I recently lost my first pet after spending a wonderful 17 years together. By day two, I knew I needed to get a memorial tattoo asap. I've followed Sergio on Instagram for several years and I always said he would be my next tattoo artist. Sergio does an amazing job on traditional and Neo Americano tattoos which is exactly my vibe. One night I messaged him on instagram and within a few hours I had a response from him to talk about the project. He was really patient with me while I worked through a million questions and he was just as excited about doing the tattoo as I was. Sergio was amazing! I gave him an inspirational photo and told him I thought it was missing a lot of umph but I didn't know what. He immediately knew though! He submitted his design to me and it was perfect. Everything I wanted that I could not put into words. The best part of all is that it actually looks like my cat. He worked really hard to get his features to come through. The day of the tattoo I am super nervous but when I walked in the place had great vibes. Let me just say how CLEAN this shop is. Its got chill vibes which was really calming. All the artists said hi and Sergio was right there by the door greeting me. Sergio and I talked about size previously but once the sketches were printed out we decided going about an inch larger would be better. I held the design to my leg and agreed. Great eye, Sergio! Also like to add that Sergio was completely professional. Ladies, we've all had a creep tattoo us and Sergio is not one of those guys! RECOMMEND RECOMMEND RECOMMEND. All the green flags. Now as far as the tattoo process went, let me just tell you what!! Sergio is FAST but PRECISE. I've never seen such a clean tattoo before. This tattoo took less than three hours for the amazing quality that it is. He has a light hand so this was probably the LEAST painful tattoo I've ever gotten. Out of all for artists that have put their artwork on my body, his technique was the most comfortable. I can not stress this enough, it was not uncomfortable to sit for this long and were it a larger tattoo, I could have kept going. I was super impressed when he really took the time to capture the color of my cat's eyes and sat there customizing a color to get it just right. He had a picture of my cat on his tablet propped up on the table the whole time to ensure accuracy. Special thanks for Chris in the studio! He came over to peep the project and we got to talking about food and culture. I was so into our conversation that I forgot I was even getting tattooed and was completely shocked to look down and see the outline was done. What a great distraction and some good convo. As for parking, there is plenty of parking in the back. The studio is in a corner building so just turn down the side street and there's a parking lot right behind it. I felt completely safe in the parking lot and it looks well kept. Overall, you're crazy if you aren't getting a tattoo at Sacred Oath. Definitely check out their artists on their website. They have an artist for just about any style project you are looking for. Highly recommend Sergio and his work. read more

I randomly had time to myself yesterday (which never happens), and I decided that I wanted a tattoo. I reached out to several shops and heard back from Sacred Oath pretty quickly. Sacred Oath Tattoos was an amazing experience. I walked in without an appointment just a bit before 10 p.m. Jero was the artist who greeted us and very professionally welcomed us in. Jero is a really friendly person, and although my tattoo was very small with a big meaning, he took a lot of time preparing the tools, making sure the space was immaculate, and setting up a very sanitary station. Jero had a steady hand, and that made getting the tattoo not painful at all for me. I also had a chance to see Jero's art and other tattoo artists around the shop. The talent and creativity was above and beyond. I am thankful to have saved this particular spiritual memory and that Jero kindly took the time for my tattoo as a walk-in. My husband is next! A VERY late update, because life gets to you. Got a second tattoo from Phil a year or so later. Was not a really nice dude to work with again. Felt uncomfortable being alone for it and I felt like a nuisance. He was too rough and was going too hard during the session and ultimately made the tattoo blow out so it looks pretty crappy. And it's on my arm, so it's out there for everyone to see so that's just great. I always tell people to avoid this place. read more

My boyfriend and I went in to get some Nightmare Before Christmas tattoos and are you kidding!? They came out STUNNING! I went to this tattoo shop after a friend recommended it. While I wasn't a match with the same tattoo artist I found someone else. His skill and talent were obvious based on his IG. I organized a time and met the artist to go through my project. I paid a deposit and agreed a time. I found him slightly negative about my ideas and he was quick to say no instead of proposing alternative options. He was nonchalant and clearly not engaged. Communication was poor and I was left chasing him for updates. After a few chasing emails, I finally heard back and we mutually agreed that we were not going to pursue the project. So, I actually found Crystel's Instagram and contacted her via email for an appointment. She was very responsive! Setting up the appointment with her went very smoothly and she was able to work around my schedule. The consultation with her went well. I gave her my ideas and she sent me the sketch a couple days before my first appointment. Her sketch of what I wanted was better than I expected! Crystel is great! She made me feel 100% comfortable, starting from day one. Communication with her was always good and flexible. When it came to the tattooing, she was super chill and easy to talk to. Also, she made sure that the tattoo looked its best by taking her time and double checking the tattoo. Also, cleanliness was a plus! Crystel, if you are reading this, I apologize if I was quiet sometimes! I was really concentrating on trying to deal with the pain, hahaha. Anyways, super easy-going and super cool. I would totally recommend her to my friends or anybody that wants some work done. I am absolutely in love with my piece. I went in there almost 2 months ago for my very first tattoo. I found Crystel through IG & made an appointment with her through there (since its by appointment only). The day of my consulation came, I knew what I wanted just not sure how I wanted it to look exactly. After meeting with Crystel, she sent me a draft a few days before my appointment to ok the sketch. And let me tell you, it looked AMAZING!! She was able to work with my schedule & got me in there 2 weeks after my consultation. She even came a little earlier before the shop opened for my session. I was running a little late, but she was completely understanding. I walked in super nervous but she reassured me everything was going to be ok. Before we started, she let me know that if I needed to take any breaks to just let her know. She made me as comfortable as possible. Crystel is just SOOOOO GOOD!! It didn't hurt at all. She didnt have a heavy hand. After my tattoo was done I reached out to her for a question about aftercare & she responded quickly. And even after healing, she reached out about my tattoo. Which means alot. Her customer service is GREAT! I love that she truly cares about her clients. The process (consultation, appointment scheduling, etc.) from start to finish was simple and the customer service was amazing! 1. The conversation in the shop is A1. 2. When I arrived I was the only one in there (as I assume they were opening), Crystel went over Covid protocol and took my temperature. I stopped by Sacred Oath on my way home from work, but didn't really expect to get anything accomplished except making a reservation. To my surprise, Sergio was immediately recommended to handle my piece, and volunteered to do it on the spot, even though they didn't normally take walk ins. My tat was small enough, and simple enough, that it took him literally 5 minutes to put it on me. The prep work actually took longer! Sergio was kind, funny, even keeled, and professional. I was thrilled that I walked out of the shop with my new ink work! It was a logo-looking version of my father's initials. He passed away recently from pancreatic cancer. I went in on Monday and Sergio got my paper work done super quickly and got me set all set up. Mind you this is my first tattoo and I have to say, the experience was amazing. Sergio was really into the design I had given him and seemed excited to do it. Went in and had my tattoo done by Crystel! She's so sweet and easy to get along with. Definitely loved the atmosphere and vibe I got from this shop too, everyone was welcoming and you could tell it felt like they were all family in there. I had Crystel do a colorful blooming red roses w/ green leaves and red tip on the end of the leaves on my forearm. My biggest piece yet. I had to do two sessions because we ran out of time on the first one and she had another person coming in for an appointment. Luckily a week or two after, someone had cancelled on her and asked me if I'd like to come in and finish coloring in the roses sooner and I was down for that. Within a week or two after my second session. My tattoo turned out so clean and beautiful. Love the line work and the vibrant red and the leaves were on point. She really takes her time and puts in the work for her art. I loved talking to her and was very helpful in helping me decide what I wanted.
