness and no issues at all. Also, they have healed faster than my previous brow artist. I couldn't be happier. I think this artist needs to work with different types of skin and also change the brand color or whatever it is she used on clients. read more

It's been a year that I don't need to draw my brows and that's all thanks a million to Julie. I am now back for my yearly touch-up. My request was for Julie to draw my brows tails longer than the original shape I had last year. I'm on my 4th days in and still enjoying the fresh new brows. The recovery part sucks the most but that's what we have to do for beauty. So far I got a lot of compliments and had made couple referrals to check out Julie's work. I enjoyed seeing her and chatting up with her every time. She is such a perfectionist and love the work she does. read more

This review is LONG overdue!! I got my brows a couple of months ago and Julie did an AMAZING job. A couple of days before she sent an extensive and detailed list of instructions on what not to do (like plucking my eyebrows) before an appointment and was extremely fast in responding to my texts. I arrived a few minutes early and after filling out the paperwork we immediately got started. My friends came along and she had a nice waiting room filled with snacks and water for them, so kind! Throughout the entire process, Julie was incredibly attentive to detail and sketched out my brows PERFECTLY. When it finally came to the tattooing portion she always checked up if I was in any pain, if the numbing cream was wearing off, and if I was doing ok. We talked throughout basically the whole session, and I had such a great time I honestly forgot I was even getting my eyebrows done. When she finished, she gave me ointment and aftercare instructions. She checked up on me a few days later to make sure my peeling process was going ok, and during my follow up two weeks later I had another great experience. My friends all asked me where got my brows done, and I happily sent them Julie's way! I am so glad I went to her and highly recommend her-- I drove up from San Francisco and trust me she is WORTH IT. read more

Julie is the sweetest person. She's very patience and meticulous with her work. She is a perfectionist and by far the best eyebrow person. I've been getting my brows done for over 10 years. I lived in VA and flew to San Jose to get my brows done. My first trip was pleasure so I did not follow her requirements before my procedure. I ate high sodium drank too much alcohol and caffeine. I have a HIGH pain tolerance so the pain part was not painful or the problem. I flew in FRIDAY got the brows done Monday flew home Tuesday am. I was swollen for a few days. I bleed a lot more then usual. After 5 days everything healed beautifully. It was itchy and my brows broke out from the cream that was given. Which was normal for me. I have oily skin so it happens. 4 weeks later I was there for business. I schedule to see her the next day. I did not drink or eat crazy. BOY my brows was perfect right after. No swelling heal faster!! I flew home 3 days after looking like perfection. I'm so glad I chose X.O Brows read more

Wanna get ready for your hot girl summer? First and foremost, you gotta get your eyebrows done at Julie's!!! I usually don't leave reviews but Julie definitely deserves one. I was really nervous leading up to the session, but Julie made sure I was 100% satisfied with my brow shape before starting. I very much enjoyed talking with her throughout the process and it definitely distracted me from the needles going into my face (which were relatively painless anyway) Thank you to Julie for making me look less like a naked mole rat and more like an actual human. read more

I've been following XO Brows on Instagram for a year before I finally committed to booking an appointment with Julie. There's been an overflow of artists that tattoo brows so I made sure I did my research. Booking an appointment requires a deposit that is put towards your session price. You'll lose your deposit if you are a no show. I had micro blading done 3 years ago but had since faded so the price I was quoted was for "new brows". Going to the salon, Julie took me in for my consultation of what style I wanted to achieve and what realistic goals could be in place. The consultation process means drawing the brows with a pencil and filling it in to make sure the arches are in place and stars are aligned. It took maybe 30 mins to do. After my brows were stenciled, it was time for the real thing! I got the numbing cream set in and Julie went to work. The end result of my first session I was really pleased! I chose medium brown and probably could have gone dark brown but was advised the touch up session I can go darker. TRUST THE PROCESS! Peeling will occur between 7-10 days. You'll look ratchet but that's what bangs and hats are for! Or go hide under a rock. My brows healed fine and I loved the shape of it! My touch up session was 6 weeks later and I couldn't be any happier with my brows! Julie is really sweet and actually follows up with you by text to make sure you're happy. Thanks Julie!!!! read more

Everyone knows the amount of trust you put into someone regarding your eyebrows..is a lot of trust!!! Your brow lady obtains the trust that your significant other might have hahaha. This is me being dramatic but let's be real!!!!! Eyebrows makes a huge difference in your face..so if it doesn't look right, you probably don't look right. I put all my trust in Julie with this huge step of tattooing..yes tattooing, not wax or threading, tattoo!! (Semi permanent of course). And I'm so glad I did. My brows turned out awesome!! But I am not going to lie, I had my doubts the first day..ok the first week but I trusted her when she told me it was going to shrink and fade. And it did! The first week will be scary, but Julie is great at calming you down and ensuring that everything will be okay. Whatever questions I had regarding my brows, she was there to answer. She even checked up on me after the first session and the second to ensure my brows were healing nicely. Not to mention during the drawing/shaping session, she took her time to make sure I liked the shape and the color that she was going to use. She is very articulate and will take her time making sure everything is perfect. If you're not sure about the process, send her a text and check out her website!! I love my eyebrows and I'm constantly getting compliments. Plus I get to wake up flawless!!! read more

Julie did such an amazing job on my brows! I traveled 2 hours to see her because I desperately needed my previous tattoo covered and corrected. Unlike my previous tattoo artist, she actually took the time explain the entire tattoo process for me and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She's such a nice person, and she's so sincere! She explains everything to you thoroughly. Even with how to take care of your brows as well! Literally I can say "I woke up like this." Lol! There are many reasons why I chose Julie and why I did not once regret my decision. Here are the top two reasons: 1. Meticulous is her middle name! 2. She provides outstanding customer service. Julie patiently made sure I was happy with the outline of the shape of my eyebrows. Not once did she rush me or feel frustrated with my requests. She always put me first and made sure I was comfortable. Even when we thought we were done, she would notice something wasn't "perfect" ( I say perfect with quotes because as Julie says "Brows are sisters not twins"!). She would have me lay down again and work her magic to make my eyebrows perfect. =) When you choose your brow artist, their work and attention to detail is important however please make sure to choose someone with a GREAT personality... I mean they are there sticking a needle in your skin for 2+ hours. Julie is the best! In addition, I like the location of her place, the beautiful decor, the snacks, and drinks! Having already done eyebrows is extremely helpful for my long commute to work and best of all I don't have to worry about putting my brows on! read more

All of the review you read about Julie is not a lie. Julie was very patient and took her time (over 1hr) just to draw my brows and made sure it was even and to my liking. During the actual tattooing process she ask me if I was ok (because it really hurts) and continues to try to make me feel as comfortable as she possibly can. We had great conversations and had a lot of laugh and giggles, its like I knew her forever. The healing process was exactly how she said it would be and she followed up with me during the next few days to see how things were going and we set up a follow up appointment. Second appointment wasn't as long and again Julie tried to make me feel as comfortable as she could, which means more numbing cream and more fun conversations. Fast forward 1 month later my brows is still a little light but I love it, I can't believe I WOKE UP LIKE THIS :) I may go back to get it darker. Thank you Julie you are really great at what you do and it totally shows in your work. As a gift I will buy you a doll or smelly Barbie (inside joke). lol read more

Julie is the absolute best. From start to finish, she was super detail oriented and took into account my concerns since my brows were a correction. I've had my brows done two times prior to Julie (over several years) and Julie was the only one to ever follow up with me via text and ask for pics to see how they were healing! So thoughtful. She also has a great numbing cream and has a very light hand. The whole time i barely felt anything (both previous times with other artists, i felt a lot and was uncomfortable.) Lastly, Julie is also a great conversationalist. Both appointments flew by b/c she's so easy to talk to! Love my new brows!!! read more

Got a long story to tell but just gonna stick to the review on my Brows. I love It. Julie is actually more concern about my Brows than me. she kept checking in on me after the initial procedure, and touch up to make sure I love my Brows. Julie is AMAZING!! If you're deciding which artist to go to for perfect brows, you should look no further! I'm a pretty picky person, especially with my brows because that's what really makes or breaks your face. I found Julie through Instagram and looking at her posts made me sure that I wanted to go to her. She's really sweet and makes sure that you like the shape before she starts the procedure. I only showed her one pic of how I wanted my brows to look and she nailed it first try hehe. She's a perfectionist which I love!! She truly shows that she's passionate about her work and cares about each clients satisfactory. She shaped my brows and I loved the shape but being the perfectionist that she is, she had some minor adjustments. During the procedure I didn't feel a thing because the numbing cream that she uses works wonders! She continually checked up on me as well to make sure that I wasn't feeling any pain. After my brows were done I already loved them! I had my brows done once by a diff artist and I hated them and they faded a really ugly color but she covered that up very well. If there's an option to give 10 stars I would! I never had my brows done before (however God created me, I left it as is). One day, I was referred to Julie through my cousin. At first, I was super nervous and didn't know what to expect (and whether my new brows would look good on me). Julie is super awesome. She is a perfectionist. She was very meticulous when she started to shape my brows to ensure it fits the shape of my face. She was very careful at every little detail and made sure the measurements aligned. I was also afraid of pain. She applied so much numb cream I didn't feel a darn thing! Even after the procedure completed, I felt no pain at all. She followed up a week after the procedure to make sure the brows turned out nice and I'm happy with it. When it was time for the final touch up, she re-evaluated her work to make sure I was again happy with my new brows. From start to finish, she really took great care of me as if I was family. I received a lot of positive feedback from family, friends and coworkers on my new brows. Keep up the great work Julie! I will be your client for life! I absolutely love my eyebrows! I have always gotten my eyebrows semi permanently tattooed and I was in dire need of getting them done again. They were super faded since my old brow lady retired and I was very skeptical about going to just anyone because I had a bad brow job done in the past. I look like I have no eyebrows when I have no make up on them because of how thin my hair is :( When I knew Julie was doing brows I trusted to go to her instantly. I know her personally and know how obsessed she has always been with brows and when you book your procedure with her you will see for yourself how much of a perfectionist she is with brows. She takes her time shaping and she will see the very slight differences between the shapes of the brows that you probably wouldn't be able to see yourself. The tattooing process itself didn't hurt at all with the numbing cream, I actually fell asleep lol. No more wasting time drawing in my brows and sometimes rushing when I don't have time and being unhappy with them for the rest of the day. I can leave my house without any make up and not feel like I look like a total ghost. Eyebrows make your face and having your eyebrows tattooed is a life saverrr! read more
