    The first text from Karen when she sold me the package. Messed up the bill and then gave me a false promise

    I don't recommend this company. They lie to get you to buy the package. They do not keep their word, even when it's in writing. My exchange was with Karen (no last name), just a phone number to text. She doesn't answer if you call. As you can see from text with Karen when we purchased the package of 8 sessions, I was quoted $2100 for underarms and Brazilian. But I got charged for $2144. Ok $44 more, no biggie. She then said any sessions needed for stubborn areas after we finish our package of 8 sessions will be COMPED. I texted and called Karen (for a month!) to let manager at Los Gatos know that we need a couple more sessions but...SILENCE, NO RESPONSE. I should've reported them to consumers affairs for false advertising. When I called Los Gatos location to speak to manager, the front desk girls won't even let me through! Won't tell me the manager's name. Nothing. You cannot get past anyone for any info. Why so secretive? The manager then texted me and tried to rectify. Just "I'm the manager", no name. I had to pay another $350 for touch up sessions, only to finish what was started and never have to deal with them again. This business is not transparent with their clients. Whatever they promise you is BS to take your money. There are so many places that do laser hair removal nowadays, go to an honest place!

    Once again we are LaserAway customers for many years. It has been a while that we have scheduling issues. We made my son laser hair removal appointment over two months ago for tomorrow April 5th at 3 pm. I always try to make his appointments with Nicole as she is amazing person. Not just her job even her personality is wonderful. I, myself have laser and facial appointments on regular basis but I won't even ask who is the nurse. But we become so sensitive in the case of my son. Bad experiences made us to request for specific nurse for him. My son had laser experience with other nurse and it was just wasted time and Jamie the Los Gatos location manager and director is totally aware of that and she gave him one extra session for what did happen in the past. Today at around 12 pm I received the message that I posted the picture. I called the store to ask for rescheduling him for another day with Nicole. The receptionist put me on hold and she never came back! I tried to call several times but they didn't answer. I went to the store and now I'm writing this review when I'm sitting in my car in front of the store at Los Gatos location. The store was empty of clients. Just one lady showed up at that moment. Also none of the receptionist were busy with phone the whole time I was there. After talking to one of them, ( not Michael) I told her why none of you are not responding the phone? I showed her my phone that how many times I called and they didn't respond. Again I fully explained the situation but she was just saying that Nicole is not working there! When I was asking which location she is working and plz schedule my son there! She was rejected my request and says she is not allowed to tell that!!!! I request to talk to Jamie! I was told she is not available until Monday. I was requesting to talk to Norma! I was told she can't help cuz she is a treatment specialist!!! While I know Norma so well for so many years and I know how helpful she is. Anyway the girl rejected any of my requests with no help or solutions. At the end, she refused to tell me her name when I was asking!!! I was very surprised?!!! I told her why you are not telling me your name???!!! She said because " I was talking to her with attitude "!!!! I'm speechless!!! I really don't know what to say.... Please check the camera to see everything. Even when I asked her why we got the message of this change at last minute?! She told me, because they just received Nicole's work schedule. How can I believe this? This appointment was made two months ago and you found out about her work schedule less than 24 hours before his appointment! And this is how you are treating a loyal customer?!!! With keeping her on phone hold for ever, not responding further phone calls from her and on the bottom line you condemned the client with having attitude when I drove all the way to come to the store to talk to someone to makes everything clear for my son's tomorrow's appointment?!!!!!! That is ridiculous! I need someone to respond to my review. Thank you

    Loving this location and all that it offers. Did my 4th clear and brilliant today with Daria. She was yet another kind and lovely nurse. No surprise there. I think Los Gatos Laser Away does a good job with hiring and team building. Their service continues to stay above average for me, so I continue to exclusively go here (even when I have a closer laser away by my house). Norma is the best. Consultations with her are always pleasant and without any unnecessary pressures. She remains authentic and transparent throughout the process, something I appreciate. For me, I don't like it when people push sales. That's why I like Norma, because she just pushes information. She's detail oriented and answers questions clearly. She educated me on the clear and brilliant series, even offering her personal experience and results. I'm glad I was influenced to get C&B as I believe my pores and uneven skin texture has improved. Now, I'm going to try the IPL series. Tip when doing these series: go ahead and go crazy with the numbing cream. Don't be afraid to get close to your hairline. You might regret when you don't... I did, lol.

They send you a form to fill out and one of the medications I am on was flagged, so I had to get doctor approval. I totally understand that, but I had submitted the form almost a week before my appointment, and they didn't tell me it required doctor approval until the day before my appointment. I had to make a doctor appointment to get them to approve it, which made me miss my original appointment. It ended up being fine and I rescheduled, but it was frustrating that I only had one day notice about all of this. On to the actual appointment... it was a great experience. Much quicker and much less pain than I had anticipated. I was in and out within 10-15 mins. The space itself is inviting and clean, and the ladies at the front desk are so sweet!!! On my last visit, the front desk booked my next treatment without mentioning that I was actually out of credits. Normally, if you don't have credits, the system shouldn't even let them schedule you -- so I assumed everything was fine. Fast forward to this appointment, I finish my treatment and they suddenly tell me I owe around $450. I was honestly shocked. I told them I didn't authorize that and that I would've never come in if I knew I was out of credits. Instead of acknowledging that they forgot to tell me or offering a solution, they went ahead and charged my card anyway, saying it's "their policy." This could've been avoided if they were transparent and told me before booking my next session that I needed to buy more credits. It felt careless and honestly unfair. The way this was handled showed so much lack of transparency and zero accountability. Not good! I'm not happy w my results either so makes everything even worse for me.

I had microneedling done in a different med spa before and remembered it being super painful, but this time I BARELY felt it, with the pain level of 4/10 at most. I can't wait to see my results and to go back for my next session. It was my first time coming to Skin Refine Medspa, and everyone there was so nice and welcoming.     I was referred to La Vie MD. A family member went to the Danville location for GLP-1 treatment for…read morebeing overweight. The Los Gatos location is closer to where I live, so I sought consultation and treatment. When I started treatment at La Vie MD, I was unaware that there was a discount for first-time prescriptions for GLP-1. Therefore, I paid full price for low-dose GLP-1 medication. I inquired about the initial discount more than a month into my treatment and was refused the discount offered to every customer. Instead, I was offered the entry-level price to continue business and refill medication for at least another three months. I had several meetings with Shiva Rostampout, and we slowly increased the dose at her request. In my final month of prescription medication, we were still not at the target or goal therapy agreed upon when starting the medication. Shiva Rostampour stated that I had to increase my dose slowly and that they wouldn't be able to increase my dose until after the completion of the works. I asked for literature, research, or any medical documentation to support her assertion--she provided none. She agreed to increase the dose on the condition that I "consent." She asked me to handwrite on a pad with a pen that I consent to taking an increased dose of medication. She then took the bag of medications and returned to the medication room. I positioned myself so that I could see inside the medication room to witness the medication being drawn up. When Shiva Rostampour noticed that I was looking into the medication room, she promptly closed the door. I asked if drawing up the medication was a private matter and if I could see the medication being drawn up. Shiva Rostampour stated that clients are not allowed to see what is inside the medication room. The first two syringes on the top were the correct dosage we had agreed upon; however, two full milligrams were missing from the other two syringes. I called to ask what happened--why were two syringes so short in medication? She stated that somehow two milligrams had accidentally been injected into the bag. I also inquired further about why the door was promptly closed when the medication was being drawn up--it was my understanding that it is the patient's right to see what medication is being given and to witness that medication being drawn up (preparation). I asked if she was afraid and inquired whether actual medication or water or some other substance was being drawn up. I asked if I could return to the facility to witness all of the medication being redrawn. Shiva Rostampour accepted. I let her know I was approximately 30 minutes away (it would take another hour just in commute to address). She called me approximately 15 minutes later; I was unable to answer. I called back three times, with no answer. The secretary, Shelby, called me back and let me know that Shiva Rostampour stated she was taken aback by the conversation and that she was willing to offer a full refund for the month of medication she gave me that day. I compared the opacity of the syringes given to me in the clinic to another with the medication in question. The opacities were different. I called on 2/10 to discuss the differences in opacities with Shiva Rostampour, she was unavailable to discuss via phone call. She stated that a refund had been issued and the case considered resolved.

The doctor said she was not comfortable performing the procedure, even though photos had already been reviewed beforehand -- so I'm not sure why we were even scheduled and charged. We were told the surgery would cost between $600-$1200 and that the $300 consultation would be applied toward the operation. Afterward, they went back on that and said the consultation would not count. Then we received an estimate for $1800, which effectively cancels out the original $300 they said would be credited. This felt misleading and dishonest from start to finish. I would not trust their pricing or their promises.
