While I was only about 20 minutes away from the office, I received a text message saying my appointment was being canceled. I immediately called the office because I was already on my way. The receptionist assured me everything was fine and told me to come in anyway, saying they would "work something out." After I arrived, I was told by the receptionist very rudely too there wasn't enough time to numb the area before my filler and that I would have to go through it without any numbing medication. I found that completely unacceptable. Their scheduling issue should never become the patient's problem, especially when it involves unnecessary pain. Only after I firmly objected then she suddenly decide they could numb the area after all. That tells me it was possible all along, but I had to argue just to receive the standard level of care. This entire experience was disorganized, stressful, and unprofessional. Canceling an appointment while a patient is already on the way, then asking them to accept a painful procedure because the office was behind schedule, is not how patients should be treated. I hope they improve their communication, scheduling, and respect for their patients' comfort and time. Very unprofessional and disrespectful receptionist... I felt discriminated im always very respectful to everyone but it seemed like she just didn't like me that's why she was giving me hard time

The first time I had my eyebrows tattooed, I went with my mom to someone's house in San Jose. It hurt so badly that I actually sat up and said, "I'm done." She only finished one brow. The second time, I had my brows done during a microblading class. The person doing them claimed to have many years of experience and a busy shop. She was also supposedly trained by a famous microblading teacher. Unfortunately, I ended up crying about my brows for years. Not only did the process hurt, but I hated how my brows looked. They were extremely thick, high, uneven, and completely overwhelming for my small face. I felt like I had two devil horns sitting on my forehead. After almost 10 years, I finally found the courage to try again. When I went to Aileen's Beauty, I made it VERY clear that I did not want microblading. I was worried it would hurt, and I was also afraid that the results would fade within a few months. Aileen reassured me that the process would not be painful and, most importantly, that they would take their time to perfect my brows until I was completely satisfied. It has now been 3 months, and I honestly couldn't be happier with my brows. Everywhere I go, people compliment them. Other salons have even told me that my brows make my eyes look wider and more awake, which makes my whole face look more refreshed and youthful. They are always very friendly and accommodating for a walk-in appointment. The salon is hygienic and clean. They also have a very nice selection of gel polish colors, especially cateye colors. I recently had an ingrown toenail (my first ever in 33 years) after my latest visit but the owner was quick to help communicate this with the nail tech doing my pedicure so it doesn't happen again. This made me feel very understood and respected as a regular customer here. The owner also tries to remember the regulars at the salon and always offer a warm welcoming, which is very nice of her. They offer a discount for cash payments, but also accept Venmo (even for tips) while credit card has a small charge. I think their prices are very reasonable and definitely cheaper than the last salon I went to before switching to Pedi Nail Lounge. There is a large shared parking lot in front so plenty of parking nearby. Today I got my biggest piece I've gotten yet, and I wouldn't have wanted the piece done by anyone else but Mike Aveno done here. From the moment I walked into the shop until the time I was all done getting the work done, Mike was very nice, listened to what I wanted, and professional. His shop was very clean, up to date, and very artistic in his own way. The line work on the tattoo was very straight, the shading was very clean, and the piece came out awesome. I met with Dat, and he made me feel very comfortable. He's super chill and professional. He is funny, too. We reviewed ideas for my tattoo, and he was honest about the expectations.
