Great work! I could tell from her portfolio that Taylor has artistic range, but I was still shocked at how well she captured my vision. I was nervous coming in with a pretty vague idea of what I wanted and limited reference drawings. We sat and talked through the idea as she started pulling the design together. I came back for a design review a few weeks later and really had no notes. This is my first tattoo, but the pain was manageable and my skin healed quickly. She puts a lot of care into the process, getting to know your story and making sure the details are just right. I'm excited to build the rest of this sleeve with her in the future! read more

Taylor Ink - Taylor is the most professional tattoo artist. Loved her works & many more will follow. - Tattoo Near Me - San Jose, California

Taylor was very kind and responsive by email when I reached out for an estimate. When I arrived for my appointment, she checked with me to be sure we had the size and placement the way I wanted it. It ended up being a little bigger than I'd originally thought, because of the scale and placement. Taylor very gently let me know that the total cost would go up somewhat due to the size being larger than the original estimate, and the new amount was reasonable so we proceeded. She has a light touch and I barely felt the line work - it wasn't till we got to the shading that I felt much at all. The lines are very clean and thanks to the tattoo film, it's healng really well. Glad I found her. She's a lovely person as well as a great artist! read more

From the moment we started talking, she made sure she understood exactly what I wanted, while also offering honest and respectful advice based on her professional experience--which I really appreciated. Taylor took her time to make sure I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process. It had been over 10 years since my last tattoo, and I was a bit nervous, but chatting with her felt like catching up with an old friend. The easy conversation and calm vibe helped take my mind off the nerves completely. She was thorough, attentive to detail, and kept everything impeccably clean. Taylor Ink and the artists here are incredibly talented and a joy to be around. I highly recommend this studio to anyone that is seeking to have their tattoo ideas realized. I contacted Taylor through Yelp, and she immediately asked me to come in for an initial consultation. I had asked for a realistic octopus, black and grey on my chest. Over the course of our sessions, she did my piece completely free hand and created an incredible work of art. The tattoo came out more detailed than I had ever expected it to be and I am so grateful for Taylor for putting in so much effort, time, and love into this quality art. Walked to see if I can get a 25 year old tattoo some new life, left with a fresh revived and better piece!! Originally I wanted to just reoutline the piece but after some consultation with Benny (the tattoo artist), he talked me into filling in the whole piece instead of just outline. I honestly didn't want to sit that long, but afterwards it was all worth it!! Benny even fixed the "P" to make it look more like a "P". Shop vibe was down to earth! Everyone in there was chill and very welcoming ! Even the other clients getting tattoos. Thanks Benny for taking the time to make me love my tattoo again! Cant wait for the next one! read more

Took a gamble and walked into this tattoo shop after my haircut next door and was not disappointed!! Talked to Kasai about the design and quote that I wanted and was pleasantly surprised at the sketch. Kasai was very responsive to texts so corrections were easily made prior to the appointment. During the appointment, they somehow got a personal DJ mixing his track, making the room more lively, in addition to Taylor being super energetic! Kasai was able to finish the tattoo in less time than I thought so the tattoo was very reasonably priced. He was detailed and did great with the thin lines. Will be back for the touch up! read more

Got my first tattoo with Taylor and the experience from start to finish was amazing. After looking for an artist, I found Taylor on Instagram. Within 24 hours of reaching out with no prior contact, she already got back to me. Her communication was very professional the entire time and we were able to set up a consultation date and tattoo appointment date very quickly. Throughout the consult, Taylor was very engaged on the design process. The communication stayed strong, and it was clear she went out of her way to make sure she understood every concept / detail I wanted to include. Also, the shop itself is very clean. The setup is very nice and I could tell a lot of thought went into it. The tattoo appointment itself went great as well. The pain wasn't bad at all, and we took breaks every 90 minutes or so to give the skin a break. She asked me several times if I needed water, a snack, or anything at all to make sure I was comfortable the entire time. When everything was finished, Taylor answered all my questions about aftercare and made it clear I could reach out with any questions/ concerns about the healing process. Now, several weeks later, the tattoo still looks amazing and hasn't faded in the slightest Overall, I was very impressed with the experience. From the constant behind the scenes professionalism to the flawless execution of my tattoo, I'm very glad I went with Taylor for my first time. I genuinely feel as though I have a work of art on my body. I will definitely be going back whenever I want to get additional work, and can't recommend Taylor ink enough. 10/10 experience from start to finish read more

I drove an hour and 44'minutes to consult with Taylor for a calf tattoo. She was nice and listened to my ideas and said it would be best if I was to work with Benny. Met Benny and he was a cool guy and treated me kindly. The tattoo was supposed to be rose vines with thorns crawling up my calf and he free-drew it just like that but I felt like he took too long on it because it was around 5-6hours. I say 5-6hours because he spent around an hour shading the clouds on my forearm and just decided to "fix" the other parts because he told me he thought it would look better even though I didn't ask him to touch that part and kept repeating myself. He also drew squiggly lines above the cloud and I didn't ask for that. I asked him to fix it the second session and he just made a darker squiggly line and not clouds. It was fine where it was at but he just decided to do what he wanted. For the vine there wasn't much detail or was it even a big piece. He charged me by hour which went to $750 total. I felt ripped off because it shouldn't have taken that long but I know all artists are different. I have multiple other tattoos that are 2x bigger than his and it was less and good quality for comparison but didn't go back to them due to unprofessionalism. I also got 2 roses done by him. He was nice enough to charge by piece. So it was 500 for 2 palm sized roses. I went to another artist today to consult my leg sleeve and they said the vines were against the flow of my calf and everything didn't look good. Said it needed to be fixed along with the roses and said everything looked bad. I know artists tend to trash talk each other from my experience with 6 other artists. Called Taylor to see what she would say about how I felt that it took too long and it shouldn't have been that much. She took things personally and kept gaslighting me and telling me he's cool over and over and he spent the whole night with me and all that. Yes he treated me nicely and he can be a good person but I don't think the amount of time he spent equated the quality of his work. From listening to them talk, they don't do refunds and it's just a laugh in your face if you try to ask. I have the right to express my concerns but when expressed, I felt attacked and gaslighted. I don't wanna say he's a slow artist but he does take his time, fair warning because no one mentioned that. Thank you for being friendly at first, I will continue looking for another artist. read more

Well, where do I start. Loi was my artist. He's awesome. I pretty much felt no pain, enjoyed the conversation and he delivered what I wanted. Alright back to the business... The owner is great, super friendly, everyone that works there is as well. It was cool to chat with them to wind down a bit before getting my first tattoo in 10 years. It's very clean - I got to see a client leave and was very impressed with the thoroughness of cleaning the station. My favorite part about this spot - it was a super chill / welcoming vibe. My friend and I got tattoos here. Taylor was super flexible with time and our artist was very friendly, would recommend!

I inquired via Yelp and went there on an appointment. I already had a design brought it there. Spoke to Taylor & explained that my design was basically a rough sketch and asked if they could help me perfect it. They happily said Yes. Cool vibes! On the appointment day, Kasai was the one who worked on the piece. He is very kind and polite and values his clients. All I could say was that he is very patient and is a perfectionist. Knowing that getting inked will be permanent, he made sure everything is perfect. I really appreciate the work he has done on me. I may be coming back for more. Thanks again.
