I had an incredible experience at New Generation, and I can't recommend Jayden enough. After seeing her work on Instagram, I reached out via email for a consult, and from the start she was responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. We began with a full one-hour consultation in-person, where she really took the time to get to know my ideas. We brainstormed together, looked at different styles, and talked through what I liked and didn't like. I never felt rushed or dismissed--Jayden genuinely listened, which made me feel confident moving forward. I sent my deposit via Zelle at the end of the consult, and everything felt very smooth and organized. My tattoo was done over three sessions, spaced about a month apart to allow proper healing. Jayden made every session comfortable and enjoyable, she's such a joy to be tattooed by. You can truly tell how passionate she is about her art and her style, and it honestly feels special knowing you're giving her the opportunity to tattoo you. This piece ended up being the largest project Jayden has ever taken on, and it was also the biggest piece I've ever gotten, which made the entire experience feel even more special and truly an honor for me. I first discovered Phong while scrolling through Instagram searching for artists. Once I stumbled upon his page and viewed his work, it completely resonated with me, which led me to sending him a DM. All the communication to confirm the tattoo and appointment was handled through IG. Throughout all the messages, Phong was very transparent about the process--from asking for details about the tat and placement to discussing pricing, setting up the appointment, and confirming it with a deposit. It was seamless. On the day of the appointment, once I arrived, Phong shared some ideas with me, and you can modify them to your liking until you reach a drawing you're satisfied with--which is exactly what I did. I never felt rushed and really appreciated that. During the session, I enjoyed chatting with him while withstanding the pain of being tatted, but regardless of the pain, it was still a great overall experience. Once the session was over, as with any artist, he went over aftercare tips, but what I also loved is that he has the care instructions posted on his IG page. In this age, digital and convenience are always appreciated. As for the tattoo, I'm very satisfied. He brought my vision to life--the piece I'd been wanting for a while. I always knew I wanted a flat and minimal hourglass but didn't know what the final image should look like, which is why I went to Phong after seeing his work. He did a phenomenal job, and it was great working and chatting with him. His attention to detail and stippling work is excellent. Honestly don't go here for ur tattoos. I came here for my first tattoo on Friday the 13 and got pretty much scammed after I told them it was my first tattoo. I have now got multiple tattoos 100 times the size and on a regular day and I paid less than half the price lol. Smart but also messed up. They also didn't even cover it with wrap and honestly took a long time for a piece that was not hard at all. They just don't have really good experience. Pick a different place for sure if ur thinking about going here. Still thinking about that money I lost a year later. Also I had to get it touched up by a different artist not even a year in.
