I want to share my eyebrow journey because it took me almost 10 years to finally have the courage to fix my brows. The first time I had my eyebrows tattooed, I went with my mom to someone's house in San Jose. It hurt so badly that I actually sat up and said, "I'm done." She only finished one brow. The second time, I had my brows done during a microblading class. The person doing them claimed to have many years of experience and a busy shop. After several years of having my brows done and retouched from other places, I finally decided to get them removed. Aileen is about 1.5 hr away, but based on the pics, had the most proof on how effective her removal process and I'm so glad I went with her! She is very kind, her studio is super clean, gives thorough explanation, is honest about what to expect and how many sessions the process can take, even includes a whole new bottle of the after care product (not just a small sample like I've been given from previous techs). But most importantly, she is very gentle and tries to make it as comfortable as possible. With every session, she checks in with me throughout. There's been times that she'll start seeing me tear up, stops, and applies more numbing cream, waits til it kicks in, then continues. Its clear how passionate she is about her work in wanting to make peoole feel their best and offers other services and her own cute products as well. If I had more time and money, I'd definitely want to do more than just eyebrow removal with her! One thing to keep in mind is that she is typically booked weeks in advance. She does her very best to accommodate though even outside of her business hours if feasible because of how far I'm coming from, but honestly worth the wait either way.
