It was only until I saw my cousin's portrait tattoo that I knew I found my tattoo artist at Da Wei Tattoo. There are a lot of skilled tattoo artists and then there is Da Wei. There aren't enough words to describe how talented Da Wei is. He is a unique tattoo artist; he is a creator. I appreciate how passionate Da Wei is with his work. Da Wei is not intimidating or pretentious at all, despite having so many tattoo awards! He is friendly and personable. I feel like I'm at home at his tattoo shop. As his guest, I'm a co-creator instead of another customer. Da Wei helps me translate my vision into real-life through beautiful and intricate artwork. He always goes above and beyond to research and curate and present the perfect tattoo. I love peeking inside his office to see what concepts he is working with and what he's creating next. As a creator, Da Wei is light on his fingers. He is gentle, careful, and considerate. He always makes sure that I feel comfortable and that I'm confident with his work before, during, and after my tattoo sessions. Da Wei is also communicative and transparent. Each session is like another consultation. He will let me know if something will or won't work. He also makes suggestions, but is neither pushy about it. I never regretted any of his suggestions; that's how much I trust him! Da Wei chose the perfect placement for my tattoo where I can appreciate and admire it. I love the details of each individual lily. Each lily has its own characteristics and beauty. The colors are also vibrant and compliments not only my complexion, but my personality. I had a hard time searching for a tattoo artist because flower tattoos were considered too basic. It's true; flowers are simple. Anyone can tattoo a flower, but it takes a special kind of artist like Da Wei to turn something common into something classic. The most skilled chefs are the ones who've mastered the foundational sauces. I know that my tattoo is one-of-a-kind because Da Wei created it with his vision, my vision, and personality in mind. Da Wei Tattoo is not a one stop tattoo shop, it is a gallery of lifetime artwork. You'll know what I'm talking about once you visit the shop.

I got a tattoo from Jayden about 3 weeks ago. First of all, the service was amazing. Everyone there…read morewas very nice. Some shops have that old school, tough guy thing going on that can make some people feel almost unwelcome but that was not the case here. I was immediately welcomed. I set up my appointment with Jayden through her Instagram page and honestly knew right away this was going to work. She was excited to work on the piece and was very clear with her communication. The tattoo itself is absolutely gorgeous! This was a piece I had put off getting because it's a cat and sometimes cats (specifically cat faces) are hard to do. I'm so glad I waited until I found the right artist. I'm definitely going back for more animals tattoos and maybe I'll even start my travel tattoos too. Also, the vibes are immaculate. Think gothic, macabre with some dark academia.

There was a 4 month wait from when I scheduled to appointment day (like doctors, restaurants, and specialists, a long wait list means you've found the best). She sent me my sketch a couple days before the appointment. Mary's studio is peaceful and professional. I brought headphones and was amazed that we were done in approx. 30+ minutes. Girl is QUICK at her craft! The price was incredibly fair for the beautiful work. It's been 3.5 years and the tattoo still looks good as new! (With proper care-all of Mary's clients know you wear SFP for LIFE) I ended up referring my best friend to Mary, who's now gotten several tattoos done by her! I highly recommend her to everyone-especially if you're looking for floral and/ or color. She's an incredibly gifted artist that I was fortunate to find!

It's been a long journey since 2022, and here I am in 2025 still going through tattoo removal. I've…read moreheld off on writing this, but I think I'm finally ready to share my experience. I originally went to Mary to get a tattoo of a paper crane with "Mary" worked into the design. I had gotten a small tattoo from her before, and she was super nice and warm -- which is what made me comfortable going back for a bigger piece. When I arrived for this session, she seemed friendly and welcoming at first, but her vibe shifted. She was kind of cold and dismissive once things got going. Looking back, I should've taken that as a red flag to maybe not go through with it, but I brushed it off. I gave her several reference photos and she drew something up. During the session, I chose not to look because I wanted it to be a surprise -- but I was still checking in, asking questions like, "The blues are going to be really light like the photo, right?" Just trying to make sure we were aligned on the look and colors. When it was done and I finally saw it, I was shocked. It didn't look like the reference at all. The lines weren't straight, some looked blown out, and the light blues just looked muddy... and it looked disproportionate. It had none of the delicate, clean feel I'd been going for. It honestly looked like something done by a beginner. I kept telling myself maybe I'd get used to it or it would look better once it healed -- but the more I looked at it, the more I hated it. Within a few weeks, I was already looking into laser removal. The clinic told me I had to wait about two months for the tattoo to fully heal before starting, and I did. Then I began my removal journey, which I'm still going through today. It's been tough, but the tattoo has faded a lot, and I'm finally starting to feel like myself again. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I think I paid around $220, including a drawing fee. One of my best friends is a tattoo artist, and he once told me something I'll never forget: "Good tattoos ain't cheap, and cheap tattoos ain't good." That definitely hit home for me after all this. Just sharing my story -- along with my reference photos, Mary's drawing of what she will be tattooing, what she actually tattooed, and the progress from my laser sessions -- in hopes it helps someone else avoid the same experience.

As we were hanging out waiting to get tattoos we both noticed they offered piercings. Weren't in the mood for some new holes at the moment but thought to ask about jewelry and see if there were any cute options. After talking with the piercer/tattoo artist and realizing her name was Sabrina I realized this was the person that used to work at a previous shop that had worked on me before and permanently damaged my friend and I, and ended up in the hospital with staph infections. I was so caught off guard and honestly so upset that this person is still actively piercing people that we left and didn't get our tattoos. I am still so scarred from the trauma that Sabrina caused me to endure and the hospital bills and pain I suffered. I'll attach photos below of what she did to me and the reviews I left for her from my previous encounter with her. Her Jewelry is extremely low quality, shes never there for you when you need help or issues with your piercing and extremely unreliable. PLEASE for the safety of your life, do NOT get pierced or serviced by Sabrina!!!!
