Taylor was very kind and responsive by email when I reached out for an estimate. When I arrived for my appointment, she checked with me to be sure we had the size and placement the way I wanted it. It ended up being a little bigger than I'd originally thought, because of the scale and placement. Taylor very gently let me know that the total cost would go up somewhat due to the size being larger than the original estimate, and the new amount was reasonable so we proceeded. She has a light touch and I barely felt the line work - it wasn't till we got to the shading that I felt much at all. The lines are very clean and thanks to the tattoo film, it's healng really well. Walked to see if I can get a 25 year old tattoo some new life, left with a fresh revived and better piece!! Originally I wanted to just reoutline the piece but after some consultation with Benny (the tattoo artist), he talked me into filling in the whole piece instead of just outline. I honestly didn't want to sit that long, but afterwards it was all worth it!! Benny even fixed the "P" to make it look more like a "P". Shop vibe was down to earth! I had a truly impulsive moment of getting a tattoo with my brother while he was in town, and Taylor Ink caught our eye. We called around 6:30 as a shot in the dark, and she had us come over right away. Benny helped us out with getting set up with our sketches and placement, and I was personally tattooed by Taylor. Got my first tattoo with Taylor and the experience from start to finish was amazing. After looking for an artist, I found Taylor on Instagram. Within 24 hours of reaching out with no prior contact, she already got back to me. Her communication was very professional the entire time and we were able to set up a consultation date and tattoo appointment date very quickly. Throughout the consult, Taylor was very engaged on the design process. The communication stayed strong, and it was clear she went out of her way to make sure she understood every concept / detail I wanted to include. Also, the shop itself is very clean. The setup is very nice and I could tell a lot of thought went into it. The tattoo appointment itself went great as well. The pain wasn't bad at all, and we took breaks every 90 minutes or so to give the skin a break. She asked me several times if I needed water, a snack, or anything at all to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. When everything was finished, Taylor answered all my questions about aftercare and made it clear I could reach out with any questions/ concerns about the healing process. Now, several weeks later, the tattoo still looks amazing and hasn't faded in the slightest Overall, I was very impressed with the experience. From the constant behind the scenes professionalism to the flawless execution of my tattoo, I'm very glad I went with Taylor for my first time. I genuinely feel as though I have a work of art on my body. I drove an hour and 44'minutes to consult with Taylor for a calf tattoo. She was nice and listened to my ideas and said it would be best if I was to work with Benny. Met Benny and he was a cool guy and treated me kindly. The tattoo was supposed to be rose vines with thorns crawling up my calf and he free-drew it just like that but I felt like he took too long on it because it was around 5-6hours. I say 5-6hours because he spent around an hour shading the clouds on my forearm and just decided to "fix" the other parts because he told me he thought it would look better even though I didn't ask him to touch that part and kept repeating myself. He also drew squiggly lines above the cloud and I didn't ask for that. I asked him to fix it the second session and he just made a darker squiggly line and not clouds. It was fine where it was at but he just decided to do what he wanted. For the vine there wasn't much detail or was it even a big piece. He charged me by hour which went to $750 total. I felt ripped off because it shouldn't have taken that long but I know all artists are different. I have multiple other tattoos that are 2x bigger than his and it was less and good quality for comparison but didn't go back to them due to unprofessionalism. I also got 2 roses done by him. He was nice enough to charge by piece. So it was 500 for 2 palm sized roses. I went to another artist today to consult my leg sleeve and they said the vines were against the flow of my calf and everything didn't look good. Said it needed to be fixed along with the roses and said everything looked bad. I know artists tend to trash talk each other from my experience with 6 other artists. Called Taylor to see what she would say about how I felt that it took too long and it shouldn't have been that much. She took things personally and kept gaslighting me and telling me he's cool over and over and he spent the whole night with me and all that. Yes he treated me nicely and he can be a good person but I don't think the amount of time he spent equated the quality of his work. From listening to them talk, they don't do refunds and it's just a laugh in your face if you try to ask. I have the right to express my concerns but when expressed, I felt attacked and gaslighted. I don't wanna say he's a slow artist but he does take his time, fair warning because no one mentioned that. Thank you for being friendly at first, I will continue looking for another artist. read more

The owner is great, super friendly, everyone that works there is as well. It was cool to chat with them to wind down a bit before getting my first tattoo in 10 years.
