He took me through his workstation on how each person has a brand new needle and ink set. Once the work is completed, he discards the needles in his biohazard red bin under his workstation. He made sure my tattoos had the correct symmetry on my arm. This was my very first tattoo and ended up with two. Chapter Tattoo is the best place in town.

I was looking for fine line tattoo artists in the area on yelp and after looking through his instagram, decided his art style was in line with what I wanted. Day of, I brought my boyfriend to keep me company. Pretty easy to find, lots of parking, Ian's studio is in the back corner of the salon. He showed me the sketch and then we discussed placement and size. He printed out a few sizes to give me an idea. Ian got to work right away and I didn't feel any pain, just very light pressure. The process was pretty uneventful, Ian is very professional. Afterwards, he gave me some aftercare instructions and sent me on my way. A year later, my tattoo still looks great. Would definitely return if I decided to get another tattoo in the future.

The work was done with the utmost professionalism and respect. Kudos to Tony Silva for ensuring the customer's experience is as important as the tattoo being done. He ensured that I was comfortable and made sure I knew what to expect. He checked with me several times to ensure the tattoo design, position, and size were exactly as I wanted em. And the place itself was well kept, clean, and organized. Tony's station set up was as pristine as any tattoo parlor's I could expect. I'm considering getting another tattoo and can't see why I'd consider any other parlor except for if the tattoo style didn't match their artists' specialties. 10/10 would recommend!

It was only until I saw my cousin's portrait tattoo that I knew I found my tattoo artist at Da Wei Tattoo. There are a lot of skilled tattoo artists and then there is Da Wei. There aren't enough words to describe how talented Da Wei is. He is a unique tattoo artist; he is a creator. I appreciate how passionate Da Wei is with his work. Da Wei is not intimidating or pretentious at all, despite having so many tattoo awards! He is friendly and personable. I feel like I'm at home at his tattoo shop. As his guest, I'm a co-creator instead of another customer. Da Wei helps me translate my vision into real-life through beautiful and intricate artwork. He always goes above and beyond to research and curate and present the perfect tattoo. I love peeking inside his office to see what concepts he is working with and what he's creating next. As a creator, Da Wei is light on his fingers. He is gentle, careful, and considerate. He always makes sure that I feel comfortable and that I'm confident with his work before, during, and after my tattoo sessions. Da Wei is also communicative and transparent. Each session is like another consultation. He will let me know if something will or won't work. He also makes suggestions, but is neither pushy about it. I never regretted any of his suggestions; that's how much I trust him! Da Wei chose the perfect placement for my tattoo where I can appreciate and admire it. I love the details of each individual lily. Each lily has its own characteristics and beauty. The colors are also vibrant and compliments not only my complexion, but my personality. I had a hard time searching for a tattoo artist because flower tattoos were considered too basic. It's true; flowers are simple. Anyone can tattoo a flower, but it takes a special kind of artist like Da Wei to turn something common into something classic. The most skilled chefs are the ones who've mastered the foundational sauces. I know that my tattoo is one-of-a-kind because Da Wei created it with his vision, my vision, and personality in mind. Da Wei Tattoo is not a one stop tattoo shop, it is a gallery of lifetime artwork. You'll know what I'm talking about once you visit the shop.

I've followed Sergio on Instagram for several years and I always said he would be my next tattoo artist. Sergio does an amazing job on traditional and Neo Americano tattoos which is exactly my vibe. One night I messaged him on instagram and within a few hours I had a response from him to talk about the project. He was really patient with me while I worked through a million questions and he was just as excited about doing the tattoo as I was. Sergio was amazing! I gave him an inspirational photo and told him I thought it was missing a lot of umph but I didn't know what. He immediately knew though! He submitted his design to me and it was perfect. Everything I wanted that I could not put into words. The best part of all is that it actually looks like my cat. He worked really hard to get his features to come through. The day of the tattoo I am super nervous but when I walked in the place had great vibes. Let me just say how CLEAN this shop is. Its got chill vibes which was really calming. All the artists said hi and Sergio was right there by the door greeting me. Sergio and I talked about size previously but once the sketches were printed out we decided going about an inch larger would be better. I held the design to my leg and agreed. Great eye, Sergio! Also like to add that Sergio was completely professional. Ladies, we've all had a creep tattoo us and Sergio is not one of those guys! RECOMMEND RECOMMEND RECOMMEND. All the green flags. Now as far as the tattoo process went, let me just tell you what!! Sergio is FAST but PRECISE. I've never seen such a clean tattoo before. This tattoo took less than three hours for the amazing quality that it is. He has a light hand so this was probably the LEAST painful tattoo I've ever gotten. Out of all for artists that have put their artwork on my body, his technique was the most comfortable. I can not stress this enough, it was not uncomfortable to sit for this long and were it a larger tattoo, I could have kept going. I was super impressed when he really took the time to capture the color of my cat's eyes and sat there customizing a color to get it just right. He had a picture of my cat on his tablet propped up on the table the whole time to ensure accuracy. Special thanks for Chris in the studio! He came over to peep the project and we got to talking about food and culture. I was so into our conversation that I forgot I was even getting tattooed and was completely shocked to look down and see the outline was done. What a great distraction and some good convo. As for parking, there is plenty of parking in the back. The studio is in a corner building so just turn down the side street and there's a parking lot right behind it. I felt completely safe in the parking lot and it looks well kept. Overall, you're crazy if you aren't getting a tattoo at Sacred Oath. Definitely check out their artists on their website. They have an artist for just about any style project you are looking for. Highly recommend Sergio and his work.

The tattoo itself is absolutely gorgeous! This was a piece I had put off getting because it's a cat and sometimes cats (specifically cat faces) are hard to do. I'm so glad I waited until I found the right artist. I'm definitely going back for more animals tattoos and maybe I'll even start my travel tattoos too. Also, the vibes are immaculate.
