I reached out to Tattoo Nerds via Yelp. I was then contacted by Tiffany. I sent Tiffany a photo of what I wanted; she quoted me via texts and we scheduled the date and time. Tiffany was very nice and patient. She made sure that I had all of the answers before proceeding with the tattooing. It's about an inch tattoo on my arm, so it only took like 15min. The pain was manageable without any numbing cream. It was more intense when tattooing over some scars. I followed Tiffany's instructions on after care and everything went smoothly. Man where do I even start, Kidd was absolutely amazing to work with!!!! I've been following his work since he was tattooing at another shop. I noticed via his social media that he recently opened up his own shop, so I decided to jump the gun and inquire. Booking process was super easy, Kidd is extremely responsive and accommodating. Sent a DM on instagram saying I was interested in getting a leg piece, so he brought me in for a consultation the same day!! Might've just got lucky on that one. After arriving at the shop he greeted me immediately was professional, yet pleasantly friendly. After a short introduction he immediately got to work in helping me draw out a design. He was insightful and knowledgeable about any opinions or concerns that I had. After this process we set the the date. We ended up agreeing on mon - weds, and he even offered me discount for booking consecutive days!!!! Extra points there. Fast forward, the date finally came in. I showed up a little early but he made sure I was comfortable the whole time as he prepped his work station. He worked diligently, yet efficiently. Great conversationalist too, we both exchanged stories along the way which honestly helped keep my mind off the pain and made time go by quickly. Overall 10/5 stars if I could!!! Got a few tattoos from Billy (Kiddo). He showed up like an hour late both times. The tattoos are literally awful- wrong design, letters do not connect, uneven. Ink quality is terrible. 3 months later and I need to have it covered up already because it's so bad. Definitely do not go here. EDIT: Adding my pictures since he claimed my story was fabricated. Also spoke with him on the phone too and he was not willing to give me a refund. He just said come in and I'll give you a touch up- Why would I ever go back to him 1) When he clearly proved to me that he is not a quality artist and 2) After he's already seen my review and claimed it was fake just to protect his business lol. Anyone who looks at these tattoos can confirm that the quality is awful and it looks like a child just wrote on me. The tattoos were not how the stencil looked like when he put the images on me before the tattoo. I have other tattoos from different artists and they have not required a touch up 2 years later. -Stars are crooked and not straight at all, lines are missing, borders are uneven. -The zeroes are all different sizes. -The o's are different sizes. -The lines are not even connecting on some of the letters. -The ink is faded for all the tats, -For some letters like the I, the ink is almost completely faded. read more

Yup - I was dumb and an over-eager easy target and lost several hundred dollars on the 'non-refundable deposit'. BUT - I took that tough lesson and did significantly more research for a few months before choosing to get my sleeve done by Billie (ig BillydaKid) at TattooNerds. I actually met Billy earlier but then mistakenly decided on the 'eli' fool who posted a lot of good pieces on ig and was significantly cheaper than other artists posting high quality work. So, I liked the work of several artists, but they were either too busy and had a several month wait time, or just way out of my budget. That being said, I wasn't about to compromise on the work quality I wanted. So, when I reconnected with Billy, I set up an in-person consultation to make sure he was legit. He had just opened up his own studio. Fortunately for me, he was doing a new business promo which included fees & rates more to my liking. After the consult, I sent him my concept and personal story that I wanted his feedback on to translate it all into a collage design. Billy always responded to my messages promptly. The studio has a cool vibe look/feel to it also. I appreciated that there weren't a lot of other artists with clients coming in and out because it made it easier to chat during the process without having distractions. The result? I love the work (my wife does also). As you can see, the detail is amazing (see vid). The images and the overall look captures the story that is very personal to me. I have heard other people talk about their tattoo artist being "heavy handed" when they got their piece done. And so I did bring several tubes of numbing cream "just in case" -- but I ended up returning all of it because I never needed it. I'm looking forward to having future work done by Billy! Billy specializes in black and grey realism, you can literally send him any idea you like and he'll turn it into life for you. If you're looking for a talented tattoo artist, look no further. Billy was extremely respectful and makes you feel comfortable during your long tattoo sessions, he frequently asks if you're ok and offers breaks which is great bc it gets pretty painful. Let me start by saying this guy is the man! A true professional. I went somewhere to cover up a tattoo and that shop lacked detail and workmanship. Then I found Billy and messaged him and met with him. I showed him what I wanted and he came up with his own design which looked amazing. So being nervous from the last shop on there workmanship I was also nervous about starting with someone I didn't know other than looking at his work on his social page. So I went with Billy, I was so impressed that I had him do a full sleeve. Wait not done, I also went back for my other sleeve that someone else started which I wasn't to proud of and he made it look amazing. However I also went back for a chest piece along with armpits.
