Ann talked me through the color matching, what fading would look like, and asked me how I typically do my makeup so my brows wouldn't overwhelm the rest of my face. I don't usually get lash lifts but I've gotten them twice from (I'm forgetting her name ahh!! But she's the owner of Allure Faces) for special occasions, and each time my lashes stayed lifted for months?!! I was surprised watching the weeks go by and my lashes were still lifted. My last appointment was early January, and I decided to refresh them this month mid March. That's 2.5 months!! I don't have a special occasion coming up soon, but I'm deciding to get them done again because once every 2.5 months is a no brainer to make myself feel pretty, clean and put together without ripping my lashes out with my eye lash curler every morning -- which really only lasts for the first few hours of the day. It was my first time getting a lash lift. You would never think that guys can get a lift, but I recommend it. For me specific, I loved how it enhanced my eyes. People noticed it right away since I had long lashes. People thought I got extensions. Ann was super accommodating, friendly and professional! She asked if I wanted a natural or dramatic look. Since this was my first time, I definitely went for the more natural look. Since I loved it so much, I might want to consider a tint. It only took about 30 minutes and can't believe it'll last 4-6 weeks! I ended up taking my mom this week. Aside from Ann being wonderful, Ann was also honest. She did a consultation on my mom's lashes and since she had short and thin lashes, it would not have been worth spending the money. I was impressed on how she wasn't about taking the money. This is a review for my lip tattoo I received from Allure Faces (my first session 12/9/21 and second session on 2/11/22). It has now been 4 months and one week since my first session. I already go to this shop for my eye lashes to get tinted and lifted. So I already fully trusted this business. The technicians who worked on my lips were new to me and they were extremely thoughtful and kind throughout my time there. Each appointment was several hours long. I listened to two and half NPR podcasts lol. It was painful and bloody. Both technicians applied ample amounts of Lidocaine cream, sadly I still felt it. I am a heavily tattooed person and figured this wouldn't be unbearable. It was 5-8 out of 10 for pain. I asked for a color very natural. They mix up individual colors for every client. I was extremely happy with the color, but wanted something a bit brighter. My second session, she brightened it to this pink color and I am in love! The amount of effort and precision my technicians took into making my lips look perfect was incredible. No one knows it is a tattoo, but everyone comments and asks what is different about my face. Having permanent make up makes my life much more manageable and enjoyable. I have suggested this to all my friends and family members. Throw out your lipstick and lip liner. I came in today for my very first lash lift. I read the reviews on this place and they all looked really great so I decided to make an appointment. Ann was the one who did my lift, she was very friendly and professional. I came a bit early and she was able to help me a bit early. The whole thing only took about 30 minutes! She also gave me tips on how to upkeep and what to do for the next 24 hours. This was great because I didn't know all those rules and t It was pain free, a tiny bit uncomfortable, but totally worth it. The place is very clean, and there was tons of parking when I got there. My lash lift was $60 and if you get a lift and tint it is $80. These prices are very very reasonable considering other places charge around $100-$150. As soon as I got out of the chair and saw my lashes I was wowed. I want to wait to see when they start uncurling, but for now she definitely gets 5 stars and I will absolutely be coming back! read more

This review is long overdue, but is definitely needed!! I first reached out to Ann Ho to have my eyebrows done (micro blading). My right eyebrow had a little bit of hair where my left eyebrow had little to none. Then Ann suggested we do shading because more pigment would set in. I appreciated that she took the time to work on my eyebrows when there was little to work with. I got my first session done in September and then I went in for a touch up in October. Poor service. The beautician was chatting loudly with her friends the whole time. She failed to explain the procedure until prompted (even though she promised she would before the procedure), and even then simply gave a one liner. After I posted my review I read others' reviews and I honestly was shocked that there were any negative reviews! I would never normally post a picture of myself but I had my lashes lifted and dyed (took advantage of a Groupon on a lark), loved the results and then had my lips re-tattooed (a refresher from 15 years ago). I'd asked Anne if she thought I should have my eyeliner retouched (from 15 years ago) and she said, "no, it looks fine, I don't think it's necessary." I was so pleased with my lashes that I was willing to try all the enhancements at this salon. That's when I asked about lip tattooing. The color will fade a bit to it's final color but I won't need lipliner and lipstick anymore, I'm a lipgloss gal now!! An Update to my review as I came back to Ann to get my eyebrows done. Ann is knowledgeable and will be able to answer any questions you have! There are a few different techniques that you can get done to achieve semi-permanent eyebrows. There is microblading, ombre powder brows or a combination of the two. Ann was able to help me pick which was best for me and my skin type so that it would last the longest! I went with ombre powder technique which looks like I filled my brow in. I'M IN LOVE. Very few find their passion and is able to execute it through their professional careers. Ann is one of those people who has found that intersection. She obviously loves her work and is a genuine artist. So, first and foremost that addresses the question around trusting her as your artist. I went in 1 week ago to get my 1st microshading work done. Like many, I'm hoping to save time in the mornings drawing in my brows. Her recommendation was towards microshading vs microblading because of the oiliness of my skin and also the lack of brow hairs left (thx to age). She thoroughly explained everything - no single bit of info was missed. And the full process took about 2 hours after she carefully draws out the brow shape to your liking. The shading process probably took 30-45 mins and it just feels like someone is tweezing your brows. And, do note that she numbs your brow area with a topical treatment first. Plus, all her tools were either are new or sanitized. I trusted her because she has been in the business for a long time and is highly regarded. "Wow! I can't believe how easy that was!" That is exactly what you're going to say when it's finished. I know getting anything done on your face is scary. I was afraid the color might be too dark when she shaded it in. Then Ann reassumed me that it will look dark in the beginning but after it peels I would see the natural color. I can't believe ombré shading tattoo was done so quick and a lot faster than microblading. I was wish I know about this sooner. I have been missing out for so long. I also got a lash lift done with Jessie. Since I have straight Asian lashes, which doesn't hold a curl. I wasn't really sure if this would have worked for me. But I was wrong! I've been telling everyone about allure ever since Ann made me look years younger!! It was so easy to book an appointment to get my eyebrows shaded. I was really nervous, but Ann talked me through the whole way and completely calmed my nerves. The first session took about an hour. She was constantly checking in to see how I was doing, totally managed the pain level with numbing cream, and made sure I was always comfortable. I was soooo happy with the results (loved both the shape and the color!) After the first session, she checked in on the healing process and to see if I needed a touch up. We scheduled a minor touch up a month later because I needed my brows just a tad shade darker (FYI- during the healing process, eyebrows may fade slightly. But definitely better to go light first and then touch up if needed). Again, booking the touch up appointment was super easy My eyebrows look so natural and saves me so much time!
