Pros: Initial contact- Chloe was warm, polite, and prompt in answering all my questions. I did very little homework and I just based it on their pictures and "success" stories. Procedure- the clinic was COVID compliant. You have to make an appointment and on the day of the procedure, you have to wait outside and call them indicating you have arrived. Facility was clean and professional-- makes you feel at ease. You have to keep your mask on! Experience- -first they clean you (YOU should ask what cleaner they use) -then they numb you (again, ask them what chemical they are using) -they take your brow/face measurements (they did not show me the process although, I took pictures and they looked symmetrical) -Then they *slice* you (not painful, I have tattoos so pain is 2/10, your brows will look bloody AF) -then they dye your entire brows (I looked like a dang angry bird, don't worry IT WILL FADE AWAY) -overall, the procedure was a success. No issues. After care- -watch youtube videos of microblading, whatever MINOR side effects you see are accurate. However, I had to go to urgent care because the surrounding area looked hella irritated. The findings: irritation from the cleaner used not the ink itself. You can go to your appointment with pictures of how you'd like your brows to look like, or you can leave it up to Chloe to determine what shape would look best for your face. First Chloe's assistant will apply a numbing cream to your brows for ~15 minutes before you head to Chloe. Chloe will then wipe off the cream, draw the outline of your brows and ask you if it's okay. I am SOOOOO in love with my new eyebrows!!! THANK YOU!!! Here is my experience with Chloe's Style: Price: $375 + tip I booked my appointment a month in advance. I arrived 15 minutes early and one of the staff members took me in immediately to look at my eyebrows. She took off my eyebrow makeup and snapped a couple of "before" photos. I was then moved into the next room where they put some numbing cream on my eyebrows. They then gave me some paperwork to fill out and after about 15-20 minutes later, Chloe went to work. She took her time to draw the outline and at one point even erased one brow to do it over. When I was satisfied with the shape, I laid down and she started microblading my eyebrows. I didn't feel anything! It didn't hurt at all. There were a few times where I felt the cut but it didn't hurt that much. Chloe always paused to make sure I was comfortable. I was expected the procedure to take 2 hours but fortunately I was in and out in just over an hour. Everyone was super friendly and I am very happy with their service. Be ready to look kind of crazy/wear a hat for a week: Days 1-3: my eyebrows were dark. My boyfriend made fun of them nonstop, LOL. Days 4-8: lots of scabbing so they might look patchy and kind of dirty since you can't directly wash your eyebrows with water What you should know before getting them done: - you won't be able to shower for 2 days so make sure you shower the morning of your appointment - stock up on make up remover wipes because you won't be able to wash your face for a week - when you shower after 2 days of no showering, make sure NO WATER gets into your brows. I just covered them with Vaseline & Saran Wrap. Scotch tape helped the Saran Wrap stay on. After getting out of the shower, gently dab the Vaseline off with a paper towel If you can avoid work/school for a week, that would be great because honestly I felt so gross. This review is for microblading and eyelashes. I asked for natural looking for both since I'm not wanting to go all out crazy. This is also the first time I've ever had both. First off the place is impeccably clean. I was able to get in relatively quickly for service (1 week appt). I literally had no idea what I wanted as far as shape and thickness for my eyebrows. The end result: super amazing eyebrows that look real. My husband who is the worst critic of them all about these services was astounded by the results. My eye leashes were exactly the style I wanted. The ladies here are literal magicians. Side note: This is 10 days after the initial microblading treatment. I haven't had the touch up appt yet. It's that good. The only improvement I could suggest is a hand out that explains the entire healing process and what to expect (ie flaking, splotches, etc). read more

As you can see from her 5 star reviews Chloe is extremely good at what she does. I originally had my eyebrows done over 25 years ago (yes I'm that old). My friend had some fantastic looking eyebrows and eyeliner so I wanted to get tattoo eyeliner just like hers. I've been thinking about getting tattoo eyeliner for the longest time - 15 years! When I first started thinking about it, I was not entirely convinced it was a good idea when I saw a lot of my aunties and even my Mom's tattoo eyeliner look wonky and fade. I finally got the courage to get tattoo eyeliner done. Times have changed and the ink and technique for the tattoo artists have changed dramatically. I actually have a high tolerance for pain so tattoo eyeliner should be a cakewalk, right? My concern was that since the needle is so close to the eyeball that terrified me. However seeing how beautiful my friend's eyeliner tuned out I trusted Chloe and her tattooing skills. I put on my big girl pants and went to Chloe, hoping she could give me tattoo eyeliner on my top lid with a wing. If you're going to get an eyeliner tattoo, make sure you get an eye ointment before you visit Chloe so you you have it on hand when you get home. I got Walgreens Sterile Lubricant Eye Ointment to gently dab on for a few days afterwards. The salon is clean and well organized. When she first started looking at my eyes and touching the skin around it she immediately said that the skin around my eyes was too thin. Giving me thicker eyeliner and a wing was not possible and the ink would spread because of the thin skin. Instead she suggested to tightline tattoo the top lid and if I wanted semi permanent or permanent. Considering semi permanent ink could last 2 years I was in no hurry to go back and do it again so I said permanent ink. They have a German machine that supposedly doesn't hurt that much so I choose that as well. They put on a numbing cream on your lid and not going to lie, that stung a little but I took a deep breath and went to my happy place. I laid down for 10 minutes to wait until the cream to work and tried to meditate. The tattoo did not hurt, instead it just felt weird having to look down and to the right or left whilst Chloe was manipulating my eyelid. After about 10-15 minutes she was done. She said since my skin was thin it was a challenge to tattoo them but she was glad I didn't move or complain too much. They rinsed out my eyes with water and I finally got a chance to look at the finished product. Wow......I LOVE my eyeliner tattoo! She managed to make my eyes look awake! If I wanted a cat eye all I had to do is put in a little flick at the end. After I sat there she looked at my eyebrows and said that the person who did it before didn't do such a good job and I have two different colored tattoos going on. I looked into a mirror and she's absolutely right! She didn't say it to upsell her services, she was just being honest. I had my eyebrows done earlier this year by another person in HK but I'm going back to Chloe next year to fix them. I was so happy with my results I've convinced several friends to get tattoo brows with Chloe. A friend just got her eyebrows tattooed (she had surgery and there were differences in her skin so Chloe measured her eyebrows carefully) and is happy with them. I'm so thankful I found this place! I had been interested in microblading for a while and began my search on Yelp. I found 3 locations that I was interested in. I called and spoke with each and finally settled on Chloe's Style - and I'm so glad I did! She books up very quickly so don't be surprised if there's a ~1 month wait before your appointment. On the day of my appointment I went in having already done my eyebrows the way I typically do so she can see the arch I'm comfortable with. She analyzed the way I did them and made a couple of adjustments (which were very welcomed!) and proceeded to remove the makeup. Sue applied a topical numbing cream, and then we were off to work. The procedure itself took about 45 minutes, 1 hour in total if you count the pre-work. It was COMPLETELY pain free. If you're worried about the pain, don't be. You will feel a slight pressure while Chloe is working, but no pain. Let's just say my jaw dropped when I saw the finished product. My eyebrows never looked so good! From cleanliness, to friendly/accommodating staff and the skill of Chloe's technique... I wouldn't have gone anywhere else. Day Of: Appt. was @ 2:30 on a Wed. I came in about 15mins early and had a brief consultation before the session about what I was looking for. My brows are very thin and have a natural arch... I wanted more of a straight fuller look with an ash brown color that would match my roots. After looking at my skin type (caucasian, sensitive, oily and reddish skin) she informed me that I would bleed more, the ink would fade faster and would blur slightly over time but would retain it's shape. I knew this from all the YouTube research I did beforehand on my skin type that this would probably happen. I'm looking to save time so I'm perfectly fine with that. After the consultation my photo was taken then I was escorted to a room where they applied the numbing cream. After a few minutes the cream was taken off and Chloe started to draw on an eyebrow shape. She showed me what it would look like with my natural arch and asked if I still wanted a straight design or wanted the arch she just drew on. She then proceeded to draw the other eyebrow straight so I had a side by side comparison. Still preferring the straight look she then fixed the other to match. With the eyebrow design drawn Chloe began using the blade. She had asked me if I could feel pain, I said that it didn't hurt but that I could feel it but it was bearable. There was a part of my brow where I felt it a bit more so she did apply more numbing cream. After that I felt nothing. I would say it took about 15-ish minutes for her to complete each brow. Then she said ok you're done, had me sit up and gave me a mirror. I'm not gonna lie, I was scared to look... when I looked at them tho I was very impressed. She is definitely an artist! Once Chloe was done, Sue escorted me back to take more pictures and schedule my next included session in 1 month. I was out by 3:30 so altogether I was there for a little over an hour. I thought microblading is to make your light and sparse eyebrows look perfect so you dont need to draw them every morning anymore. WRONG. At least not here. I first contacted them through yelp. They asked me if this is my first time. I said yes. So I figured they will let me know about EVERYTHING a first timer should now. The day of my appt : Chloe came in, she asked me do I want a high arch or regular arch? Uhm...this is my first time, how am I supposed to know? Also her assistant removed my drawn eyebrows before putting on the numbing cream. What would be helpful for them is to ask me if the ones I drew is what Im looking for and based it on that? Since what I drew on my eyebrows is based on my liking. Anyways, I showed her the pictures of eyebrows I want (PSA: all of the pics I showed her in all of my appts are from her yelp page). They all have arches, just like how I usually draw my eyebrows. She said it would be unnatural for me to have those arches bc I dont have a high arch. Im like um thats how I usually draw my eyebrows idk what you're talking about. She finally gave in cause I insisted. Again, reminder just like any shop owner, your clients come here and they pay you, so please do it based on what they like/requested. Unless your client ask you for your opinion WHICH I DIDNT so why can't you just do it according to your client's wish? Anyways, I liked what she did. She said if I want it to have higher arch, etc, I can let her know on my touch up appt. After 10 days my eyebrows look like my original eyebrows, sparse but a bit darker. No worries they told me touch up will make it look better. When I came in for touch up, she said its normal/supposed to turn out like that. Only 10% customers came back with nice results. It depends on your skin so now she goes on to blaming how bad my skin is - which she NEVER told me on my first appt. She proceeds to tell me that all the photos on yelp are their FIRST appointments thats why it looks so good. HELLO U NEVER TOLD ME ABT THIS EITHER. How come no one ever told me the 10% chance of having good results? They KNEW it was my first time microblading. Smh. She then proceeded to suggest me to get 4D since microblading has a more natural look at 4D is colored in. I remembered looking at something else somewhere similar to microblading and didnt like 4D since it looked so thick and dark. So I asked what does that look like she said "i just showed u!" Huh? The pics on my phone? She just said those are first time appt microblading! Idk why her answers are all over the place. Uhh ok then Ill just trust her. When laying on the bed, I asked her isnt touch up supposed to make it look better and she didnt answer my ques but told me if Im not satisfied then I can come back for touch up and pay a bit extra. We had language barrier - I have a hard time understanding her broken'ish English with Korean accent. She also was more impatient than my first appt. She was annoyed that i didnt understand her "2 months coming in" (seriously this is what she said verbatim) means so she called her assistant and explains with an exasperated tone to her (I can tell by watching a lot of korean dramas). Assistant proceeds to tell me that if I need to come in then I need to do it WITHIN 2 months. Thats what her "2 months coming in" means. How is one supposed to know?! Anyway I shut my mouth cause I dont want her to mess up my eyebrows. Now my eyebrows look like crayon being drawn on it. My rihjt has more shape than my right. My left ooks like an oval cut in half. No arch whatsoever. DUDE. ALL the pics and I really mean ALL the pics I showed her all have arches except for some ugly ones that I specifically said NOT LIKE THIS ONE (the ones that look like half oval). This time I really dont blame my bad skin, I blame it on her bad skills. Also PSA my skin isnt that bad. I have occasional pimples on my forehead bc it gets hot in my office but theyre not huge or bulging that has pus and blood. Just small ones. I will post a pic of my forehead. Most of the time I barely have any. Now I still need to draw my eyebrows in the morning otherwise it looks ridiculous. Filling in sparse spots and drawing more arch + elongate them. Being that microblading is so you dont need to draw your eyebrows anymore, this service deserves 0 stars. If they could've told me on my first appt that 1) you have bad skin and 2) your eyebrows will NOT have good results cause only 10% customers will have good results, then I would probably give them more credit. So people! Please DONT trust her small piece of paper saying touch up will make it better. NO. Touchup DOESNT make it better! Im a living proof. You should ask them about your skin and hold them to their word. Also DONT trust the pics she posted on yelp, those are first appt pics which looks perfect. read more

Resting Bitch Face? Oh no, honey. I don't have one of those. If you see me with a real mean mug it is 100% the result of a fully engaged and very deliberate b*tch face. [[Hat tip to my multiple facial tattoos...]] Yep, that's right. Facial tattoos... I've got 'em + let's talk about 'em. Sure I could have gone for a classic tear drop tattoo but instead opted to go a little more au naturale for once and get all of the following parts of my face tattooed. + Brows- Semi permanent microblading (lasts 6 months to a year) and worth every red cent. Swear I think I've referred dozens of people here after getting mine done and they're all happy customers. Recently went back for a touch up since it had been about a year and again, happy as a clam with my new angry cartoon eyebrows looking exactly how I like 'em at all times. + Lips- My natural lips were the color of drowned-out worms... not anymore with the help of Chloe and a lotta pretty painful needles. + Eyeliner- By far my favorite time and money-saving solution. It looks incredible and even though it hurt like b*tch, it sure is nice not having to f*ck with eyeliner and just looking at least moderately awake all the time. It's still pretty subtle, but it has made a huge difference in my get-ready routine. Huge warning though, when you get your eyeliner tattooed YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR F*CKING EYES OPEN. Yep, eye open the whole time, while a needle goes at your lid. If you weren't hard when you came in you'll sure as sh*t be ready for prison after this pain. But again, the end product is soooo good. While painful as f*ck, I'd do it all again in a heartbeat because I.look.SICKENING... and I definitely mean that in the way Gia Gunn would say it on RuPaul's Drag Race and not that I actually make people sick... although, if I do make people sick: Sorry 'bout it (said in a most patronizing and unapologetic way that Willam from RuPaul's Drag Race would say it). I'm happy with the end product and all time and money it saves me not having to deal with my inability to put eyeliner on evenly and my brows are sad and patchy. Chloe works with your face shape and really makes sure you get the best possible outcome. Between your initial tattoo and your touch-up (necessary) 30 days later, you can get a feel for your new, more defined face and communicate any changes with Chloe for the second round. The care process after wasn't as in depth as I was expecting. Gentle wash, pat dry, put vaseline on top of brows/liner/lips for two weeks after the process is done. I experienced no pain after the initial time of the tattoos and just some light flaking, as is normal, after getting a tattoo. Just know you'll look crazy for about 24 hours after lip tattooing, angry for about 18 hours after brow tattooing, and maybe a little swollen after eyeliner tattooing but also glamorous and awake immediately after. For most of the tattoos you can begin wearing make-up again the next day but just don't apply make-up on top of your tattoo for two weeks while it heals, plus the color will be bold enough that you won't want to apply anything anyway. As mentioned in my previous review, there's def a bit of a language barrier but if you speak Korean you're solid gold. Chloe is THE business when it comes to lashes and facial cosmetic tattoos and she's actually super funny if you get to know her. It is definitely an investment but the prices + quality are THE BEST you're going to find without leaving the country.I love Chloe and Sue and coming here has made my experience as a Silicon Valley-er interesting and fun. read more

Before I had my eyebrows tattooed, it used to take me about ten to fifteen minutes to fill them in every morning. They were still often uneven, much to my chagrin. I was SO nervous before having them done. First, even though they aren't permanent, it's not like you can just wipe them off immediately. Secondly, I've seen some horror story eyebrows in my day, particularly with vietnamese women (sup mom?). Anyway, Chloe practices a method of eyebrow tattooing that is called 3D embroidery, suitable for all eyebrow types. Embroidery is semi-permanent, provides definition, yet gives a very natural appearance. I.E. nobody knows that my eyebrows are tattooed save for the fact that I rave about them. She practices other eyebrow tattoo methods too, but I wanted the most natural looking option. My tips: 1. Bring in a picture of the shape that you like 2. Wash your hair/face before your procedure. 3. Buy some face wipes because washing your face is going to suck for the next two weeks. The process: 1. Chloe takes a razor and shapes your existing brows. Then, she draws in your prefered shape and fills it in. It will look really thick and intense, but DO NOT WORRY, she knows what she's doing. 2. After you are happy with your shape, you will lay down, and she will apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area, and saran wrap you like thanksgiving leftovers. 3. Then, she makes another outline. This one also looks REALLY thick, but it's not. Just let her do her job. 4. The actually tattooing. Embroidery sounds kind of terrifying, so I will qualify my subsequent statement by saying that I did not feel a thing during my entire procedure. In fact, we were joking and laughing the entire time. The artist takes a very small, fine blade and makes light, hair-like cuts onto the surface of your skin. Then, a pigment is applied and allowed to adhere. 5. Any extra pigment is removed and vaseline is applied as a protectant for your eyebrows. They will look too thick, too dark, and even too brown; however, the intensity fades after a week.(See pictures) After two weeks, your eyebrows will look natural but well defined. After Care Instructions: 1. Keep your eyebrows moist with vaseline for the first ten days, but do not apply it with a Q-tip as the cotton is too abrasive. Wash your hands for thirty seconds, and dry them with a PAPER TOWEL. Use your ring finger to apply a layer of vaseline over your brows. Now leave them alone. Don't touch them. They will get itchy. Don't scratch them. Sleep on your belly? Not anymore you don't! 2. On the first two night, apply a triple antibiotic (Neosporin) to prevent infections. Do not do this after the first two nights because antibiotics can exacerbate inflammation. 3. Avoid exposure to sunlight and the full pressure of your showerhead. Before showering, wipe your face with a cleansing cloth, and apply a generous coat of vaseline on your eyebrows. Shower facing away from the showerhead. Should you feel the urge to wash your face, have a cup read to pour water gently over your face rather than exposing it to running water. PAT your face dry with a PAPER TOWEL, and apply another coat of vaseline. 4. Do not try to pick off the skin that is peeling. It is a protectant for the new skin underneath. Just leave your eyebrows alone! After ten days, your life can resume as normal. Four to six week after your initial treatment, return for the free "perfecting" or "touch-up" session to adjust the pigmentation and/or shape to your liking. Take care of your eyebrows the same way after this session. I just want to reiterate that I am so, so emphatically, enthusiastically satisfied with my results, and I highly recommend the process and Chloe to anyone thinking of getting semi-permanent makeup done. read more

I made an appointment with Chloe last weekend to touch up my eyebrows. I initially got them done about a year ago, but the shape had grown out, and I wanted thicker brows. Instead of $250 for brand new clients, Chloe charges $150 for repeat clients, and $50 for additional touch ups if needed. I love my touched up brows, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. In addition, I also got my eyeliner tattooed. While I was super nervous about getting it done, Chloe is extremely gentle and knew how to work with me (my eyes are super sensitive and I can't even have eye makeup put on me). I assumed the eyeliner would be just above my lash line, but Chloe actually tattoos with the tight line technique, which makes the liner look more natural. Couple of things to note about the eyeliner tattoo: 1) Chloe applies a local anesthesia, so you will not feel too much. I felt a small bit of pain when she was working on the middle of my lids and at the tail, but it wasn't unbearable. 2) You will have to open your eyes slightly at certain points. Yes, it's freaky when black ink floods your field of vision, but Chloe is mindful and always wiped my eyes every few seconds to make sure I wasn't "blinded" for too long. 3) After the anesthesia wears off, there is some soreness for about an hour after. No major pain the days after, but there will be some swollen-ness/redness (you'll look like you had allergies or a major crying attack, but nothing too scary). 4) Great exercise for your glutes if you get nervous easily. :) read more
